Never used Which? Trusted Traders before. Found Andrew Farkas, and liked the reviews, he was immediately very responsive, quick to visit and provide a quote, very communicative and Patrick (who did the decorating) was a real delight, so charming, polite, careful and tidy. Andrew Farkas Ltd carried out repairs to garage doors and a side gate. The firm also painted the outside of the house. The work was carried out very efficiently and to a high standard. The workmen tidied up neatly afterwards. The work was completed on schedule and to the agreed budget. The team were helpful throughout and Andrew gave me good advice as to what work needed doing. I'm delighted with the result. Strongly recommended.

Andrew came and gave us an estimate for a variety of jobs. We chose 2 that were urgent and booked a date. Due to ill health, we had to change the date--no problem. After a change of heart, we called Andrew and said we only need one job done, a peeling, unsightly bathroom ceiling. Andrew willingly accepted our decision, reviewed the estimate downwards, and the work was efficiently carried out this morning. Delighted with the result. Great care was taken to protect the fittings and even used the machine to clear up the bits too small to go in a plastic bag. I have no hesitation in recommending this firm.

This firm renovated a bedroom for my elderly mother. The work itself was excellent and good value for money, and I found them very easy to deal with: scrupulous, courteous, considerate. I'd definitely use them again!

We asked Andrew and his team to completely prepare, line and paint the walls, ceilings and woodwork for four rooms in our house. This included filling of bonded channels after a full rewire, plus final plastering of some cracks and holes throughout. The job was finished in six days - a day ahead of schedule. Andrew and his two painters were really easy to work with - nothing was an issue, communication was great, and they were always friendly. They worked unsupervised in our house - putting down dustsheets and keeping everything tidy. The quality of the work was very high - the rooms are completely revitalised and we'll definitely consider them when we decorate the next part of the house. Would strongly recommend.

After visiting Which? Trusted Traders for advice and recommendations, I rang Andrew Farkas to enquire about the decorating that needed doing in my Flat. He was very polite and helpful and, because the coronavirus was restricting visits at the time, I sent him photos of the three rooms for his consideration. I received an estimate shortly afterwards, and I was pleased to accept it. The work was carried out to the highest standard and I was delighted by it. His team were quick and highly efficient and, painting unattended in my Flat, they were scrupulously honest and trustworthy. I will be inviting them back again next year to decorate my living room which now needs doing. Andrew and his team were a pleasure to deal with, helpful and respectful, and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

We had our dining room decorated by Andrew's team and are very happy with the work done. Everything went smoothly and to schedule. Communication with Andrew was very easy. The two decorators were very polite and friendly; their work was of a high standard. Andrew also organised a plumber to remove a very large old radiator prior to the job and then replace it after the painting was finished. We would definitely recommend.

We had three rooms painted and some carpentry to box in a new boiler, and everything was completed to our satisfaction in three and a half days. Our experience was very good, from initial approach to completion of work. The estimated cost and time it would take was accurate and good value - in fact the work was finished half a day earlier than expected. The two painters were considerate, efficient and hard-working. We were very pleased with the results. It is the second time we have used this company.

The work was to decorate the exterior of our house. This was carried out to a very high standard. The team, Sunny and Patrick, arrived early each day and worked steadily to complete the work, no hassle. Excellent communication - Andrew Farkas would let me know evenings what would happen the next day. The job was carried out to budget, 1/2 paid when the job was 1/2 done, the balance on completion. The only thing that went "wrong" was that the replacement downpipe was installed so that I couldn't remove the drain grid for cleaning or rodding the drain, should that be necessary. Andrew had that sorted out within a couple of days, so the problem was quickly resolved. I am happy to give Andrew Farkas top marks.
