Hello my name is Steve, I've been tiling floors and walls within properties using ceramic, porcelain, natural stone and mosaic tiles for the past 25yrs +,
Whether it be tiling through to handy man general maintenance work you will always get 100%.I enjoy my job and take pride in my work. Being customer focused, I ensure I listen to what the customer wants and am always willing to provide advice/suggestions/alternatives when required. I am a clean and tidy worker at all times.
Any trade discount I get on tiling materials I always pass onto you, this keeps my price down which is good for you and me.
I will give free surveys either face to face or via whats app, and you will always, no matter how small the job is, receive a written quotation from me by email.

This is the second time that I have used Steve from SDB Building & Maintenance to undertake tiling work at my property. Both jobs have been to lay brand new tiles to the floor vice carpet and vinyl. Steve is very friendly, helpful and does a good job. Everything from the initial consultation about the job through to the final invoice is done professionally. The prices that Steve quotes are fair and reasonable and he can be trusted to get on with the job even if your not available. I would definitely recommend him to others and will seek to use him again myself for any future tiling jobs that I need doing.

Steve is an absolute delight to work with. Steve’s contact, both before and during the project (tiling of hallway and bathroom), were great. We asked plenty of questions and Steve was always available to help us. Steve kindly offered his trade discount to us at Topps Tiles. Steve’s quote was timely, fair and professional. The work carried out was superb, all tiling finished to a high standard and we’re very happy with our new bathroom and hallway! We really appreciated was how Steve worked closely with his recommended plumber to coordinate all work in our home. Second time we've used Steve. First time was the kitchen, this time the bathroom. Had large tiles (60 x 20 cm) put in which meant lots of cutting and figuring out how best to place them. Came up with great solutions. Did a brilliant job as always, recommended the correct colour of grout (not white). Steve's a really nice bloke, does a really professional job at a reasonable price, is very reliable and would recommend. Unfortunately we've no more tiling jobs to do......

Steve has completed two pieces of work for us: an extension of existing tiles in our bathroom (along with the installation of a shower screen and shower holder) and the installation of some tiles in our kitchen. Both jobs were completed to a very high standard. Steve is both incredibly friendly and very professional. He works in a clean and tidy way, leaving our property exactly as he found it. From Initial contact right through to the completion Steve gave clear first class advice especially to questions of optimum tile size together with colours of grouts & trim, turned up on time & did a really professional fit of the tiles to our newly installed kitchen. Steve could not have been more professional or helpful. A formal quote was provided very quickly, alongside a welcome telephone call to discuss our requirements. Steve was very helpful when selecting our tiles and offered us his company discount, much appreciated. No question was too small and all answered quickly and thoroughly. Even when Steve was on holiday - he answered our questions. We had to cancel the actual work due to a home emergency and Steve was very understanding. When we come to tile again we will most definitely call Steve. Thank you so much!
