Disgusting communication and customer service from Acorn Windows, would not use this company again for any further work.I recently put an order in for the replacement of a patio door and kitchen window as part of a significant home improvement project. The project went very well, the replacement window and door from Acorn Windows were fraught with disaster. And problems of which I had to chase continuously With phone calls and taking time off work to wait in for. Even after complaining to James Hibbert and sending photos of his teams work there was no offer of an apology ! When we were researching the company a letter of commendation was found which was dated 29th February 2017, however it was written 30th March 2016! . It seems communication may be an issue.

A reply from our Managing Director - James Hibbert. I am so sorry to hear of your disappointment with the level of service and communication. I am aware that our installer had a road traffic accident on the way to start your project so we certainly did not get off to the best start. I also notice that you have used us before and have been quite happy in the past. We have again emphasised on our paperwork to customers that my direct e mail address and direct mobile phone number is available to all of our customers and I will personally visit anyone who is unhappy - although we will of course do our very best as a local family business to keep all customers happy, even when mistakes occur. We have hundreds of thank you letters at our showroom and I have tried (unsuccessfully) to find the one described as being with an incorrect date. I can assure everyone that all of our letters are all 100% genuine and are on display for anyone to see. As a gesture of goodwill we will send £100 to a charity of Nicola's choice and have emailed this offer directly to her and her husband. Our chosen charity for this year is Treetops Hospice in Risley.

Everything went according to what we had been told. The two fitters (excellent lads) turned up on time, and did a great job. The quality of the units was excellent. I have used Acorn since buying my house and I wouldn't go elsewhere.

Acorn Windows recently fitted some new windows for me. The salesman who initially came over was great - not pushy at all and very friendly. The fitters were brilliant - I've had a lot of trades people through the door over the years and these were among the best. The windows look great - a very modern finish which was just what I wanted. I did have a query about the frames themselves after the fitting and the company were faultless at making sure I was happy. I had eight different companies over for quotes because so many of them were terrible - I'm glad that I found Acorn Windows in the end! We had our windows done in two parts, downstairs last year, and upstairs this year. On both occasions the workers were friendly, clean & professional and we are very happy with the completed work. Would absolutely recommend!
