T.M.West is now one of the oldest plumbing, heating and drainage companies in Leeds. We still have the same ethos and values today that we instilled in the company over a hundred years ago. We are still a family run firm that pride ourselves on value for money, traditional craftsmanship combined with the latest technology, thus enabling our company to offer our customers the very best experience in quality, workmanship and price. Being a privately owned family firm we are small enough to ‘care’ and large enough to respond to “on demand service”, whether it’s a faulty flush, blocked toilet, dripping tap, full bathroom suite, replacement boiler or even a full heating system. We are there to help and advise.

What a wonderful company! Right from the off I was very impressed. Martin came round to see what I needed doing – a new shower/tiling/bath panels/gas fire installation and gas safety checks. He was on time and a really affable chap. Martin sent me the quote promptly and it was a very competitive price, much better than others I had obtained. After this was accepted the job was booked in. Graham – the plumber assigned to this massive task – was a pleasure to have around (my two children still ask about him!). The job was done brilliantly and even though a number of hitches emerged when the old fire came out, Graham always had the solution. Thanks ever so much, TM West, I’ll certainly be using you again

After using TM West for more than 10 years. I was absolutely disgusted by how they treated me. I had issues with a boiler which went on for over a year, I had 3 different plumbers from TM West come out to look at it and each one gave me a different diagnosis. I spent nearly £600 with them on repairs that didn't fix the problem, then finally the last repair they did caused my boiler to explode. I was left having to spend another £2000 on a new boiler. When I rang up to complain the boss John Ambler put the phone down on me. Do not use this company, I don't think they don't care about their customers.

I used this company to for two jobs at my elderly mother???s home in the past three weeks. They serviced her gas fire and replaced some basin and sink taps. They attended both jobs at the agreed time after setting we set a time to suit with my requirements, they even telephoning ahead on the day. The plumber was professionals, explained the job, talked through problems offered advice. All things that are so often missing when tradesmen do a job. I really could not have asked for a more professional service. Highly recommended. I would definitely use them again

I was extremely impressed by Mark who installed my Heat Genius system for me. TM West were the installers for the system and I think that they did a really good job. They were tidy, polite and really knew what they were doing. I also asked TM West to change my boiler for me, and they quoted me a much better price than I got from another company locally, and they really knew what they were talking about when it comes to Baxi Boilers. I would always prefer to go for a bigger company as they have a reputation to uphold, and I could not recommend these people more highly. I am really really impressed with how tidy they were and the new boiler has been working a dream since! Thank you Mark, great job well done!

Very disappointed. Our boiler started playing up at the beginning of the week and so I booked an engineer to come out on Thursday 18 December. I had managed to keep the boiler going and the house was warm and we had hot water. He came in started to examine the parts of the boiler to see what was wrong, when he finished we had no heating. I explained that it was our only heating but he left saying we needed a new boiler and would get someone to send us a quote. Not long after he left the hot water stopped. I telephoned their office who said they would contact him and get back to me. The only thing I heard was when I was emailed a quote the following afternoon. I had them the previous year to repair the boiler and initially was pleased and got them back to service the boiler but I don't think their engineer had as when I saw it on 18 December it was full of dust and debris. Very disappointed won't be using them again.

I had a faulty boiler last year over the winter which they fixed with minimal fuss and for a good price. Very professional from my first phone call to turning up when they said they would, to tidying up after the job. Would definitely use them again and happy to recommend them to other people on this site.

Wests have just fitted a new shower and basin in my en suite; the work was carried out by Will, who was very effiecient. Wests gave an excellant service, came on time and carried out the work with the minimum of mess. The price was reasonable, and I would reccommend them to other customers. Alison P

Attended to rectify hot water failure on the same day my call was made to the company. Reassuringly professional and reliable, so much so that I subsequently use them for boiler servicing. Their staff explain the work that they undertake in plain terms, and provide helpful advice for efficient use of heating.
