Tincknells serves customers across Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, Avon and south Gloucestershire. It’s already a well-known name in the South West, with a great reputation for integrity and customer service. Company director Rob Ormond and heating services manager Richard Beck both emphasise that Tincknells is a ‘modest’ company, concerned more with providing a good service than making a fuss about it. But its recent win could change all that.

Tincknell Heating Services is one wing of the long-established fuel business, Tincknell Fuels. ‘It’s a win for the industry,’ said Rob Ormond. ‘The fuel industry, which we’re part of, doesn’t always get the best press, but this is a really positive step.’
Winning the Which? Trusted trader of the year award and being elevated above the thousands of other businesses on the Which? Trusted Traders scheme means a lot to the company. But it’s adamant that this won’t change the way it works.

Tincknells carried out an excellent job fitting our new boiler. They were tidy and polite and we now have a wonderfully warm house. Our only downside was having to wait a few weeks before they could start - but this is no doubt proof of what a great service they offer - they were fully booked by other customers.

We always try our best if there is some urgency on installing a new boiler to provide a quick turn-around. During bad weather periods this can be difficult as a lot of customers are unfortunately in the same situation but we certainly do our best to fulfil all expectations. We were very impressed by the standard of work by Tincknells. At all times (quote & work) the team were punctual, stayed the entire day and finished the job in the predicted time. All the team were polite, tidy and went out of their way to reduce disruption. We would definitely recommend Tincknells and the unexpected flowers were a very nice touch.

From start to finish the job was handled efficiently and courteously. Any queries were dealt with professionally. The fitters (Lee and James) were respectful and of my home and left leaving it clean and tidy. Surveyed and installed by Lee Tidball. Would recommend.

Excellent. They attended quickly when our old oil tank was found to be leaking, were imaginative and helpful in working at a solution, and booked us in only a few days later. The work on site was completed neatly, on time and pleasantly.

Following the fatal breakdown with our old boiler, Tincknells acted promptly & pulled out all the stops to get a new boiler installed. At one time we had 5 engineers working at the same time. Excellent staff both office & field. Will continue to use them from now on. Well done all.
