AOS Energy Efficient Heating Systems Limited

I’ve had heating cover from AOS for a few years after bad experiences with BG. In contrast, AOS doesn’t try and condemn your boiler each year and their engineers come on time, are tidy and do what they say they will. There was a real test a few days ago for them. Just before a Bank Holiday, the hot water stopped working and I saw a leak near the boiler. The phone was answered by super-efficient Abbie who was rapidly able to ascertain what the problem was and arrange an engineer visit the next day. I don’t usually buy extended warranties or maintenance plans but I wouldn’t be without AOS cover and am sure they apply the same standards to one-off jobs.

The initial callout, not an emergency was completed very much to our satisfaction within 3 hours, from this a recommendation was made by the engineer to make a modification , to eliminate the problem occurring again. This work was carried out at the date and time agreed, once again to our satisfaction. All this work was carried out under our maintenance contract. This a can do firm and has been for the last 20 years to my knowledge

Having moved to an old house with a very old oil boiler we were delighted to be recommended AOS by friend of a friend as a solution to heating the house. Had it not been for them we would have doubted that such a system would be possible for the house, albeit we were comprehensively upgrading and renovating. From the outset, the company was courteous, and prompt and answered the many queries that arose from the planning stage to the final commissioning. They liaised with our plumber and electrician to ensure the installation was as seamless as possible. In addition, they helped overcome supply problems to ensure the system was installed so that we could take advantage of the government Renewable Heat Incentive deal that was closing at the end of March 22. So far so good, but as energy prices rise, it is a system that one needs to get to understand, with its multiple thermostats and timing options.

Everyone in AOS from start to finish were very helpful, willing to discuss and answer all my questions politely and patiently, and the process went completely to plan. The team of young guys were always punctual, polite, worked competently and knowledgeably. I was very pleasantly impressed to see such a young team doing such complicated and responsible work completely confidently. The pump is now installed and is working as it should be. I am very pleased with the whole installation process and felt I was in good hands the whole time. I had solar panels installed earlier to help with the running cost of the pump.

Aos have always given me great service over the many years I have used them. I had a combi boiler installed 5+6 April and am very pleased with the work done. Would recommend AOS to anyone

We have been a long term customer of AOS and always happy with their service. When our old boiler reached its end-of-life, (supplied and installed by AOS nearly 20 years ago), AOS provided a competitive quote for a replacement, offered an installation date within a few days, arrived on time, carried out a nice neat installation, tested and talked us through the new boiler operation. Engineers always very personable and ready to answer questions and listen to any concerns.

I totally recommend AOS if you’re thinking of installing a Heat Pump. From start to finish I had complete trust in the company and I must also give a mention to Ryan and his team who installed the pump over four days. They were knowledgeable, punctual, pleasant and cleared up every day.

The service provided was very professional and thorough. Prior to installing a new boiler, the engineers tried very hard to mend the previous one. Sadly it wasn’t to be and the decision to replace was made. Having been without heating for several days, the company strived for a quick installation to minimise our discomfort. The installation went smoothly, the workmen were very careful and respectful of my brand new floor. They worked quickly and efficiently, clearing up after themselves. We had been thinking about changing from oil fired heating to an Air Source Heat Pump, and decided on using AOS following a recommendation from a neighbour and reading very positive reviews online. The whole process was so simple with AOS staff giving us advice on preparing the house, applying for the RHI grant etc. The work was carried out in 4 days and I was delighted by how efficient and clean the engineers were. Installing a heat pump is more complicated than a boiler but AOS were extremely supportive and professional through this process. All the staff I encountered had the same helpful attitude and the standard of the final work was exceptional. First time a plumber has labelled all the consumer facing switches and sockets. Great support with the associated paperwork as well. Very strongly recommend.
