Upson Plumbing and Heating is a local, independent and family run business. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and our customer service.
We offer a fully qualified plumbing and heating service covering West and Central Lancashire. From dripping taps to full bathroom installations, leaking radiator valves to the installation of designer radiators and boiler breakdowns to full boiler installations - we cater to all of our customers’ needs.
Our customers can have added piece of mind with the knowledge that we are on the Gas Safe Register and have full public liability insurance.
Upson Plumbing and Heating is also a Worcester Accredited installer having completed Worcester run training courses on their boilers. This allows us to offer extended manufacturers warranties of up to 12 years depending on the model and accessories.

Ben Upson is an excellent local plumber. I have used him for plumbing installations in my own home as well as for a local housing charity of thirteen homes. Ben provides a first class service, on time and to a preset budget. He also responds to emergencies at short notice providing a much needed service to vulnerable residents in the charity housing sector. He is able to work independently and also interacting with other contractors on larger projects. On one occasion when we had an emergency and he was unable to respond, he liaised with a colleague who provided a quality emergency response. I have no hesitation in recommending his workmanship and I will continue to use him in the future.

Ben has completed the re-plumbing of our new kitchen, utility room and relocated central heating pipes to fit around new kitchen cupboards. I have been very impressed with the high quality of workmanship and his willingness to address different issues at different stages of our rebuild. He is prompt and has attended as booked. He's also advised on what plumbing needed to be done as part of the rebuild. I highly commend him and will definitely use his services again if required.

Ben arrived on time and on the agreed date to quote for several jobs, for a part single part double extension plumbing jobs. The work required were extensive including creating new WC downstairs, new bathrooms for ensuite in the new extension, as well as ripping old bathrooms and refitting a new bathroom. Ben also took the responsibility of changing radiators in all rooms , gas connection for kitchen and chasing water metres for relocations. Ben has completed all 1st and 2nd fix of all plumbing jobs for the extension and existing house. The work needed a tremendous effort and time , and he had managed it well. In my experience Ben has pride in his work and the quality of work has been to my satisfaction. Since then, Ben has also been commissioned to carry out work at my in-laws,which is to refit and renovate the complete bathroom. All in all , I would highly recommend his service for small and big projects.

Ben fitted a sink for us recently, this is the second time he has done work for us the first was to instal a replacement boiler. Both times he has been very professional and completed the work to a very high standard. I would highly recommend Ben for all aspects of plumbing.

Ben was quick to respond to a fairly urgent request for a change of kitchen tap due to a leak that we had with the existing tap. Ben gave me the option of sourcing the tap myself or he was happy to get one from his supplier on a description I gave him. As he was the property I also asked Ben if he could sort a hot outside water tap for my dog which he was happy to accommodate. Ben did a great job and was very friendly. Would definitely use his services again.

Upson stripped out and replaced a bathroom, including toilet, double basin, freestanding bath and shower. Created a downstairs toilet in an under stairs space, removed an old boiler and fitted a new boiler, removed all 8 radiators and replaced them with new, installed a new mains water supply and removed old lead pipe connection from common supply. Workmanship was exemplary, tradesman were always professional and consistent and Ben Upson was spot on with quotes and a pleasure to deal with, we would not hesitate to use Upson again.
