Heat Electric Northwest Limited

This was the second time we have used Heat Electric NW. On both occasions, installing electric radiators, replacing gas fuelled water radiators, the plumbers and electricians have worked flawlessly, leaving everything as tidy as they found it, and always with a friendly, patient and helpful manner. The radiators look nice and work beautifully. More expensive to run they are more than worth it as they are far more effective and responsive than our old gas central heating. From initial enquiry to completion of the work I cannot recommend this firm more highly.

We had replacement and new extra Elkatherm electric radiators together with a new consumer unit as part of the installation and a Sunamp water heater, both systems with associated apps. The order was placed at the end of August 2023 and the job was completed by mid October well within the suggested time-frame. The initial survey was informative and friendly and subsequent queries answered quickly. All the staff from the beginning of the project were polite and helpful and the installation was carried out quickly, cleanly and efficiently. Any problems, inevitable in an old house, were solved with great creativity especially the installation of the consumer unit which illustrated how experienced the staff were. This gives us great confidence in case of any issues in the future. The whole project was completed within estimate and we are very pleased with the result.

With the spiralling costs of electric heating, guests at our 2 small Airbnbs (Victorian conversion) with their inefficient wall mounted panel heaters were using an extraordinary amount of energy yet the rooms still had inconsistent temperatures. We decided to swap to modern, efficient and stylish ELKATHERM, the S range as ours are standard height. Heat Electric came recommended to us by a friend. With 25yrs in the property/interiors market, we deal with all types of traders & installers, and this was hands down one of the best experiences ever. The initial contact & advice was professional and speedy, with good comms and immediate action. The installation day was a delight. Friendly and knowledgable duo Ethan and Liam arrived on time with smiles, and couldn't do enough to make the day run smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble, including swapping a single surface mounted socket to a double just to make the usability of the socket better for us - no extra charge. They brought a Henry Hoover with them and fully cleaned everywhere up, and cut up and took away all the packaging, it was as though they'd never been. For me as a professional project manager, it was the care they took, their obvious pride in their work and little things like the patience with which they explained the App and remote system of control. It's increasingly rare to be so impressed by installers and these two were a credit to their employers. 10/10

Heat Electric replaced our emersion tank with the new innovative and much smaller SunAmp hot water system, and also replaced an old radiator. We cannot fault the courtesy, efficiency and professionalism of the Heat Electric team at all stages of the process from the initial discussion to the final installation. This was all achieved in a timely manner and to budget. There was some confusion over the ideal positioning of the SunAmp to maximise the space efficiency of a tight under stairs storage room, and Heat Electric had no problem in coming back to move the SunAmp which took several hours and replacement pipe work to deliver what we had hoped for.

We have had our entire gas central heating and boiler replaced by Sunamp and ELKATHERM radiators- a total pf 11 radiators and a boiler It took less than 5 days. Everyone involved in the project was professional, reliable, friendly, flexible and our home was left neat and tidy. If we had a third home we would ask Heat Electric to do it again.

I had a meeting in December where Garry went through the savings, process and options in detail. Having selected custom colours I was given an estimated time, of 12 weeks, for installation which was within a couple of days of the actual date. The 2 fitters and the electrician that arrived where friendly, professional and efficient. The removal of my old storage heaters and installation of my 6 new radiators took around 5 hours and had no impact on me while I was home. All packaging and rubbish was removed and any plaster dust was hoovered away. All the radiators were quickly put on my wi-fi and the lead fitter took me though how to operate the phone app that gives me control. I would recommend the company to anyone thinking of replacing existing radiators or storage heaters. The product is efficient, elegant and easy to control.

A first-class service in all aspects from reception through sales/engineering, installation and aftercare. Six Elka units totalling 8kW were installed to replace five outdated and inefficient economy 7 night storage heaters totalling 9kW. All work is completed in 7 hours with minimal or no disruption to domestic situations. Each room attains a 4 to 5 degree C improved temperature from the previous system on a totally flexible level and consistently reaches 22 degrees with no cold spots, floor to ceiling, wall to wall. The house has a high level of insulation fitted to all external and adjoining property walls with maximum insulation to loft and roof structures. Therefore combining the Elka units with this structure resulted in a consistent reduction of electricity consumption of 24 to 26% compared to the Economy 7 system with the same insulation. Since installation, there has been no need to resort to auxiliary heating whatsoever.

We needed to replace old storage heaters with radiators that would be more economical to run. The service we received was excellent from start to finish. Everything was clearly explained during our initial home visit and any questions were answered in a professional and friendly way. Removal of the old radiators and installation of the new ones was all done in one day and the two installers did a great job explaining how the settings worked on the radiators and leaving the house spotless. We also received comprehensive written instructions to refer to. Really pleased with the radiators and the degree of control that you have for each one. All the staff have been extremely helpful, friendly and professional.

We needed a storage radiator for a hobby room. The whole service from the initial site visit through to installation was excellent in terms of communication (friendly, timely and informative) and every step in the process happened on or before the agreed dates. In addition the product is of a high quality. Very happy customer.

From the initial visit to cost and scope the work through to completion, everything was seamless. I had the Sunamp and new radiators installed, on two separate visits. The installation staff on both occasions went above and beyond, they left my apartment spotless and even treated me to some singing along with the radio! I have to also commend the admin staff at the end of the phone, professional, friendly and efficient, in all a thoroughly positive experience. When you are spending a considerable amount of money replacing heating systems in your home there is always hesitation and worry that you have done the right thing, got the right product etc., let me say that with this company none of the above applied. From initial survey to fitting of Sunamp unit the service was first class. The installation team, comprising Mike, Steve and Lewis, showed great care in avoiding any damage to our home. The access in our small cottage wasn’t ideal or easy to deal with but they did a very neat and tidy job. Very impressive and we would recommend this company and the service they provide without hesitation.

From the first phone call, everything was done very professionally. An appointment was made to do a survey. Ian who came to do the survey was on time and explained what was required for what I needed. The water heater he recommended is ideal for what I needed. After that, he arranged for the work to be done as soon as it could be to suit me. Mike came to do the work and he arrived on the arranged day and time. He was also very professional as the rest of the people I had dealt with from this company. When the work was completed he left everything clean and tidy. Very pleased with our sunamp water heating , installed when and how specified . Ian and George were pleasant and explained the process of the installation worked hard and left site very tidy. There was a slight problem with controller which Ian and Steve rectified speedily and efficiently .

I had my Sunamp installed yesterday. This is the second time that I have used North West Heating Solutions as I had electric thermostat controlled radiators installed in 2019. The process from start to finish was very clear with no pressure and no selling tactics. Gary came to do the survey and he was very polite and professional. On the day of the Sunamp, the guys, Mike, Nathan and Luke were here at the time I was informed that they should arrive. I got an excellent and fabulous service from all three guys. They went above and beyond. The guys were very friendly, highly efficient and professional. Mike showed me how the Sunamp works and what to do if I get a leak. They were all very clean and tidy. From the moment we contacted the company to installation we have been dealt with courteously and professionally. We placed our order in August and we’re made fully aware of both the products benefits and also the timescale before fitting. For us, this wasn’t an issue although grateful by the time December came as the hallway was getting rather cold by then. It’s done exactly what we wanted it to do and the twenty five year guarantee is a benefit we don’t expect to need but reflects on the product. Any company offering such a Guarantee today fully backed and transferable (subject to written agreement) offers peace of mind. The fitters were prompt and worked to agreed specifications and tidied up afterwards. We are looking to potentially fit another Elkatherm heater in the near future after additional works we are having carried out are completed.

The work involved a pre-work survey, supply and fit boiler, cap gas supply and make good exterior brickwork. They carried out the survey and advised on the correctly sized appliance - did not try to "sell" us a larger one that we wouldn't have needed. They rang us on the day to keep us informed of when they would arrive, attended on time, fitted the boiler and made good the brickwork and wall where the old balanced flue had been. Really neat job which was above and beyond because, after all, they aren't bricklayers. They took great care of our carpets, fitted the boiler, cleaned up afterwards and took time to explain everything during and after the job. They attended afterwards to fit a water softener. He had to install a socket and, because of the layout of the house, had to take the wiring right back to the meter, nightmare! But he didn't complain, said it was "all part of the job" and cheerfully completed this mammoth task, again taking care of our carpets and cleaning up afterwards. As always, in the run-up to the work, they were available to answer a myriad of questions that we had. When we had our heaters fitted we knew we would return to North West Heating Solutions for our boiler and it was the correct decision. Would definitely recommend.

We had a Sunamp water heating system and five radiators fitted. The work was completed to a very high standard. The initial survey was conducted very thoroughly and all my questions were answered. When the engineers arrived they were extremely professional with their work, very polite and knowledgeable and they explained how to use the systems after installation. We had a Sunamp water heater installed to replace an ageing immersion heater. Also we had an electric radiator in the kitchen. The whole process went without a hitch. The old equipment was removed and taken away and everywhere was left in a very clean condition. The whole team from the engineer to the electrician are true professionals and very courteous. I would recommend this company to anyone requiring electric heating.

Having an outdated one pipe central heating system which has for years failed to adequately heat the rooms at the end of the circuit, we decided this year to replace four of the existing radiators with electric radiators. Now we have not only the option of warmth but the ability to easily control the location of that warmth. From removal of the existing radiators to the installation of the electric radiators, the work was carried out efficiently and with minimal disruption and everyone involved was pleasant and always ready to explain what needed to be done. And thanks also to Emily in the office for all her help. As to the radiators themselves, we are pleased with both appearance and function and I am hoping we can replace more radiators before too long.

The initial survey for the complete removal of our oil-fired central heating system and installation of an electric heating system and Sunamp Water Heater along with appropriate recommendations for our home and the quote for the complete work was carried out quickly and efficiently. The next visit was for an electrical survey, which took about two hours where the work to be done was explained to us very clearly. The old heating system was later completely removed and the Sunamp Water Heater installed which was all completed in one day. The new system was installed at a later date and was completed and working in two days. The operation of the system was explained before they left. At every stage of the work, we were kept well informed of progress any problems encountered were quickly resolved and dealt with. Every company employee involved was helpful, cheerful, and considerate at each stage of the work and they went out of their way to make sure that we were happy with everything. We feel confident that we can contact them at any time if we have any queries or problems. Our home was left clean and tidy as the work was in progress and we are very pleased with the way the whole work was completed.

I chose this company from the internet, influenced largely by their Which recommended status and the fact that they were reasonably local. I wanted new electric radiators in five rooms and a heated towel rail. The company procedure was first class throughout. The information given at the preliminary visit was clear and informative allowing me to decide exactly what I needed. Communication was good and I was kept up to date with how the order was proceeding as well as checking that I was satisfied after completion. The work was carried out most efficiently. Old heaters were removed and there was absolutely no mess as they cleared up. The work wasn't easy as the property is on the third floor and there isn't a lift but despite the huge amount of stair work everything was done in a cheerful and pleasant manner. As an elderly person I particularly appreciated the time and care the workmen took to ensure I was familiar with the programming of the radiators, rather than just leaving me with the information. I am delighted with my new radiators.

Replaced aging gas boiler and central heating radiators with Sunamp hot water heater and Elkatherm radiators. This required gas/elec/plumbing plus bricklaying to fill in hole from old boiler vent. Friendly and very competent service. Removing old and fitting new went entirely to schedule, even with a couple of extra jobs thrown in. Now 6 months later, and equipment has (so far!) worked fine.

I selected a suitable replacement which was delivered, installed and operational on the same day by an efficient and professional team of two. I called North West Heating solutions about replacing my expensive and polluting Liquid Petroleum Gas system. Everything was clearly explained to me and I was impressed by both the apparent quality of the product and the explanation given by David, the company's CEO. A team of plumbers arrived to remove the old water circulation system closely followed by a team of electricians to install the new one. The plumbers removed the LPG system and then the electricians replaced the old radiators with new ones. Everything was kept very clean and the installation proceeded without a hitch. However, one of the towel rails that I had fitted was faulty and so a week later two of the original electricians' team returned to replace that and check that all was well with the rest of the system. I rate both their original work and their aftersales service as top drawer.

I requested information on a new boiler asking for the various options and costings. All the information was posted promptly and when I requested a visited from the company for further information a member of staff called and gave me all the information on the options available, there was no hard sell or pressure and I eventually ordered a new boiler. It arrived and was fitted to my complete satisfaction. The work was done efficiently and with no mess. My old boiler was removed. All this was done in the one day. I found the office staff very helpful whenever I contacted them for advice or information.

We recently had new heaters installed by Northwest Heating solutions. The service has been exemplary from the start. Robert and Liam were excellent engineers. They were friendly and polite. The heaters are working well and are aesthetically more pleasing than the old storage heaters. We highly recommend this company.

From the moment I requested an NWHS brochure to now having a warm apartment, the whole experience has been old school premium customer service. David came to do the free service, and as we have a very large area to heat, it was not straight forward but he spent as long as we needed explaining every detail. As we had no heating he even rushed through our order. NWHS engineers were extremely professional & knowledgeable & nothing was too much trouble for them. Had a Sunamp unit installed to replace old hot water tank. From the initial visit from Ian the work was carried out in a professional manner. The plumber George and Ian made as little mess as possible and did an excellent job. We now have hot water at the turn of a tap 24 hours far better than the overnight storage that we needed to boast during the day. With this we use less electric.

Can't thank North West heating enough rang on the of chance as we had been terribly let down by a main uk installer of an electric hot water system. Rang them to see if they could help us David came out the next day and managed to fit us in really quickly as we had no hot water. Every one from Emily in the office to the guys who came out on the day were absolutely fantastic very professional and left every where spotless. Fitted radiators in lounge & kitchen both with no mess. Sale was not pushy just informative. Then Covid 19 lockdown but company easy to contact & helpful. Every person I spoke to was cheerful & helpful. Would recommend them without any hesitation.

Unlike other companies right from the start things were conducted in a professional manner. No "Special Prices" or "Managers Discounts" if we signed there and then. They gave us time to consider their quote and once we had accepted the quotation which was very competitive, everything proceeded as agreed. We were kept informed of the progress of the order and they agreed a date convenient to us for fitting As we live in Retirement Apartments when the work was carried out Steve came with full PPE and the fitting of the radiators was done very quickly with little mess. As its summer we cannot comment on the efficiency of the radiators but have confidence that they will prove to be all that the company claims. We were given quick start instructions as well as the full manual and there is also a "YouTube video" to help us programme them as well A very positive experience.

After considering carefully concluded that NW Heating offered the most practical and cost effective upgrade for the heating in this rental property. The house was surveyed in one day and the work completed in one day, (less than) with minimum disruption or mess. The tenant is delighted with the result.

We did get 3 quotes but what stood out was the customer service, no hard sell, they offer a great product for a good price A smooth fitting process and training for the controls, we used the app which is great. We contacted northwest heating due to old night storage heaters not working ,David was only to pleased to offer his advice on what we needed with a free survey. We found the company contact was helpful,the two installers Steve and mark were helpful and very efficient at what they installed.All old units are removed and everything left neat and tidy ,when finished we were shown how to set the rads up.There is also an online guide to view,just in case you get stuck setting things up,and they will help over the phone if req.The coloured rads take a while to arrive as they are colour coded to your spec,and you won't be disappointed with the finish.All in all a very reliable company to approach,from start to finish.

I had 2 old storage heaters replaced recently. Doing this did cost me more than I had anticipated and with it being the summer, it's too soon to tell how efficient these new heaters will be. However, they look great, thermostatic controls, easy to use control panel and programming etc. I have no doubts that these heaters will give me more control to provide heat when I want it instead of the old heaters making heat overnight for 7 hours then giving out throughout the day. Difficult to make efficient use of the old system to provide heat for the next day. So I look forward to the winter, and feeling the difference with these new heaters - hopefully with a more comfortable heat and with cheaper bills! The service given was top notch from the start. Emily was great, friendly, and helpful. David visited to size the project and give me a quote. He was quite the gentleman and professional. I knew I was in good hands with these guys. The boys on the day did a perfect job, cleaned up after themselves, very professional and nice to talk to. Thanks to you all for your service!

We had 7 radiators installed. The process was clean, quiet and painless. We found the guys who came to put them in to be prompt, friendly and efficient. They were keen to show us the settings and how to use them. The whole package is pretty pricey, but we hope that the combination of cheaper electricity and the long guarantee will be good value for money in the long term. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had my new heating system installed yesterday. These were to replace outdated storage heaters in the living and kitchen area and panel radiators in the 2 bedrooms. From start to finish, the process was very professional from the moment David came to my apartment, to ordering, to speaking to Emily if needed to the installment. The guys who fitted the heating system were very professional but also very funny. They explained everything to me and then showed me how to use the app which was set up there and then. It only took the guys a couple of hours to install. I was given an information booklet for the app if I have any problems. I would highly recommend North West Heating Solutions to anyone to replace there heating system.

Nothing was too much trouble and the work was carried out to a high standard. The heaters are easy to use and cost efficient. They have made a big difference to how warm the house is. Very pleased with the work done when I had my storage heaters removed and replaced with modern, efficient electric radiators. From having a survey done to them being installed, everything went smoothly. I am not exactly local to this business but they went out of their way to do this work for me. Installers worked quickly and they were very pleasant and friendly and left everywhere tidy and clean. I needed an instruction sheet for the immersion timer that they installed and when i 'phoned the office I was told it would go in the post that day. I received it early next morning! Would recommend these people without hesitation.

From enquiry through to installation, the company could not be nicer to deal with. Very efficient installation and cleaned up after themselves really well. Led me through the instructions with the offer of help over the telephone in the future if required. Not tried the heaters yet as it's still summer, but I expect them to be effective.
