Stiltz is a UK company which designs, manufactures and installs a unique range of elegant and practical Homelifts.

The lifts use intelligent technology designed to make your life easier; a Stiltz Homelift fits quickly and easily into your home and will compliment any decor. Fit a Homelift in the corner of a room, a cupboard or - space permitting - in the turn of the stairs.

Alternatively, chose to make a bold statement and position your eye-catching lift centre-stage in an entrance hallway or main living area.

A Stiltz Homelift is available in 2 ranges and several models in each range. DUO range is designed for up to 2 persons while TRIO range will transport up to 3 people or a full-sized wheelchair.

Packed with sensors to keep everyone safe, it plugs straight into a domestic socket, runs very quietly and uses less energy than a kettle!

Stiltz Homelifts are designed to make a genuine difference to homeowners lives, allowing you to continue to live in the home you love for as long as you want

Low ceilings no problem for Stiltz
Customer Service
My retirement home in Wiltshire is a small cottage with a very steep and narrow staircase. My partner has disabilities so if we are to move then we will need to instal a lift. Stiltz provided the answer, a very courteous and knowledgeable surveyor/salesman visited and decided that with some additional work a Stiltz lift could be installed. After haggling over the price and a further survey I agreed to proceed with the installation. The work took five days as it was necessary to create a significant recess in the upstairs ceiling. Stiltz dealt with the council's building control and also used a structural engineer to check their drawings. All of the people that I dealt with were courteous, punctual and tidy. The installation is very neat and compact and has made continuing to live in the property possible. The major downside to the process is the way in which prices are arrived at. Stiltz salesmen would not provide a breakdown of the costs eg the lift car, engineering works, installation but only spoke in very round figures. It was not too difficult to obtain a substantial discount from the opening price but I would have preferred a much more transparent pricing structure. I have no real idea whether or not the final price that I agreed was the 'correct' price. However I needed the lift and was prepared to pay the final agreed price. All in all I can thoroughly recommend Stiltz but would advise clients to be robust when negotiating the cost.

No value in a previously installed Stiltz Lift
Customer Service
We had a Stiltz Duo lift installed in April 2016 in my father in law's apartment. It has hardly been used. He has now gone to a Care Home and the lift, almost new, is redundant. Stiltz tell me today that not only is there no residual value in the as-new lift, they will charge me £2,500 to take it out! Be sure to add this into your costings when you buy a Stiltz lift. An excellent product but you must write-off £12,500 + £2,500 when you buy one.!

The trader replied (on 08/11/2019)
Good day. We are sorry you have felt the need to post a negative review. Unfortunately, we do not operate a policy of buying back previously-installed homelifts. In many cases, the lifts are bespoke to the home they have been installed in and will not be suitable for resale. In terms of lift removal, I'm sure you will understand that, as a business, we need to charge to cover the time of our builders/installers to un-install the homelift and make good the aperture in your Father-in-Law's property.
