The Bristol Van Removals team made our move from Bristol to North Somerset a stress-free, enjoyable experience. I highly recommend the packing service - Jamie and Ben came the day before the move and packed the entire house, labelling boxes so that everything was so easy to find the other end. Then on move day, Ben, Dan, Philip and Andy moved everything out and into the right rooms the other end quickly and efficiently. Both teams were a pleasure to have around. Jamie's packing skills are extraordinary! We used the cleaning team too to make the house was fresh for our buyers and they did a great job, working around the lads doing the moving. Top floor flat, no lift, 60 stairs up, and a ton of furniture and boxes to be moved - then 30 stairs, no lift, at the other end... And Nick, Max, Joe, and Dale made a long, hard day into a smooth, good-humoured and (almost) fun experience. I was impressed at their know-how, pacing themselves with no rushing so no one got injured or slipped or put anything at risk. Likewise, everything, even the most delicate objects, made it over without a scratch or scrape - they just knew what was needed and had enough blankets and protective materials to get it over. The Tetris job in the van was a work of art, likewise the way they got everything into the new flat. Calm n' cool at all times, a pleasure watching skilled professionals at work.

I used Bristol Van Removals last month to complete a house move from Somerset to Bristol. It was a highly challenging and stressful time for us, and every member of the team - office staff as well as those who came to do the packing and the moving - did their absolute best to make the process as easy as it could be. The packing service was brilliant. It was fast and efficient, and not a single item was broken. The removal process was also handled brilliantly, and the team went out of their way to successfully complete a two-stage removal (some items into storage, some into a new house). After the removal, I found that a couple of items that should have gone into the house had ended up in storage by mistake. Rather than just leaving it up to me to go and retrieve them, Bristol Van Removals sent two of the original men who did the packing to meet me at the storage unit and help me find the items, unpacking the storage unit item by item, and then repacking it. Everyone knows how stressful moving can be, but with the help of Bristol Van Removals, this was made infinitely more manageable. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

I was very impressed with the team that moved the contents from my late father-in-law’s property from Bristol to London yesterday. For me it was quite a daunting and emotional task but the guys were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The items were all handled with care. We have just used Bristol Van Removals to move from Bristol to Calne. The office team were very responsive and helpful and we had the packing as well as removal service. This was all done excellently and efficiently. Ben and has team were superb on our moving day. It was a ridiculous amount of stuff to shift around in a cramped house but they did it all cheerfully and were helpful and positive throughout. An excellent team and great service – will certainly use again but hopefully not for quite a while!

Every part of the job was carried out in a really professional and efficient way. We paid for the packing service and everything was packed safely and logically. Everyone who worked with us was very friendly and lovely, and nothing was too much trouble. We had to rearrange several times due to changing completion dates, but that was no trouble at all. We used Bristol Van removals in the summer for the second time and they did not disappoint. The guys who came to help us move were polite, courteous, hard-working and willing to go the extra mile. They were so careful with our things I trusted them completely. Moving house is undeniably a stressful experience but I can honestly say moving day went without a single hitch thanks to the guys from BVR! I used BVR to move me in and out of storage and even though they are competitive price wise, they broke items going in and out of storage then we paid extra for the fragile packing service and what a waste of money this turned out to be as there was multiple breakages a number beyond repair, I contacted them numerous times but had to stop as it was stressing me out and I wasn't getting anywhere basically they wanted me to sort everything out and send them on receipts instead of doing the correct thing and dealing with it all, I cannot replace certain items, so if you value your possessions avoid using them.

Bristol van removals stepped in at very short notice to help us out after our previous movers had cancelled on us 4 working days before completion. They have been absolutely brilliant, the admin/ops team are really friendly and responsive. Jamal & team who did the moves (we did two in the end from home to storage and storage to new home) were brilliant, they were professional but also very friendly and really put me at my ease. BVR made a really big difference to such a stressful time. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Fantastic experience! The guys were super friendly and upbeat. We had a lot of stairs but they tackled them without complaint and managed to get our sofa back out the front door, no easy feat. On arrival at our new place, they were very careful and helpful, making sure all our items were put in the right room which saved us loads of time when it came to unpacking. When we sold our 3-bed house in North Somerset we used Bristol Van Removals for transporting the entire contents to a storage unit in Bristol. One year later we used them again to transport our things from storage to our new house over an hour away. Both times it was a 3-man team using 2 vans. We thought the service was astounding. For our recent move, Liam, the team leader, and his 2 colleagues, Milen and Nelson, were very professional, punctual, friendly, showed attention to detail, and very respectful of our needs – nothing was too much trouble; they were super careful with our new flooring, reassembled the bed, connected the washing machine, etc., always with good humour. To be perfectly frank, if I were starting a removals company, these 3 guys would definitely be my first hires. They’re simply unbeatable. Whoever is handling recruitment at BVR is doing a fine job. I would also like to mention the superb communication skills of Aimee and Livvy in the office. Emails were answered promptly, usually within the hour, and calls returned likewise within the hour. They were also very accommodating when we had to switch dates after our first house purchase fell through at the last minute. We found the rates to be very competitive. A very happy customer.

Having used the company in 2019 with great success, we used Bristol Van Removals in June 2021 to move my Mother from sheltered accommodation to a residential home. Liam and Ollie were absolutely magnificent and made the daunting task a pleasure. They were incredibly helpful, resourceful, enthusiastic and hard working. It was easy to book and agree a price but due to illness in my family and the new property not being ready on time I had to cancel my original booking at short notice. From the initial quote to the last box leaving the lorry the team were friendly, professional and cheerful. The access at our new home was definitely tight and there was a delay getting our keys. The guys that moved us were great and and were positive throughout. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

They were brilliant from start to finish. We had lots of drama getting out date confirmed - we ended up with less than 72 hours notice! The ladies in the office were lovely - Aimee in particular was constantly checking in and was really sympathetic with the situation. As arranged by Dave the Director on a pre-visit, the 3 guys arrived at 9 am on the dot and got stuck into moving all out packed boxes and furniture immediately - the 3 men, Dan, Dale and Katarin who were friendly and worked well as a team. They moved us our of our house in time and after a lunch break they moved us into our new house - they took furniture into their desired rooms upstairs and downstairs and were pleasant to communicate with. They worked hard and took some necessary breaks. They even reassembled a wardrobe for us which had to be taken apart to be moved and managed to move a heavy table through a window into our new property. We recently used Bristol vans for a move from Bristol to a little village south of the city. They were great to deal with from the first enquiry. We arranged a video show around the same day, and the quote came in really quickly. The price is so reasonable (we got a lot of quote and they were the best). What an amazing job Carl, Jake and Dan did today making my move so much less stressful! They arrived early (they rang ahead to make sure it was convenient) packed the van up in a quick and efficient time ensuring they took great care. They dismantled both beds and put them together the other end. Boxes and packing materials delivered exactly as arranged. On the move day, the team of two moved me out of a second floor flat into a three storey town house, so lots and lots of stairs. Even when all the items were moved in, there was an open offer to re-site things that I might not have steered to the right location first time. Given the work involved and the hot temperature on the day, it was really helpful. We started at 9:00am, and were complete by early afternoon. It was a hot day, the guys worked flat out. The team arrived bang on time, worked hard, were quick, organised, super with all my neighbours, nothing too much trouble and good sense of humour - a credit to your business. Thank you. I asked for a small but important removal job to collect a piece of medical equipment to complete the set up of a coronavirus 'pod'. Job was booked for the next day and I was kept informed through the day, especially when the previous job over ran and delivery was delayed. There was a minimum charge even though the job was small and quick but it still good value for money. Good service, friendly and helpful staff, efficient work.

Got quotes from several removal companies but what impressed me about Bristol Van Removals was how friendly & flexible they are. As moving out my late fathers house but will be unable to move into my new address for a few weeks. Not moved house in over 30 years, so all new experience to me. They talked me though all the options I had and gave quotes for different timescales as unsure when will be able to move into my new address. So went and booked with them and not regretted it they arrived on move out date prompt at 9am, we’re friendly but expert removers and before I knew it all my worldly goods were in their van and off to storage. Could not have asked for a better service, great care was taken in packing my precious cargo (2 large TV’s). Looking forward to same service when they help me move into my new address. I hadn't realised how important it was to get a good removal service, the completion date kept changing and Dave was really quick to get back to me each time, he was very understanding and helpful. Absolutely great service. I booked this firm to move my elderly parents. The two chaps arrived earlier than expected and worked really hard to fit everything into the van. Nothing was too much trouble, offering to put my parents bed together and moving it to where they wanted it once assembled. Had two guys and the Luton van come to help us move our furniture and boxes into our new, third floor flat. The guys were an enormous help, we would not have managed to get our Sofa up those stairs on our own, but they handled it easily. Dave was a pleasure to deal with in the lead up to our move, he turned up promptly to give us a very competitive estimate. On the day before the move, a team of two arrived promptly to carry out the packing - which was done with a minimum of fuss. Everything was packed by 2PM, except for some essentials which we needed for that night. On the day of the move the team turned up promptly (again) and proceeded to load the vans quickly and efficiently. The team were a pleasure to deal with and their friendly relaxed approach made the day much smoother - although they did nearly consume all our sugar. We were unloaded by about 6PM (all three vans!). We were really pleased with the service and have already recommended to some friends.

Bristol Removals moved me from Bristol to Frome. Dave who runs the business came to look at the job himself which was great as it gave me a chance to ask questions. He then sent me a very reasonable quote. The chaps that came to move me were very efficient and handled my belongings with professionalism and care. The two Daves lead a brilliant team of energetic, tremendously helpful and friendly movers. All of them seem to love their work and to share an amazing capacity to work, practically non-stop, till the job is finished to the customer's complete satisfaction. You need to be ready when they arrive: they move FAST so precious pictures and books and fragile furniture need to be carefully identified so that they know to take special care with them. We have lots of fragile items - especially china and delicate glassware. Nothing at all was broken in transit. Communication both before and after the move is exemplary too - with questions speedily and clearly answered. It's very clear to see why these are on the Trusted Traders list. If we move again, we'll make sure to contact Dave and Dave.

As a which trusted trader myself, I was very impressed with Bristol Van Removals reviews and decided to give them a call. From the original quotation (which was very fair) through to the day of removal, Dave and his team were very professional and accommodating. I had to cancel our appointment the night before due to being admitted to hospital for an urgent op - Dave very kindly rescheduled to a date that was convenient for us. This also meant the destinations of some of the items had to change, which was no trouble at all. Nick and Will were very polite, extra careful and kept us informed along the way. Overall a great experience from start to finish and I would have no hesitation in recommending to others. Well done guys.

It was a pleasure to be moved by Dave and Dave and the team. Friendly, nothing too much trouble, no quibbling, very flexible (we changed some plans at the last minute), willing to hold a booking before we had exchanged, worked very hard and moved a lot of stuff very efficiently, nothing broken in process. Really couldn't suggest any improvements to this service - oh and quote was cheapest of competition. You stuff is in safe hands with this outfit.

BVR recently moved me from St George to Brockworth, Gloucestershire and it was the most painless move I've ever done. The two guys who moved me, Craig and Dan, were absolutely superb. I wanted to say how fabulous your removal guys were, from the initial moment they introduced themselves they brought an air of calmness and capability to the whole process and just moved everything out and back into the new house in such a way that I didn’t need to think about anything. When they arrived I was initially so wound up about the whole process as there was only me and three dogs so I had a lot to thing about but they seemed to lift all that worry off me and made it such a wonderful and pleasurable experience I couldn’t have been happier. Dave and his team were brilliant for the removal of our library books. They were quick to respond to emails, they arrived promptly and were so efficient on the move day. It was a pleasure to work with them and I would highly recommend them to others.

Fast, friendly and efficient. The guys were punctual, worked very quickly but with care for the furniture. They were communicative with us and each other. Their packing skills were exceptional. Upon arrival at the new property they put every item exactly where we wanted. We would have no hesitation in using these guys again.

We didn't move far but we had a great deal of stuff, and Dave and his Team were brilliant. They were on time, friendly, helpful and didn't even complain about the weight of our bed! Used the company for the first time for a removal from a flat in London to two different addresses in Bristol. The 2 guys who came were very friendly, polite, prompt and efficient. Worked tirelessly to the job done with great teamwork being very careful with delicate items and minding the paintwork etc. I would definitely recommend and will use again.

Very happy with the service we received when moving from a flat in Bristol to a house in Portishead. The guys were very friendly and did a great job. They arrived on time and the whole process went really smoothly, taking only two hours from start to finish. They were very fast and efficient, but also very careful with our stuff.
