We are very pleased with our Orangery. It is light and airy, well insulated and sound proofed. The build process was protracted, through no fault of Richmond Oak, due to Coronavirus etc, but they made every effort to progress the building work. Mark and Jess were the best building workers we have ever come across, with great attention to quality and tidiness.

I am delighted with the garden room designed and built by Richmond Oak. The company were very attentive to my ideas and needs from the architect and design brief through to construction. They worked well with my local builder and other trades. The room was completed on time and on budget and their installers paid great attention to providing a quality finish. They were true gentleman and worked every day putting in full hours. I could not have had better workmen. The construction took about 12 weeks but I spent a long time prior to this getting the detailed design just right. There was no coercion, the company were very patient and delivered something to fit my budget. The building sits beautifully against my 160 year old cottage and maximises the great views.

We had a Richmond Oak orangery fitted about 8 years ago. Although we have been very happy with the style and build quality of this stand-alone building, a problem occurred in the flat roof section which caused the boards to deteriorate. While outside the guarantee period, Richmond Oak took a 'no nonsense' approach and agreed to completely replace the affected roof area at no cost to us. This is great customer service! While I would have readily recommended Richmond Oak to anyone thinking of having an orangery or conservatory in the past, I would now be even more positive in being able to praise both the quality of their builds and their level of customer support.

From the attention to detail at the design stage to the craftsmanship during the construction, Richmond Oak's work was superb. The experience was made that much easier by the friendliness of all the people involved with our project. Our orangery looks amazing.

We had an idea of what we wanted and it needed to complement a thatched and Listed property, so it had to be right. We liaised with Richmond Oak until we had the best design, with several versions being considered before we made a decision to go ahead. The ground work was done by local builders and all went well with the co-ordination. The budget was exactly that which had originally been agreed and the schedule, although delayed due to an archaeological condition in the planning permission, was worked around to our satisfaction. The building was expensive but I believe that it is worth paying the extra for such a quality job and finish. All of our friends and acquaintances are very complimentary about it. Richmond Oak are a high spec firm where quality of materials, coupled with excellent tradesmen with very high standards led to a wonderful living space, just what we wanted. Right from the start the building evolved due to their patience, helpfulness, excellent communication and follow-up. The use of seasoned and laminated as opposed to green oak, which is their trademark, appealed to us and we have no regrets about taking their advice. They were also very flexible if we were unhappy about anything, and the finishing was second to none. All in all, a very pleasurable and exciting experience and we hope to spend many years of enjoyment in it.

Beautifully designed orangery. It took a long time, partly because we were away at various times during the build, but the result is worth it. The workmen for the various stages - ground works, carpentry, electrics - were considerate and trustworthy. Not the cheapest on the market, but worth the money.

Work carried out on schedule and to budget. Quality product, friendly expert advice and excellent service. No hesitation in recommending.
