As a family run business Scott Maintenance Services are local to Rickmansworth and have been providing full Plumbing, Gas & Heating services in Rickmansworth and surrounding areas for over 30 years.
We have developed a great reputation over the years due to our professional, reliable and friendly service.
We offer a same day service for all our plumbing and heating customers. emergencies being a priority.
If you need a job done in the evening or over the weekend give me a call, I try and answer the phone at all times but if it transfers to my answering service, please leave a message and I'll call you back asap, alternatively if your jobs not that urgent you can email or text me with brief details and I'll get back to you.

Complete annual boiler service on 26/6 and fixed minor fault light issue that kept occurring. John has been my regular boiler maintenance and general plumber for whenever I've needed someone for some time now. He is a calm and polite professional who is reasonably priced, honest and expert in his work. He does his job without fuss and you can fully trust him. He is exactly the kind of professional you hope to find when seeking out a gas safe plumber. Highly recommend.

I have used Scott maintenance services to service my boiler and sort out plumbing problems for the last 10 years. John is friendly, very knowledgeable and always has a smile on his face. I am always amazed at how quickly John responds to my requests and has never failed to diagnose problems. Today he has completely stripped my boiler down and replaced most of the insides leaving me with what is effectively a new boiler. This has saved me about £2k as I thought I would need a new one. Thanks again SMS, you deserve more than 5 stars.

I first found John Scott during lockdown when I needed my boiler servicing and my previous plumber had gone AWOL. I am very pleased with the work John has done servicing my heating system. New house so wanted boiler service. John also agreed to give the gas fire and hob the once over. Clear reasonable pricing agreed in advance. John arrived spot on time, checked the gas meter/mains, then did boiler service (despite its awkward position). He went into the attic to check the flues for both boiler and fire, then showed me how the gas fire worked as I had no idea! Likewise explained the hob (I've come from all-electric). We had a discussion about the boiler's age, and spare parts availability, and he made no effort to 'upsell' a new boiler as some company engineers do. Quite the contrary. Invoice was as agreed. All in all a pleasure to do business with.
