1st Independent came recommended by 2 separate friends and were 1 of 4 quotes that we received. Survey was great with the owner coming out and sharing his extensive knowledge and experience. No hard sell at all. Very competitive quote and those all important recommendations meant with went with this small local company. Really pleased. Windows and new doors look fantastic and come with long guarantees. Installation team were a pleasure to have in the house and really grafted. Kept us updated on progress, what they were doing and when. Really good job with no complaints at all. Plenty of communication from the office too. Had issues with 2 locks which were not quite working as they should and a couple of windows that had imperfections. Installation team highlighted this and arranged replacements immediately. Great standards of attention to detail.

1st Independent Windows replaced my old wooden framed double glazed windows with new uPVC double glazed windows. The new windows look good, and there is a noticeable reduction in traffic noise from the main road. The room feels warmer. I'm very happy with the end result, the overall process from survey to installation, and communication with the company.

I’ve used 1st Independent to replace all my windows and doors during the past ten years. HavIng initially been recommended the company, I now have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to everyone else. Both windows (sash) and doors are of excellent quality and I’ve never experienced any problems.
