I selected Alan from a supplier list of around 3-4 because of his friendly approach to the quotation process, and to his ability to price match and he explained clearly what would happen and sent me video demonstration so I could see what I would be getting from a wooden ladder as a replacement for my metal ladder that was breaking. On the day of the work Alan and his colleague arrived early and worked efficiently to complete the job in just under 3 hours. I was very impressed with the workmanlike manner of the installation, thank you

Entry to our roof loft was either impossible to open or impossible to close. Alan fitted a new hatch with much improved access gear. The loft in our garage was very dangerous to access and my wife had fallen from it and was lucky not to suffer serious injury. Alan brought a longer ladder with simple and safe accessories. We booked him for Tuesday but had to change to the Wednesday. This caused him no problems. Throughout he was courteous and informative, and completed both tasks in the space of a morning.

I wanted to replace my loft ladder to one that would be more accessible as I got older. Alan came out promptly to give suggestions and then sent me a quote - quite comprehensive, which is what I like so you know exactly what is included in the price. After accepting the quote I didn't have to wait long for him to come and do the work. Both he and the young man he brought were courteous and got on with the job. He did a couple of extra things on the day and was happy to add them to the existing quote.
