Excellent service from start to finish! Professional and efficient from Dave and Jacob, nothing was too much trouble, extremely clean covering all floors Jacob even hoovered everywhere no mess whatsoever! Jacob was hard-working extremely polite and helpful an absolute asset to SmartGas. Would highly recommend.

Found this company online, I was trying to find a company in the area I live in that was top-rated, not a cowboy but not a huge business either where you’re a number and they aren’t too fussed for your repeat custom. This company seem to value their client base and both men were very professional. They dealt with my query and were pleasant throughout, gave me a rough quote; he even tried to fit me in a few days earlier than I had anticipated. They fitted a pan connector for us, he was friendly, tidy, informative and wore a mask and overshoes whilst in my home which I appreciated, you also get a message to advise they are so many minutes away and this was adhered to, he was very punctual. I will definitely use these guys again for any gas and plumbing needs.

Removal of Gas Oven

When clearing my late brother's house I needed to safely remove the gas oven for collection by the council. I saw Smart Gas listed in an internet search, saw that they were local to me, and rang them to ask for help. Dave responded quickly and arranged for Jake to carry out the work within a few days. He checked the pipes and the meter carefully and disconnected the oven, sealing the gas pipe safely and efficiently. Very helpfully Jake then moved the oven to a place for collection in front of the house. I am delighted with such friendly and effective service, and I enjoyed a further follow-up conversation with Dave.

New boiler at home and service on a boiler at rental property

Having been recommended by a friend after needing a landlord boiler service Dave arranged an appointment the next week. Jake came out and he was polite, clean and tidy answered all my questions professionally. Then we arranged a boiler service at home, again Jake came to undertake this job too. Unfortunately we needed to have a new boiler. Jake took all the details including new radiators and we went ahead. Managed to get us in within a couple of days. Can't fault their work, and professionalism and they left everything so tidy you wouldn't know they'd been. Have signed up to service contracts and will be having a quote for our ensuite soon.

Dave. Came today. To discuss boiler service and service plan. He serviced the boiler, then signed up up to a service plan, that included all heating. Gas pipes. Water pipes. And it was still cheaper then British gas. Who quoted us £100 more just for annual boiler service. Would Highly recommended Dave and his Smart Gas Company. Local company serving local people.

Saved us from freezing

Having just moved into a new house we found ourselves without a reliable heating system just as the snow arrived. They were able to quickly recommend and source a new boiler and they fitted it the next day. We massively appreciated not being stuck without heating and hot water for more than a few days. They arrived early each morning and even helped me out with my new puppy when I was called into work. I left them with a key and completely trusted them to just get on with the work. 100% recommend to friends and family.

Replacement toilet

Came across SmartGas on our local Facebook group as highly recommended. I contacted them to replace a faulty outside toilet. David turned up on time having sent a text stating when he would arrive to give an estimate stating they would be able to do it that week. The quote was excellent so I agreed the work could go ahead. Was notified when the work would commence and Jacob arrived promptly. He was very professional and clearly not fazed by what turned out to be a difficult toilet to remove and replace, having been in for over 100 years. He carried out the work to a very high standard and was polite and courteous and a credit to the company. I would recommend SmartGas without hesitation as a company that turns up when they say, does the work to a high standard and for a reasonable price. They will certainly be my first port of call for any future plumbing and heating work.
