Paul Wareing Plumbing and Heating Ltd offers a reliable, affordable and professional service to Colchester and the surrounding areas. We specialise in replacing gas boiler and are Accredited Installers of Worcester Boilers and can therefore provide their 10 and 12 year boiler guarantees.
We offer the full range Plumbing and Heating services from repairing a dripping tap to installing a full central heating system.
The Company was established in 1990 after Paul completed a comprehensive 5 year apprenticeship whilst working for a local plumbing and heating contractor.
We have now employed our youngest son (Matthew) into the business. Matthew is also a fully qualified plumber, and a Gas Safe and OFTEC registered Engineer. He Completed his 4 year, day release apprenticeship at Colchester Institute in 2016 whilst working for the business.
We pride ourselves on the reputation that we have built up as a family run business and appreciate the loyalty shown by our many returning customers.

I have used Paul and Matthew on three occasions prior to my recent installation. A local company with vast experience and knowledge, willing to install a partial bathroom upgrade. Arriving on time, meeting their work schedule & estimate. Both personable and polite explaining the full installation process. Their happy disposition made the whole process a trouble free and stress free experience. I highly recommend this company for their attention to detail in each stage of installation. I was confident to leave them on the second day and lock my front door behind them. Very clean and tidy workmen.

The work was carried out efficiently and the site kept clean and tidy at all times. The contractor was helpful with a few little extras that needed doing and went beyond expectations. Also very helpful with instructions in the manuals of operation. Everything was carried out on schedule as agreed in the proposal invoice. After care has been agreed to validate the guarantee.

Replacement boiler and gas pipe replacement
Matt came out to see if he could repair our boiler that had broken down which unfortunately despite changing fuses etc they were unable to do - On agreement to replace the boiler Tracey managed to juggle existing jobs about so we didn't have to wait to long for the work to be done - which was done promptly on the date and time given, unfortunately the work couldn't be signed off as our gas pipes didn't meet current regulatory requirements - again this work was carried out promptly and professionally. The whole team were professional - with excellent communication skills which made me feel confident in the work they carried out I was regularly updated on the work and how it was progressing All work carried out with little disruption to us and left the house tidy and clean with no evidence of them being here apart from the greatly improved heating and hot water.

After our initial online enquiry we received a call from Tracey straight away to arrange for Paul to visit to price the job. A detailed quotation was received very promptly, and once we'd accepted she called to agree the installation date and told us who would be coming and what to expect. Paul and Norman arrived on time, and were courteous, polite and cheery. They clearly have a great working relationship, joshing with each other all the time, but most importantly they were very efficient and tidy. The new boiler was working by mid-afternoon, and the heating and hot water systems were thoroughly tested before they left. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Paul and his team to anyone.

As a trusted Heating Engineer and Plumber I engaged Paul to replace my Gas Boiler. He and his colleague arrived promptly on the scheduled day and over the next day and a half carried out the work with professionalism and efficiency.
