About

After many years working for companies that I believed had an incorrect ethos with regard to customer service, I decided in 2013 to put my money where my mouth was and set up my own company. Our Tag line is' Traditional Service With A Modern Approach' which simply translates as 'treat customers how you would like to be treated'.

Since being made redundant after 20 years service in a technical trade in the Armed Forces, I consider myself to be extremely lucky to have a second career that I thoroughly enjoy. My background in this industry is varied, having worked for large companies involved in social housing to smaller firms predominately working for home owners but on occasion led to being sub-contracted out to larger companies including Gas providers for extended periods on specific projects.

Our aspiration is that not only will our customers use us again but they will have no hesitation in recommending us to their family and friends.

Nigel has been a lifesaver on two occasions. He firstly fitted a new thermostat when ours stopped talking to our boiler leaving us with no heating. We phoned and he arrived the same day to identify the problem and the next day he fitted a new one. Then when our guests arrived to no hot water or heating ( and we are in Brighton!) he went up within an hour or so and sorted the problem quickly and efficiently. I cannot recommend Nigel highly enough- excellent service at a good price! Yes

Nigel responded the same day I called and diagnosed the issue in my ridiculous heating system accurately, professionally and efficiently. He patiently listened to me list the multiple quirks of my maniac systems plumbing (!) and my specific requirements then made an appointment to carry out surgery the following week, kindly leaving me with hot water in the meantime. Subsequently he deftly sorted the defiant aortic issues in the pump etc and went above and beyond to fix an extra complication in my attic for which I am ever grateful. Genius. Nigel is very helpful, polite, tidy, accommodating and unintimidating (important if client is of a nervous disposition) and hey. He has a magnificent beard. Thank you Nigel and Rob- all round happy, even the invoice didn't freak me out.

Nigel replaced our old, broken boiler with a new combi-boiler. He attended at very short notice and re-arranged work to fit us in. The quote was accurate for the work carried out. From start to finish, Nigel kept me informed step by step on the installation of my new boiler. He is a highly efficient plumber who is very conscientious who stuck to the timetable for completion. He liaised with his electrician and ensured the electrical work was to a high standard. He made sure the work area was left in a clean and tidy condition. Nigel stuck to the original quote and was well within my budget. I would recommend him highly to any future clients. In summary, a highly efficient tradesman with a keen eye for detail with a friendly attitude, who made me feel at ease. Thank you Nigel.

Nigel really helped us out. Our twelve-year-old boiler started to break down. One phone call to him, he came almost immediately. As new customers, he gave us a quote and also emailed it to us. He then rearranged his work schedule so that he could install the new one the following week. Excellent service. Punctual and problem solved our situation. We would highly recommend him.

Nigel, installed a replacement boiler a few years ago. We had a good technical discussion about what was required. I have a practical technical background myself & appreciated his expertise. The work was carried out promptly & I was impressed with his workmanship & attention to detail . A very clean & organised worker. Since then he has carried out an annual service. This has always been thorough together with helpful information / advice given. I am very pleased with the service & will be using his services again.

Nigel my engineer was lovely. I called him in because I needed help with my central heating. He explained how the boiler worked and also checked all the radiators, sorting out individual problems with them. Nigel remained calm, was focused and listened to my concerns throughout his visit. He was very professional and explained clearly what I needed to know and what next steps I would need to take. Nigel was recommended by another gas engineer and I would have no hesitation to recommend him myself.
