Fabulous advice & service from the team at Grantham Computer Centre. Rather than just fixing my broken screen which would have been quick & easy , they took the time to look at the options available & discuss what would be the best solution for what I needed.

On outlining the complaint possible causes and costs were explained. The staff were very good and very quick!

Very good, helpful service to change my laptop battery. So accommodating figuring out the best time to do this so I didn't have to miss any time working. Really swift service and great value.

The HP laptop was running very slowly, often taking several minutes to "start up" It has been out of use and not been updated since 2020. Ian, at Grantham Computer Centre, swapped the old hard-drive for a new SSD drive. He did the job with a week and for a reasonable price. The HP laptop now opens in a few seconds. I am delighted with the outcome of Ian's work!

I have used Grantham Computer Centre for my IT needs over the years and used them recently for a service. As always the options and expectations were explained to me beforehand. The task was completed as described for a reasonable price and in a timely manner. I know very little about computers, so when I needed a new one for university I wanted to buy it from somewhere that would explain what all the jargon meant and wouldn't try to sell me the one with most commission. Grantham computers answered all my questions and seemed very honest. So, when after a lot of use and many years later the computer died, Grantham computers were my first choice. I was expecting to have to buy a new computer but the told me they could fix it a lot cheaper and it would be as good as new. Guess what? This is exactly what they did, saving me a fortune! I would highly recommend this shop and will definitely go back again.

I went to GCC expecting to buy a new laptop but they advised an upgrade would be better value for money and bring my laptop up to date with Win 10 etc. Dropped off on Tue, received a text on Fri evening to say it was ready and collected on Sat. Clearly explained what had been done and when I got home the laptop was as new. No unnecessary upselling or pressure.

i thought i needed a new lap top and visited to check on options, i was delighted to accept their suggestion of letting them check out my existing machine and maybe change the SSD card. So my laptop, originaly purchased from these guys 7 years ago, now has a new lease of life and i was impressed they did the right thing and focused on solutions and options rather than just get a sale.

i telephoned the company on Thursday afternoon and explained my problems with the computer - too slow, needing updating and had too many useless programmes, and the printer was not operable since I had installed a new router. Ian was most helpful on the phone and explained the various options i.e. discard the old laptop or invest in a new one. Ian then mentioned the cost of each option. There was no pressure to decide at that time. The following morning I visited the shop and had decided to take the option of installing a new hard drive with certain progammes being deleted. 3 days later,which included the weekend I received a call to say the computer was fixed and ready for collection at a slightly lesser price than I had expected. It is working beautifully and my printer is also working well too. Expert advice, efficient friendly service and I highly recommend their services.

I have had our home iMac, our MacBook and now one of my daughters PC laptops hard drives replaced by this centre in the last 12 months. All three had almost ground to a halt leaving us frustrated and annoyed whenever we wished to use any of the devices. On the advice of a friend who had used them himself to replace an iMac hard drive with an SSD unit, I gave them my iMac to sort out. The work was done swiftly and efficiently and the computer was restored to full (much faster) working order instantly. On the back of that work I have since got them to replace the drives in both my MacBook and my daughters laptop with similarly spectacular results. Having thought I would be needing to replace all three devices at some point we now have three first class computers restored to full working order for a fraction of the cost of replacements. The team at the centre are friendly, helpful and resolved any queries swiftly and efficiently, I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

Thee guys are always helpful and cheerful. Explain any problems and answer all questions. Wouldn't take my laptop anywhere else to get . Lockdown was coming but they got my laptop sorted in time for me to collect before we went into lockdown.

My laptop had stopped working and I suspected that the hard drive had crashed so hoping to have it replaced or perhaps to have to buy a new laptop. Was quickly reassured by the very helpful staff that they would be able to replace the hard drive and it would be about a week. Received a text a week later saying my laptop was ready to collect. They had even managed to resurrect all of the data which saved me from having to reload it from the cloud. I thoroughly recommended this business for it's helpfulness and level of expertise in their field. Rich C

Great service from the team at Grantham Computer Centre who serviced and upgraded my workstation ahead of schedule and gave me back a PC that feels as new. Felt a little pricey but happy to pay for a quality service.

Needed a laptop screen replaced, and I was quoted £100 and a week, as it is not a standard-sized screen. Two days later I had a text message saying "job done". Great job, completed well within the stated time scale, and on budget. Thanks to all involved.
