I (Peter Whiting) began working as an electrical apprentice in 1983, this was a full 5 year apprenticeship. On finishing my apprenticeship I set up my own business as a sole trader in 1988. The limited business began trading in June 2002.
The business is family run and some of the electrical services we offer are shown in the details below.
You will see I have many reviews showing despite only being endorsed as a Which? Trusted Trader from April 2018. The reviews I have from before this time are from Which? I had to replace two sockets in the utility room. Peter called 15 minutes before the scheduled time to say he was on his way and conducted the work very effectively, and at a reasonable cost. He left the job clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Peter for all electrical works.

I had a problem with flickering down lighters. I was concerned it was some sort of loose connection and potentially dangerous. Peter had previously done work for us and I called him, explained the problem and he was able to get to us the same day. He conducted a thorough investigation, found and rectified the fault which was a loose connection in the loft. His friendly attentive service is excellent and I wouldn't hesitate recommending his service.

We awoke to no electricity downstairs and traced the issue to all sockets in 4 rooms. We found Peter Whiting on Which Trusted trader and called him. He was on another job but promised to come before the day was out. He arrived around 4 pm, traced the problem, explained the issue and his solution and left with power restored. Peter kept me informed of the cost during the job so there were no shocks when the invoice arrived. He is a pleasure to deal with and we are very thankful to him for his prompt attention.

Peter was already known to us because he has done work in our development. We therefore had no hesitation in asking him to install security lighting for us on a personal basis.
