This was a job to remove an Insinkerator waste disposal unit that had rusted badly and replace with a new one. On the first visit Jader made it clear the job was not routine as the unit was very difficult to remove, and that he would need to come back with an electric saw. Also he was not sure it would take only an hour, which is what I paid for with ServiceTeams. So I agreed to pay for extra time if necessary and Serviceteams got me another appointment with Jader the following day, a Saturday. Jader came back and sawed the old unit off in no time and installed the new one - all in less than an hour. Excellent job, highly recommended.

Kate was excellent in setting up the visit and making sure that the time and scope of work were agreed upon. Jader arrived on time having messaged in advance. He got on with the repair straight away. When he finished he showed me the damage to the old valve and explained that I did not need a new expansion vessel. He was very tidy and fully COVID compliant. Exceeded my expectations so again 5 stars.

Based on my experience with this firm - steer clear. Their chap came with a replacement for Bath taps, basin taps and toilet cistern. Calls me in to confirm the job is complete and the basin taps hadn't been replaced. The bloke says "Oh, that's what is in that box - nobody told me". I then get grabbed from my bank an extra charge cos the guy had to stay at the house for longer to finish the job off properly. Having had my heating system flushed, it was very, very noisy. The chap left, deliberating setting pump to high instead of medium. It is still noisier at Medium than it was previously as so much air is left in the system. Now use Immersion Heater for heating water instead of Gas Boiler as otherwise, so much air ends up in bathroom radiator and it needing to be bled all the time. A wall tile was broken when removing the bath panel. I only found out a few days after paying up and the bank grab. I thought some chewing gum had been left on the floor but it was a drop-off from affixing the broken piece of tile. Also had boot marks on whitewalls as the shortish chap had such a small foot ladder to get into the loft, so he used the wall for leverage. There was a promise of preferential rates for Which? clients. Ask to get it. Don't assume by mentioning Which? you'll get it applied.
