The Lawsons came highly recommended by a family member who had used them for their loft conversion, and I am pleased to say we would highly recommend them too. They offered a competitive quote for our single storey extension and were clear on when they could start and how long they would take. Their timescale seemed optimistic compared to the timescales others had quoted but they managed the project so efficiently they even wrapped up a couple of days early! They struck the perfect balance between taking decisions to keep things on track and consulting us where needed. If we had any queries we could easily ask Chris or Ray in person as one of them turned up every day at 8am. Ray was also always available by phone. We had a couple of small snags, as you would with any build, and they happily came back to remedy them. However, the best thing about the Lawsons is that Ray and Chris and the team are genuinely nice people. They approached issues with a positive and proactive but relaxed approach (eg they came across a leaking sewer pipe, which they promptly fixed using a sister company). Charges for additional work we requested along the way were kept to a minimum, and they were fair in removing items from the original quote that we no longer needed, so overall we came in on budget with no need to find contingency funds - a great relief. The work itself was completed to a high standard and we are very pleased with it. We'd use them again without hesitation.

Ray, Chris and rest of team completed our garage conversion and front extension. We are really pleased with the finished job, they are great, reliable team, often completing extra last minute requests as the work went on without quibble. Also making adjustments to the original plans to ensure the build works well and to the best standard. Any changes or options were fully discussed before implemented. Disruption was kept to minimum and we felt very comfortable leaving the house to them whilst out at work for the day. Lawson & Sons came recommended to us and we would have no issues recommending them to others.
