Hi I'm Chris & I own & run OvenFix, a small, specialist electric oven repair company based in Purley, Surrey. I am a fully qualified electrical engineer with over 20 years experience repairing electric ovens & cookers in South London, North Surrey & West Kent.

I found Ovenfix on the Which Trusted Trader site and decided to give it a try. My Zanussi oven element had gone, I rang Chris, he obtained the correct part and repaired my oven next day. He kept me updated via text and arrived at the appointed time. I thought the charge was reasonable plus I got a 24 month guarantee. Would highly recommend.

My Neff oven crashed during cooking. I worked out it might be the heating element but couldn't fix it myself. I've never had anyone fix an oven before so took a chance with Chris based on his positive reviews. He was very efficient, brought the right heating element part, told me what bulb to replace (mine had gone). He kept in touch about arrival via text and came when he said he would. Very quick response indeed and completed the job quickly. Highly recommend him.

Chris had the right part with him, and did exactly what we'd asked - and more! He fitted a replacement bulb we hadn't even mentioned, fixed the oven more securely into its built-in cabinet and gave us helpful advice that another non-essential repair would be very costly - and a handy workaround (switch the broken timer off and on at midnight so it shows the right time!) Chris was on time as arranged, doing the work the day after we phoned. He did the work very efficiently, and swept up to keep the kitchen clean. We paid by card, which was convenient, and received the 2-year warranty by email. Very happy! We'd definitely use Chris again .

Good value for money with no call out or hidden charges. First used Chris to replace a heating element in August 2016. When the oven stopped working again within the 12 month guarantee, Chris was more than happy to return to investigate the problem. It turned out the oven was actually working normally, but the issue was related to the settings used by my tenants. As a gesture of goodwill, Chris did not charge me for this 'investigation'. I would definitely recommend Chris as a trustworthy tradesman.
