We had a water leak and needed someone to come and check the light was safe to use. I searched on here and saw Alan had great reviews. I contacted Alan on the Monday and he said he would come and have a look the next day. Alan arrived at the arranged time and carried out checks to the light and confirmed it was ok to use. It was all sorted quickly and at a reasonable cost. I would highly recommend his services.

Urgently looking for an Electrician to fix an issue with some lighting and to replace some switches. Alan identified an on-going issue we had with the light in our utility room which he fixed quickly. Very thorough in his work and a friendly honest professional I would recommend.

Alan carried out the installation of an outdoor porch light, bathroom LED mirror and a wireless boiler thermostat switch. He was responsive when I first contacted him and provided a very reasonable quotation. The electrical work was carried out efficiently and to a very high standard. Alan took the time to explain how he would install each device and followed up after the work was completed to check that everything was functioning well. He is very honest, polite and conscientious, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

We hired AC Electrical to install a pendant light in our lounge. Alan was extremely professional, friendly and helpful. The light was fiddly to put up but he did a great job. He worked quietly and efficiently and was also very patient with me when he needed to return because I damaged the first light! All in all a great service. Will use again.

Alan came recommended by another trader who had done some great work for us. He did not disappoint. He returned my call promptly and agreed to call back after Christmas to arrange a date, which he did. He arrived promptly, moved our router as requested and completed the work quickly and efficiently. Firstly Alan is a really lovely man. This matters: you have someone in your home doing stuff you can’t do yourself: it’s important to like and trust them. I was asking him to install strips of lighting into some alcove shelves on either side of my fireplace. He took the time to visit the site before work started and gave me lots of ideas and advice. On the installation day he got on with the job and I am very happy with the outcome which has transformed the room. I’ll definitely be asking him to do other jobs in the future because he was punctual, the work done was good and to budget and he is entirely trustworthy.

Alan came to our rescue on several occasions recently and we were delighted to find someone who is so efficient, polite and thorough. He installed a new garden floodlight and replaced several wall & counter sockets in our kitchen. We will definitely use him again and recommend him to all our friends.

Alan arrived on time for both appointments we made. He worked quickly and efficiently, explained what he was doing and was easy to talk to. He was very fair with the cost, and actually dealt with a couple of extra items for me. We had to replace the ceiling rose and hanging pendant light fitting. A straightforward job, except that the ceiling rose is about 20 feet up on the top ceiling, below which are stairs and an open space to the ground floor. We had put this job off for decades because we couldn't find anyone who wanted to do it or who had ideas about how to go about it. Alan was happy to accept the challenge. He communicated well and turned up on time and set about creating a safe platform for him to work on. He is clearly happy to accept challenges, and had good ideas when it came to this rather awkward and complex space within which to build the platform. The new light fitting was straightforward for him after that. Alan is a great find - a tradesman who is multi-skilled and who will go beyond to get the job done well. There are many electrical projects that also require other skills, so Alan's experience meant I didn't have to get other people in to build the platform first. He is a quick worker, thinks carefully about his work, and was finished within about 2 hours. He was pleasant, polite and happy to apply a little filling to the ceiling whilst up on the platform. I would thoroughly recommend him, and will be using him for all my future electrical work (at least). He was honest, open, as well as reasonable about the cost. He did the job safely and well, when another company wanted to use 2 people - with the doubling of the costs etc.
