Liam responded to my initial online enquiry promptly and phoned me within a couple of hours to book an appointment to come round the following week - I hadn't expected such a quick response on a Saturday. Liam spent about two hours at our house, he diagnosed penetrating damp through an outside wall and the advice given all made sense. Unfortunately the remedial work required is not the type of work that he undertakes, but we are very pleased that he took the time to come out and provide us with a solution that we can take forward. Most importantly he did not try to sell us a remedial damp proofing course as that is unnecessary, and would not have fixed our problem.

I had rising and penetrating damp in my living room. Thornhill Damp were very professional and dealt with it quickly . Workers were very polite, arrived on time, kept the working environment clean and tidy, took measures to prevent dust spreading and the finished re plastering looks great and has dried out well.

Liam removed all wet parts of the wall and replaced them with a few layers of damp proofing material. The wall was then plastered. He also fixed our gutter and did work outside the house to protect the wall from the other side. Liam came on time and started work straight away. He left the house clean. I highly recommend Thornhill Dampproof services.
