Was desperate for a plumber due to every toilet breaking in our new build at Christmas. Contacted 1st Call Gas as they came recommended by my dad. The call handler was very polite and helpfully gave me all the information and potential costs upfront. Kyle was the engineer assigned to attend on Christmas Eve and he turned up with a phone call beforehand to let me know he was arriving. Excellent service by Kyle who communicated exactly what needed doing, how long it would take and the costs. Kyle resolved a potential nightmare at Christmas with little fuss. 1st Call Gas come highly recommended and I’ll be using them again! Thanks again Kyle!

I received an email to let me know when the boiler service was due. This is very helpful and was booked in with no fuss. David visited on the 16th of January to service our boiler. He carried out the service and informed us of what he had done before he left. He is always very polite and efficient. He rang to let us know when he was on his way. I Applied for full cover for my plumbing a central heating boiler with 1st Call, Damon called round to carry out an initial inspection, called first to let me know when to expect him and arrived right on time. I already use 1st Call to look after my central heating at another property so I was aware of their excellent service. In this case I needed an EPC for my home, the representative was punctual, friendly, professional and efficient. He moved swiftly through the house taking measurements and importantly neither tried to sell me anything nor talk to me like an idiot (both important factors for me when dealing with tradespeople). The cost for the service was appropriate and good value and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for similar work.

We’ve had 1st Call Gas on many of our projects over the years so when it came to swapping our own gas boiler for an air-source heat pump we had no decision to make. Dave sorted the whole process out for us including BUS grant application, Billy and Danny did the work and the whole thing was completed neatly in a few days exactly when they said they would, within the budget given. A great service and would happily recommend them to anybody at all. Thanks to all the team there

Engineers Luke and Aaron and apprentice Theo arrived on time. I was expecting a full repipe to the central heating system. Went above and beyond in locating the leak (despite it being in an awkward place). This meant a full repipe was not needed and I have since received a refund. Very happy with service provided and work done. Happy to recommend 1st Call Gas.

We’ve used 1st Call Gas for nine years now and highly recommend them. Most recently we’ve had a complete system overhaul. New boiler, pump zone valves, expansion vessels etc. you name it, we’ve had it fitted. Our engineers were Billy and Joel and they were a pleasure to have in the house. 1st Call Gas services upgraded our heating system in 2021 (New boiler, pump, convert system from gravity to pressurised, new radiators, smart heating system, removed old hot water tank, tidy up pipework). I have used them ever since for boiler servicing and general plumbing jobs like plumbing in a washing machine and fixing a leaky pipe. They are very professional with a local office and staff who answer the phone and schedule appointments, you don't have to chase people on their mobiles. The engineer calls when he is on his way and I have always been very happy with their work. I thoroughly recommend 1st Call Gas services.

I contacted 1st call gas services as my boiler appeared to be broken. They sent an engineer the same day who quickly diagnosed that the boiler was fine but that our gas meter was broken. They suggested I ask the energy company for a reimbursement of my costs and supported me by quickly providing a receipt and engineers report. The engineer was knowledgeable and polite, I will definitely use this company again.

Boiler service undertaken around my working hours. As I work 08:00-16:00, Monday-Friday, I was struggling to arrange a time to have this done. Arrangements were made for the engineer to attend at 07:45, prior to me leaving for work. I was called by the engineer the evening prior to the service to ascertain that this was still convenient. A superb service that I will be recommending to friends and family.
