I contacted Phoenix Gas for a quote to replace my ageing combi boiler after British Gas quoted me more than £3,500 - even after a £450 discount because I was a Homecare customer! Ryan from Phoenix came to my home to carry out a full survey and was able to give me a guaranteed quote on the spot - nearly £1,000 cheaper than the one from another supplier. A date for installation was agreed and the work was subsequently carried out by gas engineer Simon. He went out of his way to protect my property from any damage during the installation and his work was carried out to a very high standard. He was even able to change the planned route of the condensate drainpipe from the front of the house to the rear because he felt - and I agreed - that it would look better that way. All in all it was a great job at a great price.

After several quotes contacted Ryan at Phoenix Gas and he visited at short notice - surveyed and recommended the boiler - size and location - quoted on the spot. All questions answered - because of his professionalism and quote decided to go with them - proved to be the right decision. Matt arrived on the agreed date to start the job and worked all through returning the second day to finish the mechanicals - Lee the electrician came later in the day to wire everything up and the bricky a few days later to patch up the brickwork where the old flue was. All workmen cleaned up after them, all old parts were taken away and the installation looks very professional. The office staff also were easy to deal with with all documents following to finalise the job. Would highly recommend Phoenix from start to finish - a company that does what it promises and what you would expect at a competitive price - thanks to all at Phoenix!

From an initial phone call requesting a quote to a survey and then boiler replacement, I cannot fault Phoenix Gas Services. Appointments were made and kept and the surveyor and gas fitter were both highly professional. The boiler was fitted with the minimum of disruption by Steve Findler who left the area spotless on completion. All the staff I dealt with were pleasant, efficient and really helpful. I could not be more pleased with the service and the price.

I cannot speak highly enough of Phoenix Gas. From when Ryan came to survey the job, until the work was completed they were all so professional. Michael the Engineer turned up on time, each of the 3 days ~ he was a really nice chap, and worked so hard (fuelled by endless cups of coffee!!!) ensuring that the old boiler was removed, and the new one installed very efficiently. He tidied up after himself at every stage. He involved me throughout as to what he was doing. A builder came during the job and blocked up the hole in the wall where the old boiler had been. Again, a very pleasant chap with a young lad, and he advised me when I could paint over the plastering. As for after sales care, again Phoenix excelled themselves. Although Michael explained how to use the new boiler, I didn’t seem to understand why I wasn’t getting the instant continuous hot water that I was expecting. They sent someone out on two occasions to look at it, and said it was fine. There was nothing wrong with the boiler ~ I was used to having a tankful of hot water with the old back boiler, that was just sat there wasting fuel. It took me a few days to understand how a combination boiler actually worked, and I had to wait for the hot water to travel through the pipes! Everyone at Phoenix have been so helpful, and I would recommend them

My CH boiler went faulty - I had a 'Home Emergency' cover from CET. After two visits from their 'engineer' and a complicated interchange between myself and CET but still without hot water after a month, I turned to Phoenix Gas Service who came to my rescue. They arranged for a rapid visit from one of their engineers. The outcome was that I decided to have the boiler replaced. They carried out the work on the agreed date and price. Altogether a flawless operation - neat, tidy, professional and friendly service. All is working as it should, and I have decided to take out a service contract with them. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Had a Vaillant combi boiler installed replacing a 30 year old free standing boiler with a gravity fed system and all the associated pipework, header tanks and hot water cylinder to be removed. The prospect of all this was quite daunting to me wondering how the job would go, floor boards up, holes drilled here and there etc!! Matthew turned up around 9 as arranged on Monday so I left him to it. When I returned around 3pm I couldn’t believe the progress he’d made, 75% done. The following day he arrived at 8-30 and the whole job was completed by 12-30. The quality of his work was of a very high standard and everything was left neat and tidy. I would definitely recommend Phoenix gas services for a fantastic job done. Very pleased.

Phoenix Gas Services Limited did a service on my combi boiler based on a 3 year service contract. This was the second year. The person who did the service was very friendly and respected all Covid 19 rules. As far as I would be able to judge the quality of the service to my opinion it was very good. The engineer was able to answer all my questions. Also complements for the back office who contacted me to make the appointment. Also very friendly people.

Easy on-site quotation process. A competitive price. Lewis and his team of installers did a cracking job over two days switching out a gravity-fed system to a combi. Attention to detail, for example, matching brickwork to plug the old flu hole. All in all first class.
