I've used 2nd Chances on two occasions. Once to collect a large amount of construction rubbish left by some particularly inconsiderate builders and then to take away a variety of small electrical goods for refurbishment. They are incredibly nice guys. They showed great consideration for my home and made sure that they didn't make a mess in my living room/kitchen. I was extremely impressed by their care, professionalism and follow up. Highly recommended.

This company was recommended to me by the Estate agents dealing with the sale of my late father's property. When I first phoned the company I spoke to a very friendly lady called Hayley who guided me through the process. As requested I took photos of the work to be done so a house visit was not needed. This was good for me as the house is unoccupied and infact is now sold. The quote was very reasonable and I accepted this straight away. I did not bother phoning other businesses for quotes. On the day 2 lads arrived and they were happy to work alone closing the door behind them when they left. The house was left in a neat and tidy condition. A few days later I received an invoice so I did not have to pay upfront. All in all a very good experience and I would strongly recommend to anyone. It is a family run business and it shows in the friendly manner of all the team. A pleasure to do business and if I could give 6 stars I would.

2nd Chances were really great. It was a difficult move, very short notice and Some items initially had to be stored in two different places. We moved from a large house to a small house and the lane to get to the property was very very narrow! In addition to which the garden was hilly! In all it had to be completed using Luton vans and over a period of three days with a gap of a fortnight in between! The movers were lovely, especially Darren, always cheery and willing to help! All of them were polite and helpful. Liam could not have been more helpful in asking the right questions and getting everything organised , especially, as I say at such short notice! I booked 2 weeks in advance agreeing a time and a date and paying the agreed fee in advance. On the day the work was sublet to another van line who were despatched to a wrong address 10 miles away.Seven phone calls and messages initiated by me to resolve the situation resulted in that van eventually arriving at my location 6 hours late. The actual removal of the furniture from the house was careful and respectful and satisfactory. But 6 hours late means I wasted most of my day and had to cancel other appointments.No apology .No explanation.

We would highly recommend 2nd Chances for their excellent work in clearing away a large amount of rubbish left in the front yard of the property. Neighbours had reported seeing rats but this did not deter the company from taking on the job. They were kind and friendly on the phone and nothing was too much trouble. They took before and after photos so we could see the complete transformation of the site and that the work had been done to an excellent standard. We live away from the property, so this was a great reassurance and a delight to us and the neighbours. A huge thank you to the guys at 2nd Chances!
