Welcome to APG Domestic Services Ltd. We have been providing reliable heating, plumbing and electrical services for over 22 years for customers in Lancashire.

We are proud that our customers regularly tell us that we are a reliable and trustworthy company.

Our business has been built on recommendations. It’s the reason that we now have a team of 27 employees all trained to the highest standards. This means we are always able to give priority to emergency calls. Although to us, every call is a priority.

An old boiler was removed with all the work that entailed in the process. In addition, a new digital electric fire was placed in the fireplace with the engineer creating a feature surrounding it, to make it look aesthetically pleasing. All the old boiler components and other sundries were removed by APG within a short space of time after removal. Finally APG’s electrical team came to connect up the digital fire to the main electric supply in the house. Overall the work was well coordinated by three different teams in APG, I was very satisfied with the work completed. I appreciate the corporate ethos of APG.

After getting quotes from other traders I settled on APG because they were competitive and Chris’s initial survey was done so professionally and thoroughly. I am so pleased that I did. Harry, James and George arrived promptly and were friendly, polite and super efficient. They kept me informed throughout and made sure that I wasn’t left without heating or hot water for any length of time. The new boiler was fitted into a side outhouse very neatly and my old boiler was removed from the loft without creating any mess. They removed the old flue from the roof and re-tiled the gap, removed surplus pipes from the gable wall and left everywhere clean and tidy. Excellent service! Thank you!

I booked a service appointment with APG and was given a time for the job which suited me. The service engineer, Jimmy, arrived promptly at the specified time and he had a very friendly approach and asked me if I had any problems/faults with the boiler. I told him I was very pleased with the boiler performance and it operated exactly to my requirements. Jimmy explained what he was doing in reply to my questions and overall he was very polite and friendly. He finished the service and completed the details of the service in the Owners Manual for future reference. I find dealing with APG is very good and they provide an excellent service and would recommend them with confidence.

We had Muz out for a boiler service yesterday. He is very professional and has so much knowledge. Gave us some tips for our water usage and how to adjust the thermostat for the hot water but also gave us his honest opinion regarding monthly costs. Very friendly and efficient. Also when calling to make appts the team at APG are also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Rang this morning 22/01/2024 regarding our central heating boiler pressure loss, was given a same day appointment (there had been a cancellation) , the engineer arrived early in the time slot given, quickly diagnosed the fault (expansion vessel) rectified the fault and explained everything , excellent customer service , thank you !

A new combi boiler was required due to leakage. James arrived at the time given and took great care to protect all carpets and floor covering before starting work. He talked through what the job would involve before turning off the gas and water. The work then proceeded smoothly and quietly and the heat was back on by lunch time. He then explained exactly how the controls worked and made sure that I was satisfied with everything. A good job, well done. I can highly recommend APG.

Leaking Radiator at Xmas

Early evening, Xmas Eve as a consequence of retrieving a mobile phone that had fallen behind a radiator, water was escaping from the radiator, which was subsequently loose from its brackets! APG service our boiler. They were able to get one of their Engineers to call round to sort the emergency, stopping the leak within some 30 minutes of me, contacting them, and to return after the holiday break to properly refix the radiator on its brackets. Very thankful for their great service - and probably saving Xmas! Stephen Crookes

Replacement central heating boiler and cistern, clear quotes at a range of price points, neat, tidy work done with care and attention to detail. Well presented, polite, helpful and knowledgable staff. We were happy to take out their after care service and annual check. Solar panels, battery and convertor which required a inset circuit board upgrade, further complicated by the original builders cementing in the wiring. Despite the challenges the work was done neatly and carefully. The area was left clean and tidy. From quote to completion they have been available to answer any queries in a helpful and professional capacity, work carried out on budget and in a timely fashion. Excellent value for money, would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I contacted APG to request a quote for a new boiler, to remove a radiator and move another and add valves to the existing radiators. Chris came out and gave us a couple of quotes for an expensive option and budget. No pressure to go with either and was impressed with his knowledge. We arranged the work and Harry and George did an excellent job of the fitting. They worked to timescales, left everything neat and tidy and were very polite. Harry phoned to give us an update at the end of each day. Can’t fault the service.

I would highly recommend this company. I contacted them to get a new quote for a boiler replacement after my current boiler maintenance company (Your Repair) stated that the boiler was beyond economic repair. Chris came to do the quote and after a quick look said he thought it could be repaired. He contacted one of the service engineers who arrived next day and said that a valve needed replacing. I got a price for this same day gave go ahead and work done next day. Happy customer. Will definitely use this company to replace the boiler when it needs to be done.
