My name is Des and I’m your Chelmsford based loft ladder installation expert. I can help you utilise your loft space by providing quick, easy and affordable loft access and storage solutions.
I can install a loft ladder, loft hatch, loft boarding, insulate and even put in a light, often in just 1 day – no mess, no fuss, just easy access to all that lovely storage space.

Phil and Pete were excellent when they fitted the loft hatch and boarded out half of my loft then Phil and a new assistant boarded out the remainder after I had all electrical work carried out again they were great and left my premises in clean and tidy condition

Recently used Access 4 Lofts to board our loft and install lights and a ladder. Great communication with the guys and fantastic price for the work offered along with a lifetime guarantee. The guys arrived in time to install, were exceptionally professional, polite and tidy and did a great job. Prompt quotation provided by Des was not at all pushy. Good communication. Fitters arrived on time, carpets covered with dust sheets. Loft boarded and Telescopic ladder fitted by Phil and Pete who were professional, friendly and polite. After completing the job any mess was cleared up and vacuumed away. How to use the ladder was demonstrated. Would highly recommend their services.

Having received 4 quotes for our loft boarding and repair job we chose Access 4 Lofts as they gave us a good price and could get the job done in 3 days that suited us. Des, Phil, Greg and Nick were with us for 2 days (getting the job done a day early) and did a cracking job boarding out our loft spaces, fitting new timber work to sort out some roofing issues and left the place clean and tidy! great work team. Professional service all round. Quick to reply, quote and install loft boarding and ladder. Des kept in touch with updates and time/date leading up to the installation. On the day they arrived on time, laid dust sheets, made little noise, tidied up afterward, asked to inspect the job and showed us how to use the ladder/lights before leaving.
