Called Steve to inspect what I thought may be faulty switch(s), broken timer or a loss of power supply to a piece of lifesaving equipment. He came exactly at agreed date & time and worked thoroughly to check for and eliminate potential issues. Turns out this was a basic issue that can be resolved with a suitable replacement part I could buy and fit myself. Steve told me what to get and how to replace safely. By helping me do this he’s saved me money and was kind enough not to levy a call out charge on this occasion. Friendly, personable, knowledgeable and more than fair. I’ll use Steve again when I next need an electrician.

Steve totally saved us. We woke on a Friday morning to find all downstairs sockets not working. A frantic search later I was lucky enough to find Steve. First thing is Steve's top priority was to make sure my family and I could sort out the situation - which had taken out our kitchen and boiler (so no hot water). Throughout the work he did he was completely committed to sorting out the situation we found ourselves in and managed his work to allow us to get the boiler working so we could bathe our young kids. Next is that Steve was focused on helping solve the problem. Before he came around and did anything chargeable he took time to help me go through everything that I could do myself to try to get to the route of the issue and solve it. Ultimately I wasn't able to get to the bottom of the issue, but that meant Steve didn't have to go back over the simpler fixes and could get straight to the more involved work. The quality of Steve's work was top - he's obviously the type of person who takes pride in doing a good job and doing it properly. Finally - Steve's attitude was absolutely fantastic. Positive, friendly and committed to getting the job done. He was a great communicator, letting us know exactly what was going on and what he was doing. Thoroughly recommend if you have electrical work that needs doing. Thank you Steve!

Steve has just completed a project for us, relocating some sockets and switches, putting in extra ones, replacing ordinary sockets to sockets with USBs, fitting new pendant lighting and new spotlights, supplying power for a wall mounted tv and running new cable in the loft to the existing aerial. He also updated some electrics in our garden. The first point to make is that Steve is a thoroughly genuine and nice family guy to have working in your home. He is skilled at his job, very safety conscious, reliable, polite, an excellent communicator, punctual, efficient, hardworking and cheerful - even on the days when unforeseen problems arise. He is also respectful of other tradespeople working on the same project and he is willing to be flexible when their work unexpectedly delays his own. It was clear to us from the moment we met Steve that he was committed to delivering an excellent service. He listened carefully to our requirements and explained clearly to us the various options available. His quote arrived within a sensible time frame and he completed the job for the price he quoted, which is important on a fairly large renovation project. We really appreciated Steve’s ‘can do’ attitude to the work in hand and his view that there is a solution to every problem. Simply put, great guy, great electrician, recommend 100%.

Steve attended an address I wanted a variety of small domestic jobs done. Rather than having the decency to either say that he did not want to do the work or that he was too busy, despite saying he would be in touch with a quote,a year and a half on, I am still to receive the said quote or any contact from him. It would seem that if the work that you require to be done does not appeal to him, then he will lead you on and waste your time waiting for a quote when you could of been getting someone trustworthy to give a quote. Very poor service and glad I never used his services now if this is his way of treating potential customers.

I'm new to the area and needed some new sockets, a modern fuse box and a few other jobs done. Steve arrived to have a look and give me a quote. He was polite and efficient and always explained exactly why he thought some things needed doing and not others. I will most certainly use his services again for other electrical jobs and have already been recommending him to friends in the area.
