Had my boiler serviced by 1st Call Gas Services. The engineer was due at 8 a.m. and arrived exactly on time. He was tidy, efficient and everything was completed on schedule with the previously agreed price. The same company fitted the boiler a year ago and did a great job.

1st Call Gas Services fitted a new boiler for me 5 years ago. I have it serviced by 1st Call annually and have always been very satisfied with the service I receive. I get an email reminder and call them to arrange a date. The engineer calls to let me know the time of arrival and they are always friendly, professional and clean, giving advice if necessary. I would highly recommend this company.

Friendly pleasant guy, respected my property . I missed him first time he called as on phone and didn't notice . Rang him back and he came back was still pleasant even though I'd caused him extra wasted time.

We have been with 1st Call Gas since we had a new boiler installed in 2020. We have found the personnel to be very professional, good time keepers and very helpful. Prices seem to be fair for both parties. Booking is also efficient so we give them outstanding service all round.

I decided to give 1st Call Gas a call, as I couldn't get any hot water or my heating to work. The office staff understood that this was urgent with the cold weather setting in, so she arranged for a plumber to come to mine ASAP. We arranged a suitable time and date (it could've been that same day). The plumber assessed the situation and weighed up the options to me. He was very knowledgable and from his facts, it was clear I definitely needed a new boiler. The next day, two more plumbers arrived, ready to take the old boiler out and replace it with a new one. They kept my house clean and tidy and took all the rubbish away, including the old boiler. All the staff were polite, professional and helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if I need in the future. It is such a peace of mind knowing the people working in your home, just want to do the best job possible in an honest way. I would definitely recommend the company to others!

This was the first service on my boiler which was supplied and fitted by 1st Call a year ago. The appointment was originally booked for the following day but I had a call from the engineer, who had had a cancellation, asking if I would like the service that day. I was home so it suited me to get it done. He was very efficient, polite and friendly. It didn't take long to check the boiler, everything was working fine, which was expected due to it's age. He didn't check the radiators as the engineer has in previous services on my old boiler, but he said he had switched the heating on briefly to test it. I'm confident that everything will work fine when the weather gets cold. I was advised of the cost (£90) when I booked the appointment and was a bit surprised as previously I have paid much less for services from other companies which included a check of every radiator. However, it will be 2 years since I had to have a boiler serviced and I appreciate that the price of everything has increased in that time. All in all I'm satisfied with the work.

Since we have dealt with First Call gas, they have always been consistent with good service from the booking of the visit, the courtesy and efficiency of the engineer and the honesty about our appliance.

Would recommend this company. The gentleman who attended to service our boiler was courteous and did a good job. He arrived on time and left the boiler area clean and tidy.

I've used First Call Gas for a couple of years for the servicing of my boiler. They also fitted smart devices/controllers to my existing system. I find that they are reliable and provide a good service.

The engineer, David Cameron, called beforehand to confirm the date and start time, plus the name of the boiler in question. After a quick call to check the address - it was his & the company's first visit - and parking, he started work immediately. He worked quietly and thoroughly throughout his visit, finishing by checking all the central heating radiators as requested. He then took time to answer my queries clearly and concisely. He gave me advice on the probable life expectancy of the present boiler - not very long! - and the costs of a new boiler. This advice seemed again clear, informed, and sensible.

Was able to get an appointment really quickly, and they responded promptly, even when I couldn't get back to them for 4 days due to work. The engineer was knowledgeable and patient with my lack of any gas knowledge, haha, and even managed to lower my price when the job wasn't as big as expected. Highly recommend.

Thank you for sending Kyle out to look at my broken toilet cistern. It was clearly a demanding job. He worked very hard for a few hours and the toilet is now working again.

An excellent example of an increasingly rare experience! A company which obviously strives to provide an excellent professional service at a reasonable price. Customer service staff and engineers were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable with the obvious intention of providing a service to the highest level. Boiler service undertaken around my working hours. As I work 08:00-16:00, Monday-Friday, I was struggling to arrange a time to have this done. Arrangements were made for the engineer to attend at 07:45, prior to me leaving for work. I was called by the engineer the evening prior to the service to ascertain that this was still convenient. A superb service that I will be recommending to friends and family.

I contacted 1st call gas services as my boiler appeared to be broken. They sent an engineer the same day who quickly diagnosed that the boiler was fine but that our gas meter was broken. They suggested I ask the energy company for a reimbursement of my costs and supported me by quickly providing a receipt and engineers report. The engineer was knowledgeable and polite, I will definitely use this company again.

1st Call Gas services upgraded our heating system in 2021 (New boiler, pump, convert system from gravity to pressurised, new radiators, smart heating system, removed old hot water tank, tidy up pipework). I have used them ever since for boiler servicing and general plumbing jobs like plumbing in a washing machine and fixing a leaky pipe. They are very professional with a local office and staff who answer the phone and schedule appointments, you don't have to chase people on their mobiles. The engineer calls when he is on his way and I have always been very happy with their work. I thoroughly recommend 1st Call Gas services.

We’ve used 1st Call Gas for nine years now and highly recommend them. Most recently we’ve had a complete system overhaul. New boiler, pump zone valves, expansion vessels etc. you name it, we’ve had it fitted. Our engineers were Billy and Joel and they were a pleasure to have in the house. Their quality of work and attention to detail is unbelievable. Our boiler cupboard looks like a work of art! They exceeded our expectations in spectacular fashion! Thank you, Billy and Joel! Rang with a leak from my boiler . They came within a couple of hours. The guy who has been before instantly knew the problem. Changed the parts, did my service . Great guy , great service very professional company. Cannot recommend higher
