We had solar panels and battery fitted in October last year, sws installed them, the guys that fitted the panels and battery were great, turned up on time and were finished in about 4 hours, everything neat and tidy, cables routed neatly in roof space despite being a bit of a squeeze for the poor electrician.Fitted maximum number of panels on two roofs. All working great. The scaffolders managed to break a few tiles, mentioned this to Nic , he got straight onto it. Within a couple of days sent roofer round to put things right. Great service, didn't have to wait months for the installation. Not the cheapest quote but all the gear is top quality. You get what you pay for. Definitely recommend.

Investing life savings in Solar panels and batteries is never going to be an impulsive decision, brilliant efforts from all involved made it easy. Nic Goodwin's very thorough survey (including the loft!), ever cheerful and polite installers and office staff who followed up every stage to ensure all had gone to plan. After sales support is great. One month since installation we enjoy 5-10 kWhr and top up the batteries at off-peak rate saving us around £15 weekly in November! Recent talk of power cuts makes the Emergency Power Supply option well worthwhile. The system has already made our lives better and SWS deserve their success. Unreservedly recommended

The whole project was a pleasant experience, from the visit, by an engineer not a salesman, to generate a quote through to handing over the working system. I also had to wait for my batteries, but that was out of their control. The panel installation was completed in a day by very experienced fitters. It came in under budget as they found they couldn't fit the quoted 9 panels.

A great experience from start to finish. The sales process was professional and informative, with no pressure. Installation was quick and efficient. There was a short term battery supply problem, but SWS were quick to provide a temporary solution, followed by the finished installation soon afterwards. I have no hesitation in recommending SWS for this type of installation.

Great service from initial enquiry to completion. We had to wait for a couple of weeks for the batteries due to a logistical problem but we were kept informed and updated by the SWS team, who were very helpful at all stages of the job. Thanks once again.

We had a solar system with battery storage fitted by SWS and they come highly recommended. The communication was clear and their initial assessment / survey was not in any way pushy. The installation was very efficient, completed between 10am and 3pm, a tidy job by a team who clearly knew what they were doing. The system itself comes with a very useful app that allows you to see what's going on with generation, battery storage, consumption and import from/export to the grid. The only negative was that no one told us that the batteries wouldn't be available at the time of the installation, we didn't know until the installers arrived on the day. We then had to wait a month before the batteries were available, however we were given 6kWh of storage rather than 4.8kWh as was originally quoted, so that's certainly not something that means SWS deserve anything less than a 5 star review.

Overall the service was very efficient, there was a delay of over 2 weeks to get my battery fitted due to supply chain issues but the communication and customer service was generally good

we had a 10 x 4kw solar panal system with backup batteries fitted ... that was supplied and fitted in the same day to a very high standard any mess was cleared and removed ..the price was as quoted no hidden extras ..the actual price was excellent ..from first phoning for a quote to the system fitted and working every aspect was spot on the roofers ..electricians vand scaffolders were polite hard working and very professional in there trade explaining any question asked we were kept informed in every stage of the operation by sws ..and we would have no problem recommending sws to others ........well done sws

I was very happy with the installation of the air source heat pump, radiators and new pipes. They spend quite a lot of time answering all our questions and made sure there was as little disruption to my home as possible (not an easy task when you are installing new pipes for radiators everywhere). The workmen were friendly and courteous. And although there was some mess while they were working everything was cleaned up before they left. They also arranged for our old oil tank to be removed before the work started and helped relocate two light switches that were in the way.

Installing air source heat pump and new radiators. All work was carried out with minimum disruption and on time. There was good liaison between the company and ourselves right from the start, initial inspections were carried out and all works required and costed were completed to a high level with no last minute changes of any significance. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently, all work areas were left neat and tidy and all old radiators and old packaging were removed as arranged. Any minor problems were discussed and explained well and did not significantly effect the work. The system was set up for us and it’s operation explained precisely and clearly. There have been no problems with the operation of the system. Overall we have been very pleased with the whole procedure and cannot find fault with anything.

ASH pump and cylinder installed and 9 rads upgraded. Work was done within agreed schedule and budget. It quickly became apparent that the initial installation team lacked the necessary expertise to carry out the work competently. Several problems manifested themselves. However, SWS management very quickly addressed the problems. Their conduct was exemplary: they were extremely helpful, kept in constant communication and were not satisfied until the last issue had been fixed. I have since recommended the company to family, friends and neighbours.

My in-laws had solar panels installed in 2006 by a totally different company. They recently had a leak and contacted the company who advised they could not come out to the until March 2022. As this was not acceptable, I contacted SWS Northwest Ltd on 3rd Feb. The telephone was answered by a lovely lady called Lisa. I explained I was looking for someone to remove solar panels due to a leak. She kindly passed my details over to Shaun, one of the directors of the company. He telephoned me within 15 minutes of my initial contact. I explained what I wanted and that the other company could not come out until 2022 and he was horrified. He advised someone could come on Saturday 6th around 12ish. He phoned me at 12.15 to see if the lads had arrived and I advised no, he said they should be with us with in the next 10 - 5 minutes but if they had not arrived by 12.40 to call him. The lads turned up at 12.30. They asked why we were removing them and I explained again to them what had happed and the timeframe. They too were horrified. They took the solar panels off the roof, to reveal a horror scene. The previous company had completely damaged the roof. SWS moved tiles around to stop the leaks, after they drove around looking for somewhere that sold new tiles. My in-laws were speechless at how fast this company had been in resolving their issue. We are truly humbled and grateful for their help. They have gone above and beyond and provided an extremely excellent service.

Did a great job installing an air source heat pump at my house. Went over and beyond, to complete the job, despite delivery delays. Stayed an extra half-day (plus long hours on the other workdays) to finish. Very helpful, hard-working and pleasant to have to do the work.

[I do not understand the tick box at the top: if I tick it and therefore claim that I haven't used this trader, how could I share an experience I haven't had? Am I missing something here?] SWS installed an ASH Pump (17kw), compatible cylinder and nine replacement, upgraded radiators. Communication between SWS and myself remained flawless throughout. The on-site technicians were quick, clean and efficient. They were ready to listen to and answer any queries I had and demonstrated a good level of knowledge in their responses. The work was carried out to the agreed schedule and budget, though certain teething problems were encountered. These, however, were remedied rapidly. The most outstanding aspect, apart from my satisfaction with the product itself, was the level of aftercare. The coordination between the main office and the installation technicians was superb and the experience has left me with a high level of confidence in SWS.

We had researched this system a little and following the visit by the sales chap, we took a couple of days to make a decision. Within a 5 week period the system was fitted up and working. Iwan, the lead of the fitters team worked continually, non stop and jobs were finished as if it were wizardry. The only time he would stop was when you asked for an explanation of how a piece of equipment worked and he would give a complete explanation, fitting in the pieces a step at a time to provide an overall picture of what he was doing. A job well and quickly done by a team of competent, efficient and tidy workers.
