AOS Energy Efficient Heating Systems Limited

AOS removed our old gas boiler and installed an air source heat pump. The process was to take 4 days Monday to Thursday. Day 1 Drain the old system, remove the old boiler, and remove some of the older radiators. Chop out a lot of the old pipework. Day 2 removed the old hot water cylinder and site the new Heat pump and pipework. By the end of the day, we were left with hot water from the new cylinder. Happy days. On day 3 Luka carried out electrical work to connect the heat pump. By the end of the day, the heat pump was running and supplying both hot water and heating. Day 4 made good all holes from the old system to a very high standard, from the outside you would never know the brickwork had been drilled. By lunchtime the guys cleaned up and ran me through the new tech, installing the app and left me fully understanding the new system. We were very lucky to have Sam and his apprentice Louis. Their work was of exceptional standard, very tidy, self-motivated, respectful of our property and explained everything as they went about their work. When Sam and Louis left everything was lovely and tidy. In short, the whole experience was good from the start, from working with Jack in the planning and the rest of the team. I had been dreading the upheaval as this was a complete system change. I shouldn’t have worried the team were brilliant ensuring we were warm after they left in the evening. Right from the initial engagement through to completion AOS Heating's communications and professional approach shone through. They designed a heating system as a total entity for my house that has proved to be a major improvement on my previous oil-based system. The house is evenly warm, hot water is produced in quickly and my energy consumption looks to be down based on the first month of use. This demonstrated that a system like this needs to be properly designed for a property. During the installation AOS staff were respectful, polite, and very tidy, causing minimal disruption to the house. A good indicator of the quality of a service is their approach to sorting snags, there were a couple of small snags which were corrected very quickly and efficiently. I would thoroughly recommend AOS Heating and will be engaging them for ongoing system maintenance.

The team were excellent throughout the whole process. There was clear communication and updates during the process from survey to installation. During installation the team were professional, prompt and left the house in an excellent condition. The installation was incredibly neat.

The original installation of an Air Source Heat Pump and new radiators was carried out earlier this year. The few teething problems we had at the time were sorted out quickly and efficiently by the companies engineers. This visit was to address a couple of minor leaks on the newly installed radiators, the engineer who came has been before and was polite efficient and knowledgeable, he fixed the radiators and checked the system and also helped us with changing the timings on the control panel. All of the employees of AOS have been polite and considerate when visiting our property.

I have been an AOS customer for over 15 years and have always been pleased with their service. I selected AOS to replace our old gas central heating system with a heat pump. The entire system was replaced including all the radiators and hot water cylinder. We were very impressed by the installation team who completed a high quality and neat job on time. They showed good attention to detail, communicated well and took away all the rubbish and old parts. The office team have helped us apply for and receive the government voucher which made the project affordable. They also have offered us a 'health check' follow-up visit in a few months to check the system is working ok and to answer any questions.

AOS did a well planned and efficient installation of a Samsung Heat pump and some radiator changes. Before we ordered, they advised us, based on their many years of experience of heat pump installations. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They cleared up after each visit and finished off all the small jobs.

AOS fitted a new towel rail for me and carried out a boiler service. They were friendly, professional, very thorough, cleaned up and explained everything. I have used them before and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Their prices are reasonable too.

Ben, the service engineer who came to service our air source heat pump arrived on time after telephoning that he was on his way to us. He was most well mannered, polite and informed us about exactly what he would be doing. He thoroughly checked all aspects of the heat pump, the control panels and hot water tank. He also adjusted all the radiators and checked their efficiency. Before leaving he exiled what he had done and familiarised us on how to use the controls on the control panel and what safety precautions we needed to take in case of any problems. His explanations were clear and he checked with us to make sure that we understood what he had explained. He was a most pleasant and positively communicant person who it was pleasure to have doing a service for us. He was excellent in every respect.

I have been with AOS for 25 years and their service has always been very good, their plumbers are experienced and rated highly. They recently installed a new boiler in just over one day, gave me lots of advice on heating my home, they are friendly and courteous. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. All the aftercare paperwork was sent to me in a very timely manner.
