We have over 800 mobility products so you’ll definitely find something to suit your needs. Our friendly store staff can help you find a product to meet your requirements. For convenience we also have an online store for many of our products and offer Click and Collect at your local store.

As a Which Trusted Trader we have a highly skilled engineering Department that provides servicing and repairs for lots of different mobility products, at reasonable rates. We provide servicing and repairs on wheelchairs, stairlifts, mobility scooters and powerchairs, all by our fully trained and experienced in-house engineers.

I purchased a Sterling mobility scooter earlier this year. I cant express enough how helpful and kind the staff at the Southport store were. Their knowledge and advice was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. From my test drive to fitting a back pack shopping bag with walking stick holders and waterproof control panel cover. They even helped me a few days later with a little problem I had with the charger, due to my having difficulty with arthritic hands. Nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend Able World for choice of mobility scooters, at Excellent prices and everything a disabled person could wish to find. Well worth a visit.

My husband and I have found the service we have received was excellent. Our installation was complicated as we needed the old lift removing and this was difficult well done. Chris was very helpful beyond the call of duty.

Thursday - I saw advert in champion newspaper. Friday - visited ableworld, viewed the chairlift, had a chat and arranged for a survey. Monday - Engineer arrived on time, measured up and explained what to expect during installation. Date arrange. Friday - Engineer on time, installation took 2 hrs. No mess, no inconvenience was given a full explanation of use and emergency numbers and only when he was sure I fully understood and was satisfied was payment made.

Viewing, costings, ordering and installation took only 5 days (including a weekend). Full marks to Jill at Southport and to Chris our engineer, for their very kind attention, courtesy, professionalism and overall friendliness and understanding which made the whole operation painless. The stairlift is operating well to date, and has made a big difference.
