I came across this co when they did some work for a neighbour and was very impressed with what I saw and in speaking to the staff. My wooden windows needed replacing, so I spoke to the owner. He gave me very good advice and presented his business very well. I received a very competitive quote, and had 8 windows replaced over 2 days. Despite poor weather, they completed the job without creating any mess, and no internal redecoration was required afterwards. It was a high quality job, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

1st independent windows came to quote and gave a competitive price. What impressed me most was the knowledge shown and willingness to answer all my questions. It was an easy decision to go with them. They lived up to expectation. Communication was excellent. They were on time and friendly, working hard to get the job done. I had a composite front door installed and a upvc with cat flap back door. Both were installed to High standard with beautiful finishing. Lovely team. Would highly recommend them.

I requested four quotes for our new windows, 1st Independent Windows were a recommendation through a local network group. Their price was competitive and Philip was very helpful with the type of windows we wanted, he provided several quotes on several designs. The final product is everything we had hoped for, the windows are top quality and the guys that fitted them were very professional. The fitting service was extremely clean and tidy. I would highly recommend.

A very competitive quote for replacing 2 x large bay windows, side window and installing new French doors. Extremely thorough and professional with no hard sell. Fitting took place over 3 days by two installers who worked non-stop from the minute they arrived. Despite some challenging old Victorian brick-work and non-straight walls, they did a fantastic job, both internally and externally. The finish was excellent and the difference it has made to both the noise level and thermal efficiency is incredible - it made us realise how bad the old windows actually were! Really can't fault the service - the price quoted was exactly what we paid and we're more than pleased with the results. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend 1st independent windows for new window installation. Their quote was very competitive, they were very responsive and helpful (particularly giving us advice about a faulty lock on a UPVc door that saved us having to have it replaced). There were 3 workmen installing 5 windows including 2 bay windows. They arrived promptly, were extremely polite, worked very hard and left no mess. The work was scheduled for 4 days but completed in less than 3 days. Highly recommended as a small family firm.

This is the third time I have used 1st Independent. They have now replaced the front and rear windows with beautiful sash windows, quality brass fittings and locks. They also replaced a patio of patio doors which is no low threshold with clean lines and also brass handles and fittings. They came when they said they would and made a nice job of the fitting. Very pleased.
