Aline roofing first completed a job for me around 18 years ago. Since then I have used them on several occasions for various roofing requirements . The latest job in August 2024 was completed to the usual high standard, on time and to the agreed budget.

Luke's survey of the roof clearly identified potential issues, with photographic evidence along with recommended solutions, including options where there could be significant cost savings. After agreeing the scope of the work and start date Luke and his team completed the work as described in the estimate. As the work was carried out some small additional items were identified along with estimates to action. These were agreed before work commenced. They cleared up each evening making the scaffolding secure before leaving. The work was completed quickly, looks good and with no surprises. Luke and his crew did a great job on cleaning and repairing our roof, and were right on schedule throughout both phases of the project. They cleaned up after themselves at intervals which was a pleasant surprise. They handled communication with the neighboring hotel regarding scaffolding and got it removed immediately upon completion of the work. They also cleaned and did minor repair on the rain gutters. We would definitely recommend them for any roofing needs.

Luke responded to my initial enquiry straight away and was round to quote on the agreed day and I received the quote the same week. Due to a leak and a number of slipped/broken tiles I needed a full felt and batten but being an older end terrace I also wanted the tiles to blend in with my neighbours. Luke managed to source some good reclaimed tiles and any new tiles were as close a match as possible and the finished product is exactly what I was hoping for. The price quoted was what I paid and throughout the job the team were happy to answer all my questions and Luke kept me updated throughout. The scaffolding company they use (Access Scaffolding) were also fast, efficient and friendly. I’m happy to recommend and will use again without hesitation.

We contacted Aline on a recommendation from friends as we had a leak coming in. The end cap of the dormer guttering had fallen away and although we are planning more works later in the year, this was a small but urgent job. Luke from Aline came back to us the same day as we contacted him, requested some details and photos from which he gave us a quote. Luke and Phil were able to attend within the week, quickly and competently fixed the gutter and were extremely helpful and polite. They gave advice on the condition of the roof, showed and explained things that were right and wrong with it however no pressure or selling push was made, simply clearly discussed information. I was very impressed with them and will be approaching them for a quote when we can get the other works undertaken.

From my first meeting with Luke, to promptly receiving my quote, to the job being completed quickly, efficiently and to a high standard, I have been very impressed with Aline Roofing. Work was scheduled quickly as the roof was leaking into my bedroom. Scaffolding was erected to the rear of my property, concrete removed and replaced with lead around the chimney and some roof and hip tiles replaced. Luke has subsequently checked with me that all is well after heavy wind and rain.
