Vlad and his team did an excellent job of replacing our kitchen worktops and installing a new sink and tap. The quality of their work was very high, and Vlad was very helpful and responsive throughout the process, from making helpful suggestions when planning the work and quoting for it to dealing with any problems that came up throughout (e.g. we discovered some problems with the existing plumbing that they fixed in the course of doing the work). The cost of the work was exactly as quoted, and I appreciated them keeping the project to budget even with some of the unexpected things that came up. We're really delighted with the results, and I would highly recommend their work.

Vlad and his team have recently refitted my kitchen. Vlad was helpful and constructive in his advice. His guys arrived reliably at an ungodly hour of the morning, worked through to at least 5 o-clock six days a week, and were always cheerful. Vlad himself turned up regularly to check, advise and solve any problems. There were a couple of minor issues after completion, but I just told Vlad about them and he got them sorted asap. I have just asked him to quote for refitting my bathroom, and would cheerfully recommend him and his team.

Other Trusted Traders either said it couldn't be done or didn't quote or told me the bathroom had to be a design completely different to how I wanted it. Vlad created my vision: a very small but perfect and beautiful bathroom from what was an old airing cupboard. The room has a basin, toilet, macerator, electric shower, storage cupboard and towel radiator - my friends and family cannot believe how spacious the room feels when it contains so much (and it is only 1.99 m x 1.2 m). It's absolutely perfect and - even a month later - I have to pinch myself to believe this beautiful room is real. There were one or two hitches along the way - discovered the towel radiator was coming from Italy (3 week wait) and the original electric distribution board would not power the new shower so had to be replaced, but nothing was too much trouble for Vlad. I consider I have very high standards: Vlad and his team have more than met those standards and his mantra: "I'm not happy unless you are happy" and understanding that I wanted everything to be perfect, meant he was a joy to work with. Highly recommended.

Vlad and his team undertook a garage refurbishment for us and general refurbishment of our new home. The team were always punctual, polite and reliable and we are extremely happy with the standard of the work completed which came in on budget and in accordance with the original quote which was detailed and thorough. Vlad and his team were always happy to find solutions for any problems that arose and gave good sound advice when appropriate. We will look forward to working with them again on any projects we under take whether big or small. And have already personally recommended them to family and friends.

Vlad and his team undertook a complete re-fit of my kitchen early last year. This included full re-decoration and replacement of wiring and light fittings. The work was done to a very high standard, including working weekends to get things done quicker. They have been back several times to do odd jobs since, and are always extremely helpful. I will always use them as first choice in future, and will recommend them to any friends or family who need work doing around their homes.

I would like to highly recommend the work Vlad and his team did in our top floor bathroom. We had a big problem with a leak under the shower tray and Vlad was able to resolve it and also came up with an even better design transforming our bathroom - which had become a little tired - into a very stylish and user friendly wet room. He was on schedule, on budget and delivered a high quality finish. I am definitely going to use his services again.

Full bathroom and cloakroom toilet refurbishment (including putting visible pipes behind the walls). Vlad and his team worked hard took no breaks to try help complete the work, even worked late evenings and weekends. They were tidy and ensured they cleaned up the property, were able to help with purchase of items when the items I had purchased were of bad quality importantly was clearly able to be transparent in costs and work being done. It's not easy finding a reliable builder plus the quality of the bathroom was of excellent standards which has been verified by others who have had refurbishments. Vlad and his very hardworking team did an excellent job replacing our old bath with a shower and then generally upgrading the bathroom. They were meticulous workers, particularly with the difficult tiling project, and every evening left their hall work space extremely neat and tidy. We are delighted with the high standard of the end result and have no hesitation in recommending VS Contractors, a firm we would happily use again.
