AOS Energy Efficient Heating Systems Limited

My gas boiler needed replacing following an annual service check by AOS which highlighted a problem necessitating its replacement. The installation was carried out by Tony Owen and Sam and was planned to be completed in one day. They arrived promptly at the scheduled time and carried out the work efficiently and within the timescale. They ensured that my property was protected with dust covers where ever they had to work ensuring that the materials were located without hindrance to me. At the end of their work, Tony explained to me what they had done during the installation, highlighting a small electrical problem which meant a further return visit to resolve at a later date. He went through the documentation he left with me. Sam was very courteous when wishing to use some cleaning facilities to assist him in tidying up before they finished to leave. Altogether, very professional and efficient work carried out by AOS and would highly recommend them.

We used AOS Heating who are based in Cheshunt. We arrived at a quote that we agreed on and which was kept to. The installers arrived when they said they would, 8.00 am, worked all day except for a 20-minute lunch and left between 4.00 and 4.30 pm. They agreed with us what would happen were as new radiators had to be installed as well as the pump, piping and a new immersion tank. They worked cleanly vacuum cleaning at the end of each day. The work was completed on time. The men who came were polite and pleasant company when we chatted to them.

1st classwork from AOS in installing our new gas boiler, Tom, Kian & Jack provided excellent work throughout keeping me informed of everything that was happening as they went. Would definitely recommend AOS for anyone needing a new boiler.

When my husband and I needed a considerable amount of plumbing and electrical work done to our home in 2008 we looked for a local company and AOS were recommended to us. From day one we were impressed by the efficiency of the work and the consideration of the workforce. AOS EEHS Ltd installed an Ecodan air source heat pump and Grant cylinder in our property. We were impressed with how thoroughly the survey was undertaken and our questions addressed. They promptly provided all the information required to support our Green Homes Grant and Renewable Heating Initiative applications. The office support staff were very helpful in this respect, explaining the options and requirements. The installation appears to have been carried out to a high standard. This included re-routing power cables, removing gas pipes and the old boiler, upgrading radiators and, of course, finding suitable pipe access points to plumb in the heat pump. They took measures to keep costs down by re-using some of the old radiators in smaller rooms to avoid replacing like-for-like. The installation team were thorough and professional. They were good at cleaning up after themselves, so that there were no issues at the end of each day. They made good the areas where parts of the old system were removed. It is still summer, so time will tell how well the heating works, however the hot water system generates more than enough water for a days use.

AOS' sales explanation of what we would get and how it would work was clear and comprehensive. Their quotation covered exactly what we had asked for and offered a reasonable price. Their offered installation date was well within the timeframe they suggested initially. They arrived on time with all the correct materials (barring one radiator which was the wrong size, quickly corrected), and did a very competent installation job within the time they said it would take. They were polite, helpful and hard-working throughout, and made a good job of tidying up after themselves. So far the system works as expected. I would recommend AOS to anyone looking to convert to a heat pump.

Excellent service from first enquiry to post installation paperwork. Installation crew were superb - courteous, efficient, tidy and punctual. Questions were answered quickly and patiently and price was reasonable. All in all, a very positive experience so I can't ask for anything more!

Friendly, efficient staff in the office. Service staff arrived on time, did a careful and efficient boiler installation, removed old boiler and cleared up afterwards. Couldn't have asked for better service.
