What is it?

It’s a compact, lightweight laptop from Samsung, with an 11.6-inch display, a dual-core Intel Celeron N4500 processor, 4GB of Ram and a 64GB storage drive with 46GB free for personal files and apps.

It’s not the beefiest of specs, but this laptop is a Chromebook – meaning it runs ChromeOS rather than Windows 11. Google’s operating system is a lot less resource hungry than Microsoft’s, making it suitable for lower-powered hardware, like this model. This model features two USB ports in total: a USB-C port (which also acts as the connection for charging and running the laptop off the mains) and a full-size USB 3.2 port. A built-in micro-SD card reader offers a handy way for slotting in more storage, when needed. And there’s a standard 3.5mm jack for plugging in wired headphones and/or a microphone. It’s a somewhat limited selection of connections, but they are at least comfortably spaced apart. Fast WiFi 6-compatible wi-fi and Bluetooth provide wireless connectivity.

Portability is this laptop’s big advantage. Its smaller screen size and very manageable weight (1.07kg) make it one to consider if you’re on the lookout for a backpack or briefcase-friendly device.
