1st Call Services is a family owned business with over 20 years experience in the industry. We regard ourselves as being large enough to trust but small enough to care. We serve Essex and surrounding area.
Our core business is in the installation of Boilers and Central Heating Systems. We are proud to be accredited installers for Worcester Bosch Boilers (rated No.1 by Which? for the last 10 years). In 2023 we installed 173 Worcester Bosch boilers. The majority of our customers are private home owners.
Our commitment is to provide all of our customers with a high level of service, whilst providing the best and most efficient solution for their needs, home, budget and the environment.

Had a Worcester bosch Greenstar 28CDi Compact combi-boiler fitted by 1st call services (boiler now pay later) on 14/1/15 as a straight swap. The service received has been superb from start to finish. On the phone he gave me a rough idea of what was needed & a rough price, he was not pushy & left with ME to contact him. He came to quote. After agreeing a price, finance was approved on the spot. David happily arrived on time (despite traffic) on the day arranged, quickly recapped, then I left for work. I arrived home at 2pm Scott & Robin had done a lot. Job was finished at 4.30pm & I was given a demo, & a look at the new boiler. Signed the paper work. I emailed David throughout the process with questions which he answered in extremely good time. The whole process was smooth, not pressured, and quick. David and his team were professional, and know the job well. The outcome? Well the new boiler is brilliant, so quiet compared to the old one I had, heats up the house nice, and the overall finish looks good. I would recommend David and his team, and would use them again in future. See you next year for the service.Thank you and your team.

I needed my boiler replaced and as normal checked with Which to find a good manufacture and Worcester came out best and I am a great fan of Bosch products and always purchase them where possible. So my next step was to find a competent installer and as I have done before used Which Local Trader and picked a local company, 1st Call Services, contacted David and made an appointment for an estimate, for which he was very thorough and described in detail what was required. On the day of installation he was on time, worked hard all day with quite a lot of extra pipework and was completed the same day which did surprise me. He had a polite and friendly attitude and I would recommend 1st Call Services, for any boiler and pluming work you couldn't do better.

I used 1st call to fit an entire heating system in my new house, they were extremely helpful and on the day were very punctual,polite and efficient. They did a great job on fitting everything and the house is lovely and warm. Will definitely use them again and would thoroughly recommend 1st call

I used 1st Call Services recently to service my gas central heating boiler and to fix a leaky shower head. They came when arranged and serviced the boiler for the amount quoted - and fixed the shower head leak by fitting a new washer at no extra charge. I am very happy to recommend 1st Call Services to other Which? Local subscribers.

David fitted a new combi boiler, he had to remove my old back boiler first and fit the new one in the loft which involved a lot of new pipework, I am very pleased with the work done and the polite service, also arrived on time and worked late to get the job finished. I thoroughly recommend him.
