Although none have yet been poor enough to be Don't Buys, some models failed to impress in our tests.
So far, we haven't tested any laser models as they're mainly aimed at businesses.

Epson’s biggest-selling range of inkjets is its Expression line, coming in Home, Photo and Premium varieties.
Head to our Epson printer reviews to find the right model for you.
Either branded as EcoTank or with the Expression name, these printers come with a claimed two years’ worth of ink in the box. Instead of buying new cartridges, you refill the black or colour tanks with the supplied bottles when required.
Although you might pay more than £300 to buy an EcoTank printer, it should save you money in the long term. We've found several great EcoTank printers that cost very little to run, although not all of them impress for print quality – so make sure you check our Epson printer reviews before you buy.
As the name suggests, Epson’s WorkForce range is aimed more at home office and business users. Alongside WorkForce inkjet printers, there are laser models in the range.
Although you can get reasonably priced WorkForce printers, they tend to be expensive to buy, particularly the WorkForce Pro models.
This range targets multiple audiences. Stylus Photo are photo printers, whereas Stylus Office are more geared towards productivity.
Looking for a new printer? Keep your costs down by choosing one of our Eco Buy printers.
Original-brand cartridges can be expensive, and many consumers would rather use third-party inks. But from our surveys, we know that many of you are worried about third-party cartridges not working in your printer.
We asked Epson in June 2023 whether any of its printer models actively prevent the use of third-party inks. Epson warned against using third-party inks in its printers but said that it doesn't prevent you using them, either when you buy the printer or through firmware updates.
Third-party ink brands consistently outperform original brands in our annual survey – customers are pleased with their good print quality and fantastic value for money.
