We asked Andy to come and do a number of electrical jobs in our Victorian terrace house, never the easiest when it comes to renewing/changing anything system wise. He replaced several sockets and light switches with safer and easier to use modern fittings; fitted four entirely new double sockets; sorted out a cabling issue which is now much safer to use; investigated a light which has never worked and solved the problem; fitted a cover to the bathroom fan and advised us on the next job which will be to fit an exterior safety light. We are very pleased with the standard of the work and the minimal impact on decoration etc. He and apprentice Kane did an excellent job of tidying up after themselves and we would not hesitate to use them again in future. In fact they are returning to fit the external safety light.

I am currently looking for an electrician, and went to Which? Trusted Traders. On finding Whiting Electrical Ltd listed, I recalled that I had contacted this firm before. Andrew Whiting (I assume) was surprised to be telephoned, and asked how I had got his number. I got the impression that he had given Which? his home phone number by mistake. However, I went ahead and asked him to contact a tenant of mine about replacing a bathroom ventilation fan. I gave him her phone number, they made an arrangement, and he was never heard from again.

Very happy with the service. Andy came out to the house on the same day to fix a fault and quickly arranged a follow-up call out when it couldn't be fixed on the same day. He and his team were very friendly and kept me informed of what they were doing to fix the issue. Friendly service, tidied up after themselves and fair pricing. Would definitely use again for anything electrical and would recommend to friends.

Andy has just finished doing all the fiddly jobs you need doing when you move into a new house, installing new light fittings, additional plug sockets and some work in the conservatory. He didn’t stop and completed the job ahead of time to a really high standard. Cleaned up all the mess after himself and even endeared himself to the cat. If we have some more work then Andy will be our go to. Can’t rate him highly enough, give him a call!

Andy Whiting of Whiting Electrical fitted a new two socket plug in a bedroom and fixed a new outdoor sensor light. He also stated that he would come back anytime to change the bulb as this requires standing on a ladder and unscrewing the lid. He was extremely efficient and very pleasant and couldn't do enough for us. He even screwed on an outdoor letter plate for us and didn't charge for the extra work. His costs were reasonable too. I can highly recommend him and will definitely use him again when the need arises.

We just had some garden lights put in by this company , they did a great job, worked efficiently and tidied up leaving no mess at all. The price was fair also , A job well done.
