Alan has undertaken a variety of jobs for us over the years and can turn his hand to anything within his remit. No job is too large or small and he always finds a solution to a problem with minimal costs. He is highly reliable and always responds and arrives when he says he will. His work is of high quality and he never leaves a job unfinished. We would highly recommend.

Alan has been the consummate professional throughout the work he did for us, if only all tradesmen were like him. As a builder he took down an internal wall for us that a structural engineer incorrectly identified as non-load bearing. Alan *correctly* identified it as load bearing before he risked taking it down. He then liaised directly with the structural engineer to sort out a remedial support solution and got it implemented in record time. Alan's quick thinking and actions meant that we didn't have all manner of issues with a load bearing wall being removed and also the project was hardly delayed at all. As an electrician he worked with our house's antiquated electrical system and installed the lighting for our new kitchen, all of which works perfectly. I know it wasn't easy and Alan had several problems to overcome to get everything working as we wanted. He also provided guidance on what goods to buy and when (I wouldn't have had a clue without his help). To top it all he was scrupulously honest with his billing and was up front with how much something would cost before going ahead and doing it. I'll have no hesitation recommending Alan to anyone I know who's looking for a highly experienced builder or electrician.

Rewired existing boiler control wiring and fitted new cylinder control, wireless room stat and programmer. Fitted 19 new LED downlights. Replaced extractor fan in downstairs toilet. All of this was done over the Easter Weekend when I was away from home. The work was done to an agreed schedule and budget. This trader really stands out as a brilliant electrician and builder (he has done electrical and building work for me before). His work is always first class. He is extremely professional, always very helpful and communicative and keeps in touch after the work is finished. The house was left immaculate and everything worked perfectly. AC Electrical & Building Services were recommended to me on Friday 1st March when an electrical fault within my home tripped out all of the electrics. Alan was able to attend my property early the following day 2nd March. He was professional and helpful, continually talking me through what he was doing to find the fault and indeed explaining in detail how he was doing this. Fortunately within a couple of hours he was able to identify the fault and rectify the problem. A personable and professional service, kept me updated and a reasonable budget too. I would definitely and recommend and if necessary would have no hesitation in using AC Electrical in the future.

We had a water leak and needed someone to come and check the light was safe to use. I searched on here and saw Alan had great reviews. I contacted Alan on the Monday and he said he would come and have a look the next day. Alan arrived at the arranged time and carried out checks to the light and confirmed it was ok to use. It was all sorted quickly and at a reasonable cost. I would highly recommend his services.

Urgently looking for an Electrician to fix an issue with some lighting and to replace some switches. Alan identified an on-going issue we had with the light in our utility room which he fixed quickly. Very thorough in his work and a friendly honest professional I would recommend.

Alan carried out the installation of an outdoor porch light, bathroom LED mirror and a wireless boiler thermostat switch. He was responsive when I first contacted him and provided a very reasonable quotation. The electrical work was carried out efficiently and to a very high standard. Alan took the time to explain how he would install each device and followed up after the work was completed to check that everything was functioning well. He is very honest, polite and conscientious, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

We hired AC Electrical to install a pendant light in our lounge. Alan was extremely professional, friendly and helpful. The light was fiddly to put up but he did a great job. He worked quietly and efficiently and was also very patient with me when he needed to return because I damaged the first light! All in all a great service. Will use again.

Alan came recommended by another trader who had done some great work for us. He did not disappoint. He returned my call promptly and agreed to call back after Christmas to arrange a date, which he did. He arrived promptly, moved our router as requested and completed the work quickly and efficiently. He was at pains to ensure he had correctly understood what we wanted, and the price was according to schedule and budget. Alan was friendly and courteous and I have already recommended him to another member of the family. He is a great person to have on my list of excellent traders and I shall not hesitate to recommend him again in the future.
