I have been with AOS for 25 years and their service has always been very good, their plumbers are experienced and rated highly. They recently installed a new boiler in just over one day, gave me lots of advice on heating my home, they are friendly and courteous. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. All the aftercare paperwork was sent to me in a very timely manner.

Impressed with the team from AOS who installed our heat pump. Started and completed on time. Left our home clean and tidy each day. Very pleasant and polite. Guided us through the procedures required for the government grant. Assessed our home for the installation of new radiators, hot water tank and ASHP.

Once again a very efficient and professional service provided by AOS, both back office and the service engineer. This appointment was rearranged at short notice and AOS went the extra mile to fit in this service. Clear summary of work done by a polite and friendly engineer who was clean and tidy in his work. All my questions were answered comprehensively. The previously high standard of service provided by AOS has been maintained and it is reassuring to know they support and maintain my heating system.

I had quotes from British Gas and smaller companies than AOS and none met their price. They said the work would take 2-3 days as it was more than just a boiler replacement. The 4 man team run on site by Ryan completed, tested and commissioned the system in just under 2 days. Nothing was a problem for them even though a new bathroom was being fitted at the same time by a builder. Having been in construction all my life the standard of the installation was 100%. I would recommend them every time.

Everything about this company instills customer confidence. The initial presentation was honest, factual and informative with absolutely no pressure selling whatsoever. The survey was extremely detailed and the proposal was clear, concise and well documented. As for the installation team, they were excellent. They arrived promptly each day and the first task each morning was to ensure that dust sheets were laid everywhere. Before leaving each day the dust sheets were removed and everywhere was vacuumed and the house was left in a pristine condition. This was repeated every day. The installation was extremely professional and the handover and operating instructions were detailed very clearly. In conclusion, a very experienced company that I would thoroughly recommend.

I was fed up with British Gas. I had a service contract with them, and the last time they did a service they were in the house for ten minutes. I left British Gas and went to AOS on the recommendation of a friend. When it came to needing a new boiler, they were very impressive. Price was reasonable. They arrived on time - slightly early in fact. Put dust sheets everywhere. Completed the job in a day, were polite, courteous and knowledgeable. Very impressive. And I get a discount on my service contract too. First class, highly recommended!

We have recently had our boiler replaced by AOS heating following a power flush and service on our old boiler, which was constantly suffering from loss of pressure. We have found everyone that we have had contact with to be efficient, knowledgeable and great to work with. I would recommend them. I have scored them average on value as there are cheaper company’s out there but you get what you pay for.

I highly recommend the whole team from AOS for installing an air source heating system in our house. From the information given by Andy and Keith with no high pressure sales . We were given the facts and left to decide. The ladies Lucy and Josie in the office who are so kind and helpful keeping us informed of our government grant application. The team of engineers Rhys, Toby and others who were so polite and friendly. They did a superb job always checking that we were happy and explaining things. Whole system plus radiators and tank installed in 4 days. The system has been in a few weeks now and is working fine. Very happy with it. I like the offer of a free return visit to carry out a health check and to answer any of our questions in the first few months. Brilliant service

We have had an air source heat pump installed by AOS and they have done a great job. A polite team of up to six operatives who were tidy, hard working and professional. The pre-sales service was excellent too with regular communication as to what was going on and when things would happen. Happy to recommend them.

A leaflet through my door from AOS Heating Systems resulted in a presentation on air source heat pumps and their advantages. This led to a 1 to 1 at home assessment. We had a 25 year old oil fired boiler feeding 40 year old radiators and decided now was the time to change. We went for the full system heat pump, new radiators throughout and replacement hot water tank. The installation took 5 days as predicted. The engineers were polite, totally professional arriving on time and cleaned up after themselves each day. There were some issues, the hot water tank, supplied by a sub-contractor was delivered late. However, AOS took complete responsibility. We were kept informed and pragmatic graceful solutions proposed and successfully implemented to keep the plan on track. We are delighted with the result. The heat pump itself is significant quieter (almost silent) than the oil fired boiler and although there is a little more humming from the system, as it is pumping water around the house, it is much quieter than the clicks and groans from the old system. Counter intuitively, the radiators are not as hot, but the house is definitely warmer than before. We have just booked our after sales health check to ensure we are fully familiar with our new system and using it as efficiently and effectively as possible. All in all, as a decerning engineer, I can say this was a major household change, managed really well by a totally professional team. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Have had good work carried out by AOS for well over 10 years. Air Source Heat Pump ( ASHP) Installed 17 July 2013 replacing oil fired system. Basically AOS Serviced system and the pump failed (wore out) on 23 January 2024 two days later survey carried out to assess what was required and two weeks after that a new ASHP was installed and upgrades on two small radiators. The work took two days and the ASHP was working. We are happy with new pump and pipe work and we were able to keep in touch with engineers at all times the wifi work was completed on the 5th March 2024. Overall costs ASHP pipework, filters, pumps, radiators and disposal of old parts and pumps reasonable (no incentives as we were just replacing the pump unit and we had our government incentive the first time round)

We had our boiler replaced and a system flush and the two engineers were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and they were really considerate in how they left the house and tidied up after themselves. They even did a few bits that they noticed when they were there and we are really pleased with the final result.

We chose AOS Heating to carry out our new boiler installation as we have used them for many years to service our old boiler and have been very happy with the level of service we have received. We had a technical surveyor come out and do a survey and offer advice regarding the options available to us. The office team were always very efficient and keeping us updated by phone or email. We were provided with very detailed quotes and finance options. The two engineers that installed the boiler were very prompt and polite. They used dust sheets which we were very pleased about as we have cream carpets. They kept us updated throughout the installation. On completion of the work, I was given a full overview of all the workings of the boiler. AOS Heating also have a 24 Emergency phoneline which is very reassuring as a customer. We have been delighted with the service we have received and wouldn't hesitate to recommend AOS Heating to potential customers.

We came to AOS via their Service Department, with which we have enjoyed an excellent relationship for the past two years. In January this year our ageing heat pump, as expected, broke down irretrievably, and it was with great confidence that we turned to AOS for its replacement, together with several, more suitable radiators. The preinstallation survey offered clear and useful advice. The quotation was laid out in logical detail, with diagrams, and once accepted was followed by an excellent description of the relationship both parties had a right to expect. We cannot praise the installation team too highly. Well led, and keen to get the job done properly. Everyone knew what needed to be done, worked with a minimum of fuss, and tidied up at the end of the day. It was good to be involved in discussion about the routing of pipes, the siting of electrical boards, switches and cables etc. We became party to a neat, tidy and uncluttered installation, which anticipates the needs of regular servicing, and has greatly improved the space in the airing cupboard. An art installation in its own right! The only glitch in the process was the late deliver of two radiators, which could not be helped. Expeditious resolution was followed by a clear explanation of the mysteries of the system, together with a series of glossy booklets covering every conceivable need for reference. Both encouraging and easy to follow. Our confidence in AOS fully justified.

I have used AOS for over 18 years for maintenance and repair. I had a problem with my boiler. I called and they were there within a few hours. Unfortunately the boiler was not safe and needed to be replaced. I found the guys very helpful and professional. I would highly recommend AOS.

We have a maintenance contract with AOS and we needed to call on their service to fix a non critical problem = a tall radiator not fixed correctly. The response was excellent and the technician turned up early - not a problem. He could have done a quick fix but instead did a permanent job and did it thoroughly. He kept us informed and showed us what he had done. Very pleased with this.

AOS have been professional throughout the entire installation of a new Bosch 4000 combi boiler. Shoutout to Lucy for organizing all the relevant paperwork and advising on key points! AOS made good on removing an old system boiler from my kitchen and installing a new combi boiler in the loft space to gain extra space in the kitchen, airing cupboard and loft. All the lads who worked on the job were punctual, professional, and respectful of my property. All pipework has been cleanly and professionally fitted.

I have been a customer with AOS for approximately 16 years when I took out a service plan for heating etc. On every single occasion I have telephoned I have been met with professional support staff who listened and organised everything possible to accomodate my needs. Our old boiler was 18 years old had never gone wrong and was originally fitted by AOS but now was the time to upgrade. We choose a new boiler and had our house surveyed we were really confident with what he told us and went with his recommendation. We needed the boiler to be moved to a different location which was quite tricky but the Gas Fitters were great, were here on the specified day and very punctual and rarely took a break the job was completed on time and all safety checks were completed. I have always had a maintenance contract with them and would highly recommend them for there highly skilled fitters and the excellence of their work.First class Company.

Heat pump, cylinder and new radiators fitted. AOS have kept us informed all the way through the recent installation. They have been extremely knowledgeable and able to give clear recommendations without making us feel pressured into making decisions. The person who came to give us the quote assessed what we needed but explained the alternatives. I was confident with his experience. A new central heating boiler was installed, completed on time and to the original agreed price. There was very little disruption and the installers cleaned up after themselves. They were efficient and respectful. Buying a new boiler is a mine field but AOS made it easy

I have been using the services of AOS for over a decade now. I have found them to be very professional, polite, and trustworthy. Recently the boiler broke down and AOS replaced it with a new one within five days. The engineers arrived at the appointed time and finished the work on the same day. Very thorough and professional office management and support staff, highly knowledgeable lead consultant, and an experienced and meticulous team, who were clean and on schedule. A couple of minor follow up tasks needed were speedily dealt with. All the paperwork flowed through to me very quickly. The office immediately picked up the increase in the amount of the BUS grant which was announced just as my installation was about to get started, so that I could take advantage of that.

The team arrived on the dot of 8.00 as promised. The team leader confirmed the work that needed to be done and allocated work to the team. Care was taken to ensure disruption was kept to a minimum and sheets were put down throughout the property to protect the carpet. They kept us informed about what they were doing and warned us when the water was about to be turned off. I have had a service contract with AOL for approximately 27 years after they fitted a boiler all those years ago. A replacement boiler was ordered and fitted 2 days ago. The team of 2 men, Ryan amd Jack, came at the time arranged and proceeded to get the work done. They worked constantly throughout the day with good humour and courtesy in what is quite a small space. They moved items that I had forgotten to shift without complaint and replaced things after the work was completed. All packaging and rubbish were removed at the end. The workings of the boiler were explained to me and it was set up to the time specifications I suggested. The engineers came in a company van and wore clothing with the company logo on it. I like the fact that new staff are shown how the company works and their approach to helping the customer.

AOS proved to be a worthy choice of supplier for the installation of our air source heat pump, two of which had to be incorporated. They stuck to their schedule and finished the work within the week. The service provided to us throughout the enquiry, confirmed order and installation itself was second to none. We have nothing but praise for the various personnel involved. The finished job is very impressive and although we haven't yet really had sufficient time to confirm that the system is living up to our expectations, we are extremely pleased that we did make the commitment and especially happy that we chose AOS.

From the outset A O S have been professional and friendly. Nothing has been too much trouble for them. We wanted the pipework moved to a different location and it was all done within the installation. AOS removed the old boiler and water tank and fitted a combi boiler. AOS were recommended by a couple of neighbours and I couldn’t have been more pleased. From the installation admin. team to the installers, they were all great. Professional, efficient, polite and friendly. They explained everything and did a great job and all to the agreed timescale. I particularly want to mention Rhys and Kian who installed the boiler - they were just great - so helpful and efficient and polite. We selected AOS Heating for the purchase and installation of a new Air Source Heat Pump system, after comparative quotes from several other companies. There was not much difference in quoted price, but AOS impressed by their professionalism and expert knowledge from day one. We needed to get planning permission, due to the proposed position of our installation and AOS stuck with us through the protracted planning process. The installation took four days from start to commissioning as planned, no delays, no cost overruns, all went like clockwork. The installation team were always punctual, professional and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Our house was always left clean and tidy at the end of each day. The quality of the work looks to be superb. I would not hesitate to recommend AOS to any prospective purchaser and will be using them for servicing and any future plumbing or heating work.

Having had excellent service from AOS 22 years previously, I wanted to stay local again. I was not disappointed. Both Max and his two apprentices were polite, professional and extremely well-mannered. Communication was excellent throughout the fitting process as it was with the office staff both before and after fitting. Consideration was given to protecting carpets and flooring and they worked clearing up as they went along. After fitting, everything was fully explained in terms of use of the boiler and thermostat with the reassurance that if I still had difficulty, was assured that someone would help. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Hopefully they will continue for many more years to come.

AOS have installed the heat pump in a very efficient manner. The engineers were very pleasant and left no mess clearing up after every days work. They were always very polite and courteous.

I contacted AOS in order to replace my old oil-fired boiler with an Mitsubishi Ecodan 8.5kW. As part of the work, I also asked to remove the old water tank in the loft, replace the water cylinder and re-pipe three rooms. The processes of evaluation and installation went smoothly and I was accurately informed about every step. AOS addressed all my questions with precision and without delays. The installation was completed in five days, including a full day for testing, and my property was left clean. The new system seems to work satisfactorily and I am very pleased with the results. I can certainly recommend AOS as an excellent company.

We were in the process of buying an off-mains gas property that previously had an expensive direct electric boiler and central heating system. Before exchanging I was keen to ascertain if an Air Source Heat Pump solution would be viable at the property, how much it might end up costing, and the potential efficiency savings vs direct electric. I had come across AOS through both highly rated online reviews - and a friend's father-in-law who had also had an ASHP system fitted by AOS the previous year and also had very positive things to say about the company and their experience. From booking in an initial phone call with their technical surveyor Lee Wildego who took the time to answer all my initial questions in great detail - to the heat loss survey which led to a competitive quote - through to the installation team who were friendly to have around the house and super tidy in their work, alongside all the post-commissioning aftercare to ensure the ASHP was running efficiently - I found AOS excellent, honest and reliable to deal with throughout. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend AOS to anyone that's looking to see if an ASHP solution is viable for their home.

AOS have installed a Mitsubishi air source heat pump, hot water cylinder and upgraded a number of radiators. The process from initial contact to final commissioning was completely seamless. AOS managed the government grant application process on our behalf which made life very easy for us. A key element of the process was the initial heat loss survey; the survey and the resulting heat loss report were both thorough and comprehensive. AOS also present the heat loss report to the heat pump manufacturer for their approval too. This process really gave us confidence that we were dealing with a very experienced organisation and thus made for a very easy buying decision. All of the on-site and off site teams have been incredibly helpful, highly skilled and really friendly. We are very pleased with the quality of the installation, the timescales were accurate and the costs were on budget. I would highly recommend AOS to anyone thinking of heating system upgrades and installs.

Went with AOS for a heat pump install because the reviews are so good. It has been installed for almost a month now and all is working well. The process from start to finish was made very easy by AOS, right from when I first contacted them for advice and through the various visits and installation stages etc. I asked a lot of technical questions and their responses were always prompt, clear and helpful. Can’t fault them really!

We needed to have a new air source heat pump installed as our heating was not working effectively with our old one, not great timing when -8 degrees outside and just before Christmas. AOS were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional, from the start of reporting our issues to the really helpful reception service team to the excellent installation engineers and team and follow up care. They were prompt and extremely helpful in our hour of need, I can't fault them, brilliant every step of the way and would thoroughly recommend them. We contacted AOS to discuss the installation of an air source heat pump on the recommendation of a friend. Like them we have been delighted with our experience of working with the company. From the initial contact through subsequent surveys, discussion of our needs, liaising with various authorities and the installation of the system AOS were helpful, efficient and professional in their approach. We elected in addition to the heat pump to have a new cylinder and quite a few new radiators so it was a relatively large job but the installation team were exemplary in minimising disruption for us. Throughout the work the installation team were friendly and courteous and did a great job. We are delighted with our new system and would happily recommend AOS to friends and family.

The work was carried out to the agreed schedule and on budget. The quotation and handling before the work started was good. I used the same trader to install the air source system 10 years ago and they were responsive and professional to deal with over the ten years. I chose them therefore for their proven record of providing good aftercare. The engineer (and his assistant ) were helpful during the two days of installation. They talked me through the various instructions I needed to know in order for me to be confident to work the system. They were extremely good at tidying up at the finish which was appreciated.

Our old boiler has been kept going by AOS but was old and finally gave up. I have the service plan so they came within the hour to have a look. Jack made it safe but told us we needed a new one. They were in touch the next day and the new boiler was installed on the Friday of the same week. Very happy and would recommend them to anyone. I have always been very happy with all their engineers.

AOS saved the day in as far as boiler failed to work Wednesday morning, AOS were on site within 90mins, confirmed boiler not repairable and quote prepared same day. I explained my health restrictions and they arranged for a 3 man team to fit a new boiler and other works on Friday. 48hrs from boiler failure to fitting a replacement and then real patience in explaining the remote control system. Outstanding service.

AOS installed an air-source heat pump for us in September 2022. We had some outstanding making good and technical issues following the installation which they resolved quickly. The work was done to the agreed schedule and cost and the company also arranged for the application for a government grant to help pay for the work. All the staff from the initial sales visit to the very comprehensive survey, installation and problem resolution, both those visiting our property and those we dealt with on the phone, were excellent. The engineers who came to the house were tidy, respectful of our home, quick and effective in their work. I would have no hesitation recommending this company - in fact, we heard of them from neighbours who all had only positive things to say about AOS.

We had an Air Source Heat Pump fitted by AOS last week, replacing an oil boiler. Despite our cottage being old with new extensions and therefore slightly out of the ordinary, the installation team, led by Kian, did an amazing job and worked really hard. Kian and Sam were with us all week and were excellent at keeping us informed of progress and explaining what was happening. They, together with Reece and Luca were a pleasure to have in our house. The job was done efficiently and skilfully and they were very focused on ensuring all our needs/queries were met. The whole experience was very positive and we would highly recommend the Company.

AOS installed a new heat pump to replace an old oil boiler. The whole process was easy from start to finish and the installation team did a brilliant job. They were super efficient, quick and friendly. Highly recommended!

We have wanted to install an air source heat pump (ASHP) for several months following the sharp rise in our forecast energy costs (we had both gas and electricity costs). Having looked around for companies in our area (south-east) we decided to go with AOS because of the consistently good reviews they had received. We were not disappointed. Every aspect of their work was utterly professional - Ryan and his installation team were punctual (waiting outside to start work before 8am every day), polite and courteous, and very hard-working, especially given the very hot days we had whilst they were here. Also, their workmanship was top class. I'm not a plumber or heating engineer but the finished installation, both the outside ASHP and the indoor cylinder (in loft) were so neatly laid out and finished off, as were the five new radiators we chose to have to improve the performance of the overall system. The workings and control of the heat pump were explained to us, and everything seems to have been working well since the commissioning date. A word also for the engineer (Lee Wildego) who carried out a very detailed survey of out property prior to the installation team's arrival, and to Charlotte and Lucy at AOS for always being so helpful with my endless questions and queries. Overall, I would recommend AOS without any hesitation.

We already use AOS for our Heating and Boiler Service plan and have always been pleased with their work and so we were happy to use them to install a new boiler to replace our previous one. The estimater gave us a clear idea of what we needed and what work was to be done. The Estimate was competitive. The work was carried out on the agreed date efficiently and we were left with clear instructions how to use the new boiler and the Hive controller. We would recommend AOS to anyone else needing a new boiler.

This is the second time that I've used AOS Heating. They installed a 14kW Mitsubishi Ecodan ASHP in our previous house four years ago, which drastically reduced our heating bills. We just done this again in our new house and are very pleased with the installation. The pipework and electrics have been so neatly done. Very helpful and polite team of installers. If we move house again, I'll use them again, no hesitation.

I’ve had heating cover from AOS for a few years after bad experiences with BG. In contrast, AOS doesn’t try and condemn your boiler each year and their engineers come on time, are tidy and do what they say they will. There was a real test a few days ago for them. Just before a Bank Holiday, the hot water stopped working and I saw a leak near the boiler. The phone was answered by super-efficient Abbie who was rapidly able to ascertain what the problem was and arrange an engineer visit the next day. I don’t usually buy extended warranties or maintenance plans but I wouldn’t be without AOS cover and am sure they apply the same standards to one-off jobs.

The initial callout, not an emergency was completed very much to our satisfaction within 3 hours, from this a recommendation was made by the engineer to make a modification , to eliminate the problem occurring again. This work was carried out at the date and time agreed, once again to our satisfaction. All this work was carried out under our maintenance contract. This a can do firm and has been for the last 20 years to my knowledge

Having moved to an old house with a very old oil boiler we were delighted to be recommended AOS by friend of a friend as a solution to heating the house. Had it not been for them we would have doubted that such a system would be possible for the house, albeit we were comprehensively upgrading and renovating. From the outset, the company was courteous, and prompt and answered the many queries that arose from the planning stage to the final commissioning. They liaised with our plumber and electrician to ensure the installation was as seamless as possible. In addition, they helped overcome supply problems to ensure the system was installed so that we could take advantage of the government Renewable Heat Incentive deal that was closing at the end of March 22. So far so good, but as energy prices rise, it is a system that one needs to get to understand, with its multiple thermostats and timing options.

Everyone in AOS from start to finish were very helpful, willing to discuss and answer all my questions politely and patiently, and the process went completely to plan. The team of young guys were always punctual, polite, worked competently and knowledgeably. I was very pleasantly impressed to see such a young team doing such complicated and responsible work completely confidently. The pump is now installed and is working as it should be. I am very pleased with the whole installation process and felt I was in good hands the whole time. I had solar panels installed earlier to help with the running cost of the pump.

Installing a heat pump is more complicated than a boiler but AOS were extremely supportive and professional through this process. All the staff I encountered had the same helpful attitude and the standard of the final work was exceptional. First time a plumber has labelled all the consumer facing switches and sockets. Great support with the associated paperwork as well. Very strongly recommend.

AOS installed an air source heat pump. Initial visits were made to ensure we understood the system and how it would work for us. A survey was done with recommendations on what alterations were needed to our existing radiators and hot water tank. No pressure was put on us to go ahead with the work with the result that we had time for reflection. Questions that we had were always answered promptly. An installation date and price were agreed and both were adhered to. The installation team arrived promptly, were knowledgeable, polite, competent and hard working. Once installed, the system was explained fully to us, with a number to phone if there was a problem. There were none and we don't expect there to be, but are confident that AOS will be there for us in that unlikely event.

We contacted AOS on 11th January this year for an initial enquiry about an air source heat pump installation at our house. I had found them on the Which Trusted Traders site and subsequently received a very positive recommendation from a friend who had a heat pump installed by them. From my initial call through to completion of the installation today, we have found the company a pleasure to deal with. Based on our EPC information the staff were able to send me an initial proposal, with some options for us to consider re-replacement of radiators and hot water tank. This document also gave us a very good idea of the whole process but was subject to a full site survey. The surveyor did a very thorough job, explained everything to us clearly and after some further discussions we were sent a firm proposal, which was again thorough and set out all the costs, payment terms and other considerations very clearly. On accepting the proposal a date was arranged for the installation as soon as possible to give us time to apply for the RHI scheme. The installation team arrived at 8am 'on the dot' and completed the complex operation over three and a half days in a highly professional manner, taking great care to protect the flooring and clean up thoroughly after each day's work. I am confident that the after sales service will be as good as our experience with AOS so far suggests, and we would thoroughly recommend this company to anyone considering a heat pump installation.

I was recommended AOS by a friend who had used AOS for the installation of her heat pump, and I am totally satisfied with her recommendation. When I expressed an interest in AOS, someone came to explain what would be involved and when I said I wanted to go ahead, I paid a deposit and someone came to do a full heat-pump survey. I accepted the recommendations of installing new radiators and work started in January. I was told it would last about three days and it did. The men who came seemed very efficient, hard-working, competent and polite and were easy to have around the house. When a different trade, e.g. an electrician was needed he came on time, so there was no hold up. The workmen tidied up each evening and vacuumed thoroughly. I have now been left the paperwork for applying for the RHI. A firm to be thoroughly recommended.

Compared three three air source heat pump installers, one wanted £471 for a survey which would only be taken off the final bill not leaving us with a choice of supplier and they quoted without visiting the property, the second visited and quoted but was a Daikin supplier and the estimated RHI funds would of been lower. The first company also estimated RHI higher than AOS because they quoted a system with higher water temperature. AOS stated they would install at 45 degrees and guarantee temperatures as per the heating engineer survey so the RHI estimate was higher. So we went ahead over four days they removed the old LPG boiler installed the heat pump replaced most radiators and upgraded our electric RCD unit. We had some small issues with the plastering, a leaky value and fine tuning the bathroom temperature but AOS quickly return and fix all these issues. The actual RHI was a just few pence lower than estimated, but significantly higher than other estimates and the one off payment replacement scheme coming in March. The RHI will greatly assist with the electricity bills over the next seven years. So AOS was not perfect but very good and delivered. I was concerned about, reaching the temperatures in the rooms, the hotness of the hot water and the energy consumption. Most rooms exceed targets and the values are turned down, the bathroom makes the target of 20 degrees, now adjustments have been made. The hot is piping hot, the energy consumption seems about right.

Our boiler failed terminally on Boxing Day 2021. We knew our old boiler & pipe work were non standard & more often found in commercial properties & so several companies declined to help. Initial contact with AOS over the Xmas & New year holidays was understandably slow but on Tues 4th Jan 2022 they gave me a survey date of Thur 6th Jan. They arrived on time and despite the unusual setup seemed happy to take on the job & a quote arrived the same day. We feared the worst but it was very reasonable. Work began on 11th Jan & the 1.5 day estimate took 2 days due to the complexity. We are very happy with the result. The engineers were polite, tidy, explained what they were doing & why, took away the old boiler and all rubbish & cleaned up well. They replaced several items they had not specifically quoted for at no extra cost and clearly explained the operating instructions. There were two things that perhaps could have been better. The first was a little confusion over the removal of the old roof flue and tile repair. We thought the engineer said they would do that but it turns out there was some miscommunication & they recommended it be done by a roofing specialist to ensure integrity of the roof tiling. Once explained it was clear & made sense. The other minor issue was we thought the wall filling where the old timer control was removed could have been better.

A neighbour of mine introduced me to AOS and I began my journey switching from Oil to ASHP. I procrastinated about the switch for some time. AOS were patient and always happy to discuss my concerns around pump placement, noise levels, efficiencies, etc. Eventually, I pulled the trigger and AOS were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Every person I’ve spoken to within the company has been friendly, courteous and professional. The install team were fantastic. As for the ASHP, I needn’t have worried, it’s super quiet, keeps the house toasty and quite frankly, I should’ve switched sooner. It’s so quiet we don’t even know it’s on. Our radiators are now quiet too. If you are on the fence then don’t hesitate like I did, you won’t regret it. I wanted to replace a boiler with an air source heat pump system. I sought several quotes and weighed up the balance of quality and cost before ultimately going with AOS. This involved installing an Ecodan heat pump, new radiators, a pressurised hot water cylinder, and also replacing a huge amount of the plumbing. I could not be happier with the decision. AOS' engineers (including Lee Wildego) were all excellent, as were the team online (including Charlotte Owen). They were thoughtful and kind, and never patronising about questions. They were thorough and careful. They accommodated a variety of requests wherever they could manage it (including removing a heavy item from the loft and installing a new shower). When the work was done, they left the house in excellent condition. They arranged a follow up check at around a month, which was also excellent. Appropriate covid measures were followed where required. The experience from start to finish was reassuring and highly competent. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend all members of this team.

Everything about the project to replace my old back boiler was excellent. Lee talked us through how we might execute the installation where other companies has just shrugged and said it would be difficult. Patiently explored different options ofr location and pipe runs without just opting for the easiest. Fitting team of (Different) Lee and Brad were extremeley professional, did a very neat job of the installation and most importantly were very respectful of our home. The team was also flexible in that we changed one of the rad specs late in the day but they were very accomodating. I started out a little trepidatious about getting a new installation but am now convinced we did the right thing. Could we have got this done cheaper? I dont know but for the care and professionalism I think we got very good value for money.

After seeing my neighbour having AOS Heating to replace his boiler and seeing there workmanship I decided to request a quote. The surveyor was very helpful explaining the different options available. The quote was itemised covering every detail. I agreed the quote and the office staff contacted me for a convenient 2 day slot. Lee and apprentice Sam arrived at 8 am and cracked on removing all the old system having first laid down mats and sheets to protect the stairs and floors, I was amazed how much they got done on the first day. The whole job was completed by the 2nd day afternoon, tested, made good etc. Home was left clean and heating and hot water all working satisfactory. I would thoroughly recommend AOS Heating.

AOS replaced our oil-fired boiler with a heat pump in October 2021. At our request, they also replaced most of the radiators and installed a full set of thermostatic radiator valves. The process from initial discussions to completed installation took nearly four months, but part of this delay was caused by the need to obtain a satisfactory EPC certificate so that we could apply for a government grant. AOS were very good at ensuring that we complied with all the relevant regulatory requirements. This was a complex project but it was carried out very efficiently. Their staff were always courteous and helpful, and during the installation they left the house clean and tidy at the end of each day. We were left with the feeling that this had been a thoroughly professional job. We chose AOS because several of our neighbours had recommended them to us. We would have no hesitation in providing similar recommendations in the future.

We have used AOS for about fifteen years. Recently we had to have the very old water tanks in the loft replaced. Tony and Jack arrived punctually and laid down dust sheets. They worked all day with as little disruption to us as possible. It was good to see Jack, the young man, gaining knowledge and experience, working with Tony, the senior professional. My gas boiler needed replacing following an annual service check by AOS which highlighted a problem necessitating its replacement. The installation was carried out by Tony Owen and Sam and was planned to be completed in one day. They arrived promptly at the scheduled time and carried out the work efficiently and within the timescale. They ensured that my property was protected with dust covers where ever they had to work ensuring that the materials were located without hindrance to me. At the end of their work, Tony explained to me what they had done during the installation, highlighting a small electrical problem which meant a further return visit to resolve at a later date. He went through the documentation he left with me. Sam was very courteous when wishing to use some cleaning facilities to assist him in tidying up before they finished to leave. Altogether, very professional and efficient work carried out by AOS and would highly recommend them.

We used AOS Heating who are based in Cheshunt. We arrived at a quote that we agreed on and which was kept to. The installers arrived when they said they would, 8.00 am, worked all day except for a 20-minute lunch and left between 4.00 and 4.30 pm. They agreed with us what would happen were as new radiators had to be installed as well as the pump, piping and a new immersion tank. They worked cleanly vacuum cleaning at the end of each day. The work was completed on time. The men who came were polite and pleasant company when we chatted to them.

AOS EEHS Ltd installed an Ecodan air source heat pump and Grant cylinder in our property. We were impressed with how thoroughly the survey was undertaken and our questions addressed. They promptly provided all the information required to support our Green Homes Grant and Renewable Heating Initiative applications. The office support staff were very helpful in this respect, explaining the options and requirements. The installation appears to have been carried out to a high standard. This included re-routing power cables, removing gas pipes and the old boiler, upgrading radiators and, of course, finding suitable pipe access points to plumb in the heat pump. They took measures to keep costs down by re-using some of the old radiators in smaller rooms to avoid replacing like-for-like. The installation team were thorough and professional. They were good at cleaning up after themselves, so that there were no issues at the end of each day. They made good the areas where parts of the old system were removed. It is still summer, so time will tell how well the heating works, however the hot water system generates more than enough water for a days use.

AOS' sales explanation of what we would get and how it would work was clear and comprehensive. Their quotation covered exactly what we had asked for and offered a reasonable price. Their offered installation date was well within the timeframe they suggested initially. They arrived on time with all the correct materials (barring one radiator which was the wrong size, quickly corrected), and did a very competent installation job within the time they said it would take. They were polite, helpful and hard-working throughout, and made a good job of tidying up after themselves. So far the system works as expected. I would recommend AOS to anyone looking to convert to a heat pump.

AOS have just completed ripping out our Ducted warm air heating system and installing a standard boiler/radiator system. They also removed the hot and cold tanks in the loft, and most rooms had to have the floors pulled up to run the pipes in. During the initial survey we were given the option of various different Boilers and radiators and explained the benefits of each. We did change our mind during the quote process a few times but this was dealt with helpfully and professionally by the office team. When the work started, I was expecting a really messy job given what needed doing, but every day they covered things up with dust sheets and hoovered up when they were done. Once the work was completed all the floors were made good and carpets re-laid in a very tidy manner. To look at the house now, you wouldn't know they had been here. The work was completed a day early and to the agreed price by a helpful polite and professional team.

An excellent job all round. A friendly, administrative approach to begin, with a visit (during lockdown) from an efficient surveyor to assess the project, quickly followed by a clear comprehensive quotation. After contract confirmation, helpful advice on the grant application, with the admin team keeping us up to date on all matters prior to the installation date. The team of plumbers/ engineers arrived on time on the expected date, (and on the following two days) and got on with the project in a well organised and efficient manner. At the end of each day, they packed away and cleaned up all areas before departure. At all times they were polite and careful of our home and kept us informed. Once the installation was complete, the team leader gave us a comprehensive guide to the system. Following settlement of the invoice, the office team have forwarded the relevant documentation and warranties. Unfortunately, the GreenHomes Grant office were not so efficient, the voucher arriving to late to be used, almost 4 months after application.

We were introduced to AOS Energy Efficient Heating Systems Limited by a previous satisfied customer of theirs. We needed to replace an oil-fired CH boiler which was over 40 years old and the idea of going fully electric was very attractive, especially with the Government's green incentives and the fact that with a heat pump you get out more than you put in. We made enquiries of several friends and neighbours who had used AOS to make similar conversions, and they were all enthusiastic. "Very clean and tidy", "extremely good plumbers" were typical comments. We found AOS's approach to be very open and honest about issues and possible problems; above all, they are specialists in this field and we felt confident that they knew what they were doing. The date for the start of the installation arrived, and AOS were there on time, began work with no delays and completed on schedule. So the comments we had received turned out to be no exaggeration. Since the system was commissioned we have had no problems and the house has been warm and comfortable despite recent cold weather, including hailstorms!

Sam and his team installed a large air source heat pump, installed 18 radiators, converted two water cylinders into one all whilst working round an oil fired boiler that had to be retained for other purposes. They were on site when they said they would be and always tidied up at the end of the day before leaving. There were many unforeseen challenges along the way which were overcome without quibble or additional cost. At the end of every day, we were updated with progress and goals for the following day. In addition, we were given plenty of advanced warning for when we were going to be without electricity, hot water and heating which was a godsend whilst three of us were working from home. The AOS team arrived promptly each day and were very conscientious right from the start. All of their colleagues wore masks, put down sheets, and made sure to leave the house as clean and tidy as you could hope for. AOS Energy Efficient Heating Systems Ltd recently installed an air source heat pump and replaced the hot water cylinder and most of the radiators in my home. Everything was completed according to the schedule. Staff in the sales and service departments were helpful and knowledgeable and communication was clear and easy. The installation team were pleasant, polite and obliging. They made an extra effort to meet the particular requirements of this job. There were a couple of issues with radiators but these were resolved satisfactorily. Everyone has been utterly professional and I'm very happy with the result. I would definitely recommend this company.

My air source heating did not reach the require temp. booked a service. The previous service was only 6 months ago the office told me that I should have the mobile thermostat in the warmest room. Rubbish. cost of service £150 +vat...I was only asking the system to reach 20 degrees it never makes it. The engineer was helpful and obliging and suggested that the anti freeze/inhibitor be topped up. Phoned the office to pay extra for it. Shock horror they want to charge £250 + vat just to top up. This was on top of the service charge. I have insulated walls and attic with double glazing. How disappointed I am with the system. When it was installed the service was excellent and I had no complaints. Whilst this has been a cold winter to have a system that only reaches 14/15 degree is not good enough.

I needed AOS's help to repair a bent central heating pipe. Although the initial quote was high, they came and did the necessary work which turned out to be less than envisaged and so they reduced the fee without my asking. Tom (the engineer) turned up on time and worked without fuss. I was impressed by the fact that they didn't do anything unnecessary, for example the anti-freeze levels didn't in fact need topping up. Recommended.

From start to finish a very professional service. Max and his team were polite, did a very good job and went the extra mile to do any of the little extras that might have needed doing - I was very impressed.

I was most impressed with the service provided by this company. The office staff were invariably helpful and knowledgeable and always responded promptly to my requests for information. The installation team were highly professional, efficient and friendly. They always kept us informed about what they were going to do and ensured that they left the house tidy and with access to hot water each evening. They also supplied electric fan heaters whilst the central heating was disconnected. When we experienced a couple of teething problems after the system was commissioned, these were rectifed on the same day that they were reported. I would highly recommend this company to anyone considering a similar installation.

AOS answered the emergency call of my tenants, whose boiler had broken down and was beyond economical repair. They quoted competitively for a replacement boiler and installed within a couple of days - excellent service given that it was just a couple of (very cold) days before Christmas! Thank you, AOS

AOS installed an air heat pump system for us in June 2020. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently by professional installers and we were initially happy. However, when we subsequently had our property re-assessed for energy efficiency to claim the RHI rebate, we found that the energy efficiency had actually got worse on water heating than with our old oil boiler, with our EPC rating for water heating falling from average (with our old boiler) to poor (with the new air pump.) This risk was never explained to us when we signed up to have the work done. The EPC is a public document and can influence future buyers of your property. The “poor” rating for our new system’s water heating efficiency was most definitely not what we expected. Check carefully before you have one of these systems installed. The efficiency improvements you expect for your home may not happen in practice. They didn’t for us.

We have found the whole process with AOS of installation from survey, to quote, to installation to after sales to have been of an excellent standard. Every point of contact every time has done what they have said they would do without fail. Every point of contact has been knowledgeable, polite, efficient and has taken ownership of any issues and dealt with them efficiently. We feel the installation has been executed to an extremely high standard of workmanship and that we are in safe, reliable hands going forward. We have a warmer, "greener" house and are more than satisfied with our choice of supplier who has got us to where we are today.

We contacted AOS, explained our problem - no hot water or heating - boiler just not working. The arranged a date for someone to look at the problem. Person turned up on time, we explained the problem. A thorough inspection was made and the result explained to us with the options available. We chose a replacement boiler and because I am 80 and disabled, got priority treatment in setting a date. On the day, two people turned up and the job duly completed. various ancillary probes found and explained with solutions suggested. The whole experience was excellent and we will almost certainly sign up for a maintenance contract.

The extra mile was also gone in terms of putting our airing cupboard back together after the new boiler was installed and doing a neat repair on the wall in the breakfast room. Neat and immaculately tidy - even knowledgeably replaced the flooring under the boiler as part of the price so as not to delay work. Asked me to review and if happy at every step - couldn’t be better. Reece is a new member and will clearly be an asset. Both he and his colleague (sorry he did introduce himself but I can’t remember!) worked through lunch from early morning and stayed until late to get everything just perfect. Next day a minor problem was rectified by a future engineer who had liaised with the fitters and solved it promptly, asking if I was happy with all before getting me to check. All in all a really good experience. One minor issue - received an invoice, then 3 follow up calls to pay within 48 hours. When you have had one working day disrupted by work then kind of hassled this seemed a bit ‘off’. In the end I paid within 4 days but it was irritating. Although the bill was ok to be fair for the excellent job done. All in all thanks AOS - recommend!

AOS installed an air source heat pump and mains pressure hot water cylinder for us, which took 5 days. The installers worked very hard to get the complex system up and running as quickly as possible, but were meticulous and took the time to totally re-plumb the airing cupboard to make all the components fit neatly in there ! They were very today, put dustsheets down to protect the floor and swept up all their mess each day before they left. I have to say they provided the best experience I have ever had of plumbing work.

Job completed on time. Team were very professional. There were a couple of leaks which were sorted very quickly including one which we discovered on the Sunday following installation. Apart from that we were very pleased that we chose AOS for the installation of our heat pump system and would highly recommend them.

Our friends recommended AOS, they were very happy with the installation, product & performance. The sales team took time to explain the operation, costs, options & installation process, they answered all of our questions. Installation took place 4 weeks after placing the order, installation took 3 days, 1 of these days was installing new radiators. The heating engineers were professional & hardworking. We are very pleased with the quality of the installation, the plumbing & electrical wiring is very neat. Any mess was cleaned up as they went. We cannot comment on the operation of the central heating as the weather has been mild. The air source heat pump heats the water from 3:00 to 6:00am, there is plenty of hot water for 2 and the temperature is fine. The air source heat pump is positioned outside our kitchen window you can just hear the fan with the window open, we don’t expect any issues with noise. There is no vibration when operating. We have no hesitation in recommending AOS, they are a professional operation marketing a superior product.

Failed to inform me that one one of my rental properties had a dangerous unvented cylinder. Failed to perform a single annual service/safety check in 6 years. Never sent me a single service report detailing what they had done. Very poor communication and on top of that very rude staff.

The engineer arrived on time. He was efficient, effective and very personable. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently with minimal interaction. Social distancing was observed throughout. He noted and reported a minor issue and I have been advised by the controller that this will be resolved next time they have an engineer in the area. I have been pleased with the system since it was installed and can not fault their service.

The communication with AOS, the expertise of the engineer and the work of the two installers was excellent. From start to finish, I was so impressed with the service and dedication.

EOS installed my new Worcester central heating boiler. They arrived on time for the job and made sure protection for our carpets was in place before they started work. The job was completed within the time frame they said and left our clean and tidy. The installer from EOS seemed to really know his business and I was very impressed with his knowledge. I have used EOS for my boiler servicing and central heating maintenance for several years and have always been pleased with their work. I received several estimates for my boiler replacement but overall EOS worked out the cheapest, and hopefully the best.

Installation of an air-source heat pump, and all the equipment to create a new system for delivering central heating via existing radiators and hot water via existing tank. Delivered on time and no new costs incurred. three days work that was inevitably a huge intrusion, done with courtesy and consideration, and leaving the house clean and tidy. The initial marketing via a public presentation was highly professional. The survey and negotiation of contract was thorough and enabled us to take this seemingly large step with confidence, but I would say that the large amount of documentation (some 100 pages in all) delivered by email attachment was difficult to study and handle, as it seemed designed for study on paper instead of on the screen. ie it was on A4 portrait pages, not the layout of a computer screen. Help in applying for the Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) was excellent. As it is July, we will not be able to evaluate the performance of the heating system for 3-4 months.

AOS have been extremely professional throughout this conversion from gas central heating to air source heat pump. We were visited by a very helpful and knowledgeable site surveyor, then went through five iterations of the proposal until it exactly met our requirements. We were delayed due to separate work on our solar panels but AOS were extremely patient, then when we were all ready to go Covid hit and everything went on hold. AOS scheduled us in as soon as possible after lockdown lifted and last week did a very professional, neat, and tidy Job, as much as you can be when you’re changing all radiators, lifting floors, drilling through walls and chasing into plaster. They cleaned up after themselves every night and took away all rubbish and old equipment. The staff on site were experienced, polite and careful of our home and belongings. We’ve already recommended them to one set of friends who want to make the same changes that we have.

We are now the proud possessors of an air source heat pump, new hot water cylinder and seven new radiators! The installation process has been efficient, pain free and extremely well organised. In addition, the removal of our old equipment, including the oil tank, was done quickly and very competently. Our installation team of Sam, Ricky, Rhys, plus some bonus help from Ben, Max and Lee, has been excellent, all very reliable, polite and friendly, and obviously very competent. Also, our dealings with the office have been hassle free and the responses to our e-mails have been quick and informative. The nice thing has been the coordination of the whole process which has run smoothly from start to finish. The teams have arrived each day ready for an 8 o’ clock start and all deliveries came on time, so the logistics were also very well managed. We would like to thank everyone who has been involved in our job. We have been very happy with all aspects and are happy to recommend AOS to anyone who is thinking of having an air source heat pump. Having used AOS before in a previous property we had no hesitation using them again to update and relocate our very old boiler system and rusted radiators to a combi unit with new radiators throughout. The lads (Ryan, Reece & Max) were polite & friendly, extremely hard working, they took great care to clean up and leave everything tidy for us each night and even finished the job ahead of schedule. I have always been keen to help the environment, have a solar water system as well as solar PV panels and was intrigued by a friends Air Source Heat installation. But I always thought my house wasn't suitable as it wasn't a new build (1963) or very well insulated. Then I saw a meeting planned for a presentation by AOS locally and went along to find out more. I was convinced there and then that it was something I wanted to do... I just needed to roll it in to a larger house renovation project, so started the process of planning and estimating. We had an old oil fired boiler that was in need of replacing some time in the near future and having done all the sums, this was almost a no brainer. With the current RHI scheme, we anticipate we should almost get the entire installation cost back over a seven year period. Today as I write, we have experienced our first day after the system was installed and we are very impressed. Not only with the system but the install as well. The installers were young but knowledgeable and very helpful, they were so neat and tidy clearing everything up after themselves. We couldn't recommend them highly enough.

The installation went very smoothly, friendly and efficient installers, generally very good service all round. We are very pleased.

The workmen arrived at the stated time, took care to protect the floors etc, and worked hard and well throughout the four days of the installation. As an example of their thoughtfulness, when some dirty water came out of one of the radiators they had to remove, causing a mess on the carpet, they were concerned to clean this up before leaving that day.

AOS recently replaced my oil-fired boiler with a Mitsubishi Ecodan air source heat pump. They also replaced the hot water cylinder and fitted new radiators throughout the house. Everyone we dealt with at AOS has been so helpful, from Andy and Neil in Sales, Lee for the initial survey and the post installation checks, Charlotte in the office and of course the excellent installation team, who completed the installation remarkably efficiently and to a very high standard. The heat pump itself has been very effective; a nice warm house and unbelievably low running costs. Plus, of course, the RHI grant that will cover much of our installation costs.

Our oil had run out one week before they were due to install the heat pump so we were worried with covid19 restrictions being enforced that we might have our installation deferred.. 2 AOS men Ryan and Max turned up on schedule and worked methodically for 3 days and left us with a working central heating and hot water system. Pipe work and electrics very neat, they cleared up at the end of each day and took all the rubbish away on the last day. We have not had to call them back with any problems so all good. The company are easy to work with and happy to help the customer with any problems we might have. Thank you AOS.

5 day programmed job was completed in 4 days. Very tidy team clearing away tools and cleaning up each night. Machine appears to be doing what it says on the tin. Technically the machine seems capable of more wizz bang options than we will ever need. There is a very straight forward video explaining programming which even I understood. Back up and advice from the office was excellent.

AOS installed a heat pump, a new hot-water cylinder and replaced eight radiators after completing a survey to decide which radiators needed replacing and what size pump was needed. The work was done on time and to budget and appears to be of a very high standard. Our previous heating system was temperamental to put it mildly, and now we are very happy: the house is warmer and the water is piping hot.

AOS have provided an excellent service--from the sales process, to quotation, to timing and installation. We have only had the heat pump for a few days but are very happy with the product too.

From initial contact to completion, AOS were superb! Our existing heating system failed and we needed immediate help. Sales support was good with the explanation of exactly how the system worked and explaining how to gain government financial support made our decision easier to make. The two people who came to install the system were amazing. They were very tidy and conscientious of the disruption as we had no heating over a 4 day period in January. In addition, because we had a failed system, we were pushed up the list and were the first installation of the New Year. Everything was explained and expectations were met. The office administration was good and were challenge at a difficult time over Christmas and New Year. We could not have asked for better service due to the circumstances. We are happy with every aspect of the service from AOS and would highly recommend installing this system which in the longer term will save money.

I had a heat pump and new tank installed by AOS, as well as connecting to existing underfloor heating. They sent me an exact quote ahead of time, and completed the works exactly as planned. I found the process throughout was very good: the initial visit, keeping in touch with the office during the planning, and the final installation. I found that the whole team from the office to the installers and people at our house were very friendly, and they handled a few unexpected changes excellently. I would highly recommend them, both for the fair pricing, and the peace-of-mind knowing that they were very easy to get in touch with and keep me updated on the progress.

The two young men who removed the old boiler and then installed the new one, were both polite and professional.when they first arrived they put down dust sheets and were very careful to keep mess to a minimum. they installed the boiler, gave us a rundown on the work that had been done gave advice on operation and answered our questions clearly. I don't normally write reviews but I must say AOS sent 2 engineer s to fit a new boiler system in my home, it took only 1 and 1/2 days the boys were very polite the workmanship was excellent and took time to explain things, they tidied up. Really, really happy.

My boiler broke down and we had no heating. I was experiencing difficulties with another service provider whom I am in contract with for emergencies. I contacted AOS and spoke to Kerri, who had an engineer out within a hour. The fault was diagnosed and repaired by a professional engineer, all in the same day. I cannot express my gratitude to this company for their efficient, professional and speedy service. The price we paid was half of what I was quoted elsewhere. I called AOS to service my old boiler Several parts needed replacing which the engineer explained to me he could do and the costings however due to the age of the boiler and its condition I was probably going to need a complete new boiler replacement soon. The engineer answered any questions i had and left me with a decision to make I phoned him the following day and decided to go ahead with a new purchase Throughout the whole process the engineer was extremely helpful explaining choices and the costings of the work to be carried out I am very pleased with the work that was carried out he also corrected some old pipework that I no longer needed. The work was followed up with a good aftercare service.

The installation engineers arrived promptly each morning, were polite, tidy and completed the job in the specified timescale. They made a considerable effort to minimise the amount of visible pipework and position the unit as inconspicuously as possible. I would thoroughly recommend this company to anyone thinking of having air source heating installed.

Have used Anthony Owen since he was a one-man operation many years ago - he was the only engineer in our area authorised to deal with the sealed heating system in our new build house. We've since moved. This was just a service and put in a new valve that was jammed in a towel rail. Matt our engineer removed his shoes as he entered the house and did the boiler service. When checking the ventilation (ours is an old 1985 boiler) he pointed out the interior vent had a fly screen behind it which I wasn't aware of and this could get blocked with dirt. He unscrewed the cover and carefully cut out the fly screen with a Stanley knife. I was impressed - I'd rather have flies than carbon monoxide. Up to the bathroom and Matt managed to unjam the errant valve so no need for a new one. A very knowledgeable, pleasant and polite engineer. The following day I had a voice mail from Kerri in the office demanding (in the politest possible way) my bank details in order she could refund me the cost of the valve and labour I'd paid in advance. I can't imagine how you can get better service than that?

I have just had an issue with our air source heat pump resolved. As always, AOS have been superb to work with. I like the manner in which it approaches issues and the way this approach is followed up by staff. They are all highly competent and very professional. Communications are excellent and as a result I always know what is going on or proposed at each stage of the process. I can highly recommend AOS.

I left telephone message my boiler dead. Next morning AOS rang took all details, hour later engineer arrived confirming replacement needed due to boiler age. Office staff were extremely supportive due to me having health problems managed for replacement to be done within week. Tony the engineer arrived 8am,he explained all he would have to do and kept me informed of things. He was great, tidy, through clean worker and very pleasant, I felt comfortable with him in my home. When he left in evening I had hot water and heat. He returned following morning for approximately 1-2hours,with an apprentice for final checking, clearing, paperwork. He explained thoroughly things to young lad, I was very impressed and would have no hesitation in recommending.

We were very keen to reduce our contribution to climate change and so wanted to move off our oil boiler. AOS have installed air source heat pumps in a number of our neighbouring properties and came highly recommended. They made the whole process very easy and installed new radiators with minimal mess. The new heat pump is incredibly quiet (quieter than the old boiler system!) and our house is already up to temperature and feeling nice and warm. All paperwork also completed very promptly.

Absolutely delighted with the installation of our heat pump, works like magic! I had a bit of a wobble when the oil line was cut off, hoping that a large bungalow on a very windy hill would be warm enough with this new arrangement. I remarked, when it was first turned on, "Oh, this radiator's hot!" Greater surprises came at bedtime when I sank into an up- to- the- neck hot bath, wonderful!
