Shaw Bros undertook two pieces of work for us. One was replacement of an old felt and bitumen covered garage roof which was conducted swiftly and efficiently as they discovered that parts of the wooden roof sheeting underneath were damaged and needed to be replaced. The second was to replace two eroded and crumbling drain covers and surrounds situated half way down the drive. As it also included insertion of new section of concrete surrounding the manholes they suggested that the most advantageous time to undertake the work is while we were away on holiday; so allowing nearly a fortnight for the newly bedded manholes and the surrounding concrete to cure before being subject to being driven over by may car. Both jobs were executed efficiently and vastly improved both the garage and the driveway.

Window blocked up, another window put in, window knocked out and French doors installed, removal of radiator and gas fire, installation of a log burning stove, external flue, plastering.

Shaw Bros. installed a new central heating boiler. They were happy to coordinate their installation with my building works and stuck to specific dates. When faulty parts were found at commissioning they contacted the boiler manufacture and had parts expressed and also got the manufacturers engineer to site to sort out the problem. I think their level of customer service is excellent.

Annual boiler servicing with additional repair work on leaking radiator, and draining system when pressure built up by mistake, to find possible stolen pipework not noticed before.

I had gas central heating fitted. They were speedy and reasonably priced. They have since been back 3 times to service the system and last time had to return to replace a valve. Anytime I phone with a question they are always friendly and helpful.
