I am one of the disappointed customers, on the 31st of July 2017, Taha removals met me at my newly refurbished period property. The first item in to my new home was the fridge/freezer. That was the beginning of my horror, as the removal men dragged my Bosch fridge/freezer across my newly laid flooring. Rip went the floor covering, as I shouted "Stop you're ripping the floor". two large gashes in the flooring. I immediately called the Taha office to report the damage and sent images, via my phone of the kitchen flooring. They assured me it would be covered by the insurance of £50,000.00 to cover any damaged incurred during their service. I was also requested not to upset the delivery men as "they know what they're doing" and he didn't want them (the removal men) to react badly to my displeasure? Hello who's the customer here? I have been in contact with Taha since this happened on the 31st July and all they have offered me £50.00 for repairs. They say AXA their insurance company will not pay to replace the flooring. Taha say the damage "isn't that bad". I disagree, I went with this company on the understanding that ANY damage would be addressed satisfactorily and covered by insurance. Within 10 mins of my complaint, they were on the phone requesting my payment in full. which I made in good faith as they still had 2/3's of my home contents in their vans. I was not expecting this fiasco and drawn out wrangle. I don't want to stick the rips down, I want the floor cover replaced!!
