Dean replied promptly and courteously to my initial enquiry. After a helpful exchange of messages, we agreed a date for the work to be done (not a simple task, as I had to arrange for a gas safe plumber to disconnect my gas fire before the sweeping could be done). The price was very reasonable (£75). On the day, Dean arrived on time, immediately laid protective plastic sheeting on my carpet and then started work with the sweeping and vacuuming machine. Afterwards, he showed me the debris that had come down from my chimney - not a pretty sight! Dean answered all my questions and advised me on the safest position for my CO detector. Everything was left spotless after he had finished, with all the chimney debris removed. All was finished within 45 minutes. A good job done!

I needed a repair to a chimney in a managed building and Dean was able to provide all the necessary Health & Safety paperwork required by the managing agents. He was highly experienced and quoted for all the alternatives so I knew how much I would have to spend before the job was undertaken. As the job turned out to be complex and involved other leaseholders he photographed the problem and provided a report with recommendations. His charging was fair and he was always quick to respond to my queries and to offer solutions. I don't usually leave feedback but I felt this company was worth it.

We had a prefabricated chimney and cast iron fireplace removed. The company came to assess the job and submitted a very reasonable quote within 4-5 days and, because of rescheduling of another job, were able to do the work ten days later. They were very polite and tidy and, importantly, kept us informed of any problems encountered. Also, the final bill was some £200 less than estimated. We are very pleased with our new look fireplace and would definitely recommend this company.

A great team. As the first stage in our house refurbishment, we opened our bricked-up fireplaces and cleared the huge amount of rubble and debris from the chambers. Dean and his team came to sweep (the first time in many decades), CCTV survey and fit cowls to our chimney flues. Later we wish to re-install Victorian fireplaces, mantels etc, and will ask Dean to do this work. Dean and his team were very helpful, quick and efficient. They returned two weeks later to seal the ventilation cowls after rainwater ingress - because our Victorian chimney pots were not made to modern tolerances.

From calling in for a quote to completing the job I honestly cannot have asked for a better service. I actually paid less than what was quoted. They provided the best advice which actually resulted in paying less. They are very cautious to be as clean as possible and are honest in every step throughout the job. I even gave them keys to carry on working which meant I didn't have to waste holidays from work and haven't regretted it. I received an update everyday and the love the finish article. Absolutely recommended and 100% trustworthy.

Dean and Leo fitted our woodburner and fireplace. Included opening up, smoke testing and lining flues, installing stove and fire surround and air brick with perfectly smooth finishing and no making-good necessary. Very clean, not a spot of soot in sight. Lovely slate too. Fanastic room features. All competitively priced compared to the others we had. Dean is knowledgeable about DEFRA, HETAS and the Clean Air Act requirements so could advise us on choices for future use. If we decide to do the bedroom fireplaces they will be our go-to guys.
