Satellite Television Contractors aka. STC Digital TV Services were est. 1968 when our primary focus was Television Aerials & TV Rentals. We are a family business & have a vast experience gained since the sixties of the TV entertainment industry with an intimate knowledge of our coverage area. We operate out of our Hemel Hempstead office which is located on the high street in Apsley & has a sales desk where we welcome the opportunity to meet our customers & discuss their requirements. We are SMATV qualified CAI Plus members & have a small fleet of fully qualified installers who are CRB checked, heights trained, CSCS accredited & have each worked for us for many years. Our office & sales desk staff provide a friendly, informative reception, offering technical advice where possible to our many repeat customers whose long term custom is our goal. We offer both domestic & commercial services, specializing in communal/IRS TV/Satellite systems.

First rate service from beginning to end. Prompt and friendly answering of my call, and able to give a price range estimate and book me in rather than having to refer to someone else. Then a call in the morning to confirm the appointment, and the technician turned up on time, was also friendly and efficient and charged exactly the minimum amount in the estimate. Oh, and he fixed my aerial so it was not only working, but also no longer needed an anti-interference power supply.

We have used this company for 47 years - since we arrived in the area. Charlene has taken over from her Dad who started the company and runs it with great efficiency. She is very knowledgeable herself and her 2 engineers went about their task quickly and efficiently. They cheerfully redid some of their work because we changed our minds as to positioning so very obliging.

Telephoned in advance to let me know when engineer would be arriving. Identified water getting into aerial booster and replaced parts. Overall an excellent service and thought good value for money. Definitely would recommend them.

Despite several attempts and some huge expenditure primarily, the problem was diagnosed as my cabling. This was replaced quickly, cleanly and with very reasonable cost. There was no unwanted upselling, just a good job completed efficiently.

I engaged this company recently to resolve an issue with my Sky reception and to convert a satellite receiver to digital. I was very pleased with how the job was handled and the work was done. The two engineers were very helpful in sorting out my somewhat non-standard set-up of equipment.

We first used this company many years ago and were very pleased with their work. When we upgraded our system recently we asked for a quote and the work was carried out quickly and efficiently. Very friendly and co-operative. Ray even came back some weeks later to re-adjust the television due to broadcasting changes.
