Ableworld Reading

I found Ableworld to be most helpful when I needed a stairlift to be installed in quick time ready for the discharge of my husband from hospital. From my initial enquiry call to the Reading branch right through to the quotation, Installation & placing the order with head office I found everyone treated me in a friendly professional manner. It was Zac a friendly & knowledgeable engineer who came out to do the quotation, there was no pushy selling involved which you can get from other companies, he just gave me all the information that was required & answered all my questions. Dan the engineer who came out to do the installation was also a very nice friendly guy and completed the task in next to no time, he also explained how everything worked & made sure I understood it all before he left. Unfortunately our circumstances changed as sadly my husband passed away shortly after the stairlift had been fitted but Ableworld were absolutely brilliant, they booked a visit for Dan to come back a few days later to uninstall it and have also arranged a refund. From start to finish I cannot praise this company more for all their professionalism, helpfulness, ongoing communication & aftercare, what a great team of people you have. ..........Thank You Ableworld !

We visited Ableworld in Reading and were impressed by their stock and sales assistants. We asked for a stair lift referral and were pleased when we were contacted within the hour to arrange a visit. The chap, Dan visited the next day and what impressed us most was the fact he was an engineer and not a hard salesman. He had through knowledge of the product and was neither patronizing or pushy. We saw several other stair lift companies but easily settled on the Handicare 1100 from Ableworld as it was the most technically advanced, the least intrusive and the best value for money. Decision made and we called for an installation appointment which was a few days later. Dan did an excellent installation and explained and demonstrated the product very well. We had an issue with the lift a week later, but one quick call and the engineer, Dan, came by and fixed the issue with no fuss or cost. I have since recommended the stair lift and Ableworld to a friend of mine. This product is head and shoulders above others on the market. Thoroughly recommended.

Engineer arrived on time, worked quietly & efficiently. Installation of stairlift completed in good time, with no mess. Excellent communication with head office, friendly & helpful staff. Engineer James was 5***** Polite & friendly. Would recommend Ableworld to anyone!

My mother’s electric chair was not charging properly so called Ableworld in Reading where she had purchased it. Literally a couple of hours later it was collected by their service engineer, David. The chair was serviced, two new batteries fitted and returned the next afternoon. Fantastic service, cannot be faulted.
