Having received 4 quotes for our loft boarding and repair job we chose Access 4 Lofts as they gave us a good price and could get the job done in 3 days that suited us. Des, Phil, Greg and Nick were with us for 2 days (getting the job done a day early) and did a cracking job boarding out our loft spaces, fitting new timber work to sort out some roofing issues and left the place clean and tidy! great work team. Not only did we get an appointment for a quote quickly, Des actually turned up on time! Phil and Pete carried out the installation of the insulated loft hatch which has made such a difference to the head loss in our house. The guys were friendly, efficient and cleaned up thoroughly. Prompt quotation provided by Des was not at all pushy. Good communication. Fitters arrived on time, carpets covered with dust sheets. Loft boarded and Telescopic ladder fitted by Phil and Pete who were professional, friendly and polite. After completing the job any mess was cleared up and vacuumed away. How to use the ladder was demonstrated. Would highly recommend their services.

Professional service all round. Quick to reply, quote and install loft boarding and ladder. Des kept in touch with updates and time/date leading up to the installation. On the day they arrived on time, laid dust sheets, made little noise, tidied up afterward, asked to inspect the job and showed us how to use the ladder/lights before leaving. Jim & Matt did a fantastic job of the loft ladder installation & laying of the boards to create a great storage space in the loft. They arrived on time, kept the place very tidy and gave a great demonstration. Excellent workmanship. Very happy customers and fully recommend Access4lofts.

Pete was fantastic today, worked really hard and was extremely courteous. The house is spotless and he did a great job. I’m ashamed to say I get very nervous with tradespeople that I’ve not encountered before after a couple of bad experiences, but you and the team have been fantastic and really renew my faith in getting work done.

Phil and Pete were excellent when they fitted the loft hatch and boarded out half of my loft then Phil and a new assistant boarded out the remainder after I had all electrical work carried out again they were great and left my premises in clean and tidy condition

Excellent service from both Phil who initially visited and discussed options and Ashley who installed the loft ladder and the battery operated lights, which I added to the order at the very last minute. He was very considerate in all aspects of the job and conferred with me, regarding the positioning of the ladder, when extended and also the position of the hatch, when open. He also took great care explaining how to extend and secure the ladder. 2 days before the install date I decided to add lights to the order. ( my electrician booked for the job let me down at last minute) Ashley installed corded battery operated lights which are a great alternative and far more cost effective to install than electric lights. I would definitely recommend this company and wouldn't hesitate to use for further future projects

Having mistakenly used a different company for the initial work, I am delighted with the visit and follow-up work provided by Phil and Jayden of Access4Lofts. Wish I had used them for the original installation. Additionally, whenever I see ‘Which’ mentioned I know I’m in safe hands.

I was referred to Access4Lofts by a friend of my daughter who was aware that I was looking for a company to carry out the work I required. She had been very impressed by the work that they carried out for her two months previous. I had just moved into a bungalow and needed extra storage space having moved from a larger property. The loft access was a small hatch which considerably limited what could be stored in, what otherwise was, a large loft space. After making contact with Access4Lofts, I was contacted speedily by their representative (Des) who visited, told me about the work they could do and gave me a quote for what I needed doing. Des was professional, knowledgeable and installed confidence. I accepted the quote for a new larger hatch with a fold out ladder and the laying of a floating floor across two thirds of the loft. I was also offered an installation date and told that their technicians would arrive at 8.30am. The day arrived and at 8.25am, Phil, Pete and Jim turned up, introduced themselves and got straight down to the work. They worked tirelessly throughout the day and 8 hours after arriving, they had completed the work and invited me to inspect it and also showed me how to use the hatch and ladder. I was so impressed, the flooring in the loft was superb and the new hatch and ladder was everything I wanted. It is rare to be able to compliment trademen, but I cannot praise Access4Lofts more highly. Truly excellent workmanship and I would highly recommend.

I used Access4Lofts Chelmsford to enlarge my existing loft access and install a telescopic ladder. The planning meeting was very useful and helped me identify which way the enlargement could be made and a choice of ladders. The costs were given in a quote and the work was carried out by Pete at the appointed time. The work took only two to three hours and Pete was very professional friendly and very tidy. Dust sheets were used throughout and a thorough clean at the end was made. I would recommend this company to anyone considering a loft alteration

Hi Team, the service from originally reaching out with not much of a clue was a good way forward to having you folks out to explain the task and complete was nothing short of awesome. On the day the folks that arrived on site, Matt, Jim & Jayden were polite, professional and very helpful in helping me understand what will take place and post the work taking me through everything, I literally had the wow factor when seeing the end results, so pleased and also at a price that felt deserved of your skills and talents. More than over the moon that you and the team were transparent and comprehensive through the entire process, thank you from my family and I, we now have an immense amount of additional safe storage to utilise. Hatch revised and the ladder installed on time, neatly and politely for quoted price. Following day I requested a modification which was attended to immediately to my complete satisfaction. I will use them again for other planned loft work.

This was an excellent service from start to finish. I rang the company they sent a gentleman out to look at our loft and recommend a suitable ladder. No unnecessary sales talk just good honest advice. The ladder was fitted this morning by Pete and Jim. They just arrived did their job, tidied up and left again . No fuss or problems. I had my loft boarded, insulated and hatch widened by Access4Lofts Chelmsford last week, I am very impressed with the work done, they were very professional and worked hard to get the job done in one day. Shout out to Phil/Jim/Kyle who did a great job and even hoovered the area once finished - very refreshing not to have to deep clean after having work done! Would highly recommend.
